"Barchart looks great" Really! The last time I looked, it was "48% SELL". What I'm I missing? I don't give too much credence to that Barchart indicator. JMO!
GLTA!!!
"As such, Derbyshire NHS decided not to accept the Actipatch for the same reason the NHS accepted the Actipatch. It is like go figure." DB, please explain this statement. Thanks!
GLTA!!!
Well, "B", that would be nice, but BIEL's share structure is not in favor of that kind of explosion per their PPS. Consider NeuroMetrix, Inc. stock details; this is the company that's connected with the Quell device. NeuroMetrix has only 7+mil shares outstanding, and the PPS, at present, is $1.32. So, the math does not suggest BIEL's PPS will trend at that rate by Christmas, of course, aforementioned based on receiving Full Body Clearance. But nonetheless, it appears that BIEL is in prime position to reap enormous success in the near future.
Go BIEL!! and GLTA!!!
I would like to thank those who responded to my post @ #150395 with acknowledgement and DD info. Furthermore, in general, the series of posts which followed mine were quite informative and all business, without pointed commentary. Super! Not to say my post had anything to do with your great posts, mind you. But it was a pleasure and very refreshing to read them. Good Job Crew!!
And GLTA!!!
I wonder how long did it take NeuroMetrix Inc.(the maker of Quell), to get FDA clearance? I think the answer would be interesting.
P.S. "NeuroMetrix's stock soars in active trade after collaboration with GlaxoSmithKline on Quell". Hey! BIEL, hookup with some big boy, if necessary, and get this show on the road. Enough of this pussy-footing around!
P.S. One might ask, why isn't there some big player like Amazon, Microsoft, or Google etc., trying to elbow their way into the medical device arena through a company like BIEL? Why are they appearing to be stand offish, when it comes to BIEL? I think those are go questions.
Nonetheless, Go BIEL!!
GLTA!!!
Two companies with similar devices, and neither has the funds to promote their product. Wow! How ironic, I guess!
GLTA!!!
I agree with you DB... there is a lot to feel good about regarding BIEL's future prospects. But on the other hand, why is the FDA delaying the inevitable? It's pretty much a certainty that Full Body Clearance (FBC) will happen. As I understand it, the technology in question, has been around for more than thirty years, so no big surprise there. Furthermore, the FDA has enough history with BIEL's research studies and its application of the technology to give clearance in two days, IMO. Yes, I understand if they want to give the FDA clearance process a bit more high-brow legitimacy by protracting issuance, but holding out for a month and counting. Well!!. In the meantime, we'll just abide, and wait for FBC!
GLTA!!!
This means that the company (REVO) is officially out of business, right?
Well, I hear yah, but I was referring to the Full Clearance, not the Challenge.
GLTA!!!
I predict that the FDA will take the approval time down to the wire. Probably will announce during the week of the deadline, if there is one. The FDA has demonstrated their talent as a master "Goldbrick" artist. Well, at least, as it relates to BIEL.
GLTA!!!
Great! Hope it works out in BIEL's favor!
GLTA!!!
Good News! But as per my interpretation of the SEC ruling, thus, the case is still open, and further proceedings will be assigned and conducted at a later date. Is that correct?
GLTA!!!
Well, right JGD! A 100% gain doesn't equal 1 cent! So apparently, you agree with my assessment. Correct? When I made the projection regarding the stock not overcoming that 1 cent barrier, I was referring to BIEL's stock reaction immediately after FDA full clearance. I was not making an assessment on long term trend.
GLTA!!!
I'm a heavy holder of BIEL stock, and will stay relative heavy for the long haul. But I would like to make this point; maybe we shouldn't expect much movement in response to FDA Full Clearance news. The 1¢ barrier probably won't even be tested! The reason why that is has been talked about on this board in "ad nauseam". Yes, share structure probably won't permit a big bang, regarding PPS. IMO! Thus, basic knowledge of stock behavior and historical analogs would assuredly support the aforementioned assertion. But, to take the "long-view" assessment of BIEL's future, well things look pretty spectacular.
Go! BIEL!!
GLTA!!!
Obama didn't approve what?
Hey! You get no argument from me. As I have posted before, for years, IMO, the FDA has been goldbricking BIEL. It's pretty clear, IMO, the FDA's actions towards BIEL for years now, have been proxy in nature. If you know what I mean? But now, at this juncture, by all accounts, BIEL is on the verge of getting its just due. Go BIEL!!
GLTA!!!
You say... "This is going to be BIG folks...real BIG!!!" Well, many would ask, why isn't it already big? A valid question!
GLTA!!!
I wonder why BIEL doesn't offer at least two colors of K-Tape? The product will be worn under light colored clothing at times, so a white version would be quite practical, IMHO.
GLTA!!!
If you have a product, especially a product which could be a game changer, as they say, then advertising is never wasted. By the way, Actipatch is sold all over the world, not just in the FDA ruled, U.S. of A. Although, the U.S. is the largest Actipatch market, there is a whole lot of money to be made in other countries. So you advertise in these places. You know, there would be a potential by-product afforded BIEL if they advertised heavily outside the U.S., and thus, was successful in bringing in respectable amounts of cash, and adding customers. That by-product would be in the form of applying pressure on the FDA to award clearance for Actipatch, ASAP. Thus, how could the FDA justify witnessing populations all over the world enjoying the benefits of this product, while conversely, having people of this country being denied those benefits because of their recalcitrant attitude towards BIEL. If the people of this country got wind of that, they would have the FDA at bay. Yes, that's right, on the run! Throngs would be snapping at their heels! IMHO! That's My Take!!
GLTA!!!
Well BIEL, it's apparent that you feel you don't have to advertise your product to people. But then, I guess it also can be assumed that you feel the same way about our four legged friends as well. Huh! What did you say BIEL? We don't need no stinking advertising!
GLTA!!!
This is old news, isn't it? Like, more than a week ago!
GLTA!!!
If BIEL gets the nod regarding the FDA innovation challenge, and also, gets FDA Full Clearance, then at least we should see a 1¢ PPS or greater, by year's end. Does anyone disagree?
GLTA!!!
I didn't say or imply that it's a secret. It's always a good idea to get the full story about anything. Wouldn't you say?
GLTA!!!
If I said it once, I've said it a thousand times! If BIEL does not improve its fundamentals, no serious investment firm (i.e., large Financial/investment Institutions, which include, large Money Market Funds, etc.) will not touch it. Furthermore, firms of that ilk place a great deal of weight on the caliber of management talent associated with a potential investment target company.
GLTA!!!
If BIEL decided to have Actipatch acquired by prescription only in the UK, and thus, putting the product behind the counter. Well, wouldn't it be a reasonable assumption that BOOTS made a business decision to eliminate Actipatch from its online product list? Maybe the next DD action is to find out if BOOTS is providing Actipatch via prescription only, wouldn't you say? Now, if BOOTS has totally disassociated itself from the product, then that's an item of concern, and should be investigated. Just My Take!!
"GLTA""
Please expound on your post. What about "BOOTS/GONE"!?
Thanks!
GLTA!!!
If anybody on this board defends, or makes excuses for these latest financials, they shouldn't be taken seriously. Furthermore, if BIEL does not launce a serious AD campaign a few days after receiving FDA Full Clearance, then we should logically assume that management is not working in the company's best interest. It's a real shame to have a product with such potential as Actipatch, but have an incompetent management group in control of its future. Folks, this is truly ridiculous! This has mismanagement written all over it! You have to advertise to get any sales traction regarding any product. Do you think that "My Pillow" guy had a ton of money when he started out? Chances are, he didn't! It's a good bet that he leveraged his advertising via a financial institution, or he partnered up with someone/some group with deep pockets. If he utilized either method, he incurred debt. Maybe that's the reason AW doesn't have funds to advertise, he has an aversion for debt. Well, how has that working out for BIEL, so far? Hey! Folks! Do you realize BIEL could go out of business if this keeps up! This company has huge problems. But whatever the problem, AW is driving this company into the ground. I've seen bad management destroy a promising company before. By-the-by, I was heavily invested in that company. So, man (AW), go out and get a line-of-credit with some bank, if you can't get money from anybody else. Then Advertise! Advertise! Advertise! Enough is enough!!
GLTA!!!
Agree! I stated in an earlier post that BIEL'S CEO himself said expect the FDA clearance response in 90 days after submission. But yet, I got pushback on this board. It makes no sense unless you read between the lines. Thus, I think I know why some post's content is contrary to what any reasonable observer would expect. But let's put that item aside and engage in a little bit of trivia, and reason. Now Lloyds, which headquartered in the UK, is a subsidiary of Celesio, a German company; The majority owner of Celesio is an American company, McKesson Corporation. In 2017, McKesson recorded revenues of $198.5 billion. Wow!! I think that's greater than Amazon in 2017! Now one would think this mega company can afford to advertise a product which is touted to be the next great thing in the way of a drugless analgesic? As I recall, someone on this board posted that AW said, initially, he would rely on his affiliates to advertise for him. So, if that's true, then why aren't these second parties picking up the baton and advertising? Most of these affiliate companies are not based within the U.S., so the FDA is not in play. So why are they not advertising in a big way? I'm just saying something just doesn't figure here!!
That's My Take!!
GLTA!!!
P.S. A little secret... just maybe someone told them not to seriously advertise at this time, for whatever reason. Huh! y'all!
What is this "LUMINAS Patch" pain therapy that's being advertised on TV now? I guess it's been around for a time, but I wasn't aware of it's existence. Has it been approved by the FDA? Hey! Regardless of this product, BIEL best get off its butt and get this train rolling and advertise. Or, it's going to be just another pack-runner vying for a shrinking market share. With any product, you want "Quick to Market", and "Speed of Scale Marketing" implementation. BIEL is lagging on both ends of this philosophy. Opportunity waits for no one! Let's go BIEL! Get It Going!
GLTA!!!
Oh! Wow! It's far from me to "twist" anybody's words. Of course, predictions are kinda loose by their own nature, don't you think?
GLTA!!!
Yes, '65, I tend to agree! When big money is at stake, thus, in this case with Actipatch, there will be big winners and those who will lose big (i.e., big pharma). So, behind the scenes, you can count on big time politics working overtime! I know we all hope things will break for BIEL in a spectacular way, but man, there are some powerful forces out there lying in wait for BIEL. They would like nothing better to shut this potential juggernaut down, completely. Or, at least, try to make it pretty tough for Actipatch to take a strong hold within our medical zeitgeist. I don't know how they could possibly pull that off, but considering the world we live in today, well, who knows! That's my take!!
GLTA!!!
Well, yes, I agree with those who say people should feel free to make loose predictions relating to FDA clearance decisions regarding BIEL. It's a free country, thus, you have the ole "Amendment I" working for you! But nonetheless, my caveat to those predictions is they should be general, in nature. Such as, giving one's opinion about BIEL future success because of its effectiveness, uniqueness, or market position, for instance. Conversely, to tout, or to hype some big development will happen next week, next Monday, by next Friday, etc.; is getting pretty close to pumping, don't ya think? Of course, we don't want that, right?!
It's just beginning to smell a little bit, that's all.
GLTA!!!
We need to stop all this event predictions, regarding FDA approval, etc.! Yah! The big will happen! Just let it!
GLTA!!!
Considering the potential of this product, IMO, BIEL stock should be trading in dollars, not fractions of a penny. If we are honest with ourselves, I think most of us have a pretty good idea regarding the reasons why this stock is floundering this way. But hopefully, things will change for the better soon. However, IMHO, if this stock doesn't break the multi-penny barrier upon the FDA full clearance announcement, then we surely have big problems. Just My Take!
GLTA!!!
P.S. Cause and Effect Reasoning = Pure Logic!!
Hey! LooK! I'm not bailing on the company, nor the stock, but just have a personal opinion on company activity, mainly their marketing approach. That's it!
GLTA!!!
I kinda disagree! On the other hand, why doesn't BIEL just leverage their manufacturing demands, and their advertising needs, as well? I would think, with the revenue returns generated by effective ads, BIEL would be able to make good on its debts in pretty short order. By diluting as it has in the past, and apparently still doing, is only stagnating the PPS. I can understand anyone's aversion towards accumulating debt, but sometimes manageable debt can be a strong ally. That's my Take!!
GLTA!!!
Oh, my goodness! Now I'm hearing the "it will happen next year" band of soothsayers, oracles, or whatever you want to call them. Please, let's not get into the fortunetelling mode again. To paraphrase, it will happen next Monday! It will happen next week! Next month! For sure, Q4 is the charm! The truth of the matter, it will happen when it happens! I think we all are pretty certain that BIEL is the "diamond play" on the pink charts, but these predictions are just kinda irritating. I'm sorry, it's just a pet peeve of mine.
GLTA!!!
"B", your post is an interesting read. Great! Yah know, maybe Scully needs to take a strong look at BIEL(i.e. Actipatch). In his article he talks about his position at RxAdvance "is inspired by his desire to pursue noble causes in business". Well, I think many would say the primary objective of Actipatch is a noble cause. Furthermore, Mr. Scully highlights that "RxAdvance is working to bring down the cost of healthcare in the United States by bringing down the costs related to managing prescription drug costs in particular". Well, as I understand it, one of the salient benefits of using Actipatch is its cost effectiveness. So there, you have it! So, maybe those two solidly laudable features of Actipatch could seduce Mr. Scully over to our side. But if he wouldn't commit to coming over to BIEL bodily, then maybe he would employ his company to adopt Actipatch as a functional mascot in its effort to bring down the cost of healthcare in the ole U.S. of A.
GLTA!!! And Yes, Go BIEL!!!!
Good points "B" !
Why shouldn't it hit the 1 cent mark, or greater? To make it to only .005, is not exemplary, in regards to where this stock should be upon FDA full approval, IMHO. That's why I continue to post my concerns regarding the fundamentals of this company. Of course, BIEL's marketing woes have a lot to do with it, as well. But something needs to improve for sure, in those areas!
GLTA!!!
