Somalia's Economy Returning
http://somalilandinformer.com/index.php/rtl-demos/item/4172-somalia-seeks-to-rebuild-economy-promote-peace-at-uae-summit
Gulf state money coming into Somalia, oil and gas is where they will invest.
Check the record - there were only 5M shares authorized and 5M issued at 1 Euro par - they did a 1 for 100 forward split recently.
Well Informed Bashers
Looking to buy in on the cheap it seems - I don't see a lot of shares out there, do you?
Disputed Assets
Not uncommon in the oil biz - Kurdistan, South Sudan, Darfur, Puntland, Somnaliland all started out that way. The claims get resolved as governments change. The assets have no value until the claimant comes into possession.
The nice thing about KIMJF is that it has conventional assets in Somalia too so the company is diversified and the risk spead around.
They have conventional and unconventional assets.
Go read www.kcap.biz
They main asset is the NI 51-101 Somalia ACA Block which has prospective oil and is farmed out from the Somali Federal Government which definitely exists.
The contingent assets are with governments in exile which the company values at 0.
Maximum leverage means Highest Potential Gains
They way I see it - KIMJF offers extreme leverage for the cheapest price possible.
Oil prices rise on Ukraine fears
SINGAPORE – Oil prices rose in Asian trade Tuesday on renewed fears about Ukraine after pro-Russian protesters seized government buildings in the eastern city of Donetsk.

Somalia Gas alternative Russia
The ACA Block is close enough to Europe to take up some of the slack from Russian gas. The troubles in Ukraine are getting worse!

Big Stakes in Somalia
As I have been telling you - the UK, Russia, China, major like Shell are all involved in Somalia or through smaller proxies. KIMJF is on the inside track; their partner is the Somali Federal Government.

Oil Companies Flock to Oil-Rich Somalia
http://www.allusponline.com/?p=8838
In Somalia they know that the big six oil companies are coming back and those that can take claims NOW like KIMJF will be richly be rewarded.
World Bank Reinvests in Oil to Save Somalia
http://irokoheritage.com/2014/04/04/somalia-calls-for-world-bank-to-re-invest-in-oilgas-to-save-war-ravaged-country/
Belize based venture capitalist company Kilimajaro Capital is calling on the World bank to re-invest in the Amsas-Coriole-Afgoi (ACA) Block of almost 1.2 million acres of gas situated some 50 Km from the Somalia Capital Mogadishu to revamp the economy of Somalia and help improve the security situation of the country.
Kilimanjaro Capital CEO Zulfikar Rashid
Kilimanjaro Capital CEO Zulfikar Rashid
With an estimated worth of $US 3.75, the block which is 51 percent owned by the Somalia government could provide badly needed revenue for the government but only after more investment from stakeholders. Kilimanjaro Capital has a 5% interest in the block and according to its CEO Zulfikar Rashid, “…the development of the ACA Block is vital to not only to the national economy of Somalia but its security. Extremism can only be prevented through economic opportunity.”
The Somali government with the help of African Union peacekeepers is presently embroiled in a long running with Islamist fundamentalist group Al Shaabab that wants to introduce strict Sharia rule in Somalia.
Still on the necessity to develop the block to help Somalia, Mr Rashi stated ““The commercial potential of the ACA Block is not just as an export resource but also as an inexpensive source of natural gas for local industry. Kilimanjaro envisions that a Somalia Free Trade Zone could be built around the presence of this abundant, affordable and clean energy resource. This type of project which equally emphasizes local development and export revenue will be appealing to both the World Bank and Somali government.”
The ACA Block was original drilled by Somalia Sinclair Oil in the 1960s and found to be extremely promising. The block was nationalized by the Somali government in the 1970s and drilled in the 1980s with World Bank financing. The Somalia civil war intervened and in the Transitional Somalia government assigned the ACA Block to Amsas Pty. in 2008. Kilimanjaro signed a farm out agreement with Amsas in 2013.
Kilimanjaro Capital has economic interests in emerging African countries including Biafra in Nigera, Cabinda in Angola, Southern Cameroons and Matebebeland in Zimbabwe
Exploration stage company - first they do the acquisitions then line up exploration team for seismic, drilling etc. KIMJF also is holding contingent assets like a number of AIM companies. Sounds like you are expecting to be able to buy into Exxon or Chevron at 2 cemts?
When the Dust settles they Drill
Maiombe - Kilimanjaro holds a 49% non controlling interest in Maiombe Ouro e Minerais Ltd. Maiombe is a private mining company which has a concession in the Cooperative Minier de Developpment du Mayombe "COMDDM" in northeast Cabinda near the Congolese (Brazzaville) border. Maiombe reports that it has made site visits to its property but has delayed drilling for gold and diamonds pending the outcome of the border incident negotiations between Congo Brazzaville and Angola. Angolan soldiers have recently clashed with both FLEC and Congolese troops in the region.

Sitting Between Two World Class Diamond Fields
At present, there are plans for an exploration of the region for both gold and diamonds. Diamonds are the most important mineral resource after oil, occurring in kimberlites and a variety of placer deposits. At least 700 kimberlites are known, of varying size and shape. The diamond grade increases with depth. The kimberlites are aligned along a NE-SW trend, which extends into the Democratic Republic of Congo. Most of the alluvial diamonds are produced from the erosion of Cretaceous kimberlites. The richest fields are located in Lunda Norte in the northeast of Angola approximately 200KM south of Maiombe.

LOL!
Gold Drilling
Presumably they want to drill to find out where the alluvial gold is coming from:
"It has been reported that approximately 500 kg of gold have been removed from this region, mainly from small tributaries of the Luali River in central Cabinda. The alluvial gold was associated with vein quartz in granite. The average recovered grade varied between 1 and 2g/m3 however, a number of higher grade "pockets" were recorded."
http://spilpunt.blogspot.com/2008/01/gold-in-angola.html
Gold in the Hills
The Maoimbe mine has got real gold and apparently it was mined recently:
"There have been two exploration/mining expeditions by FLEC to the COMDDM in 2007 and 2011. In each case gold and other minerals were documented. Anecdotal and photographic observations suggest that the area is a mineral storehouse, largely untapped that would benefit from professional exploration efforts."
http://kcap.biz/users/editorialdisp.php?mn=712362&fn=maiombe
Reopening Old Wells
So if I read this correctly, they just have to redrill the old wells.
"The ACA Block has an interesting history, it was drilled by Sinclair Oil and then ARCO with oil found as early as 1960. The wells were capped since Somalia was not in production mode."

Wild Ride Today
I guess they finally read the favorable news in the Update and woke up.
Lot's of news today

KIMJF CEO Big Acquisition Talk
Wonder what it will be - mineral or oil? I bet oil given the reference to Somalia below.
"North America – Since September 2013 we have been in negotiations to acquire a significant conventional asset in North America. The reasoning is twofold. First, we want to enhance shareholder value and equity by diversifying our portfolio and secondly, the contacts and experience gained here will shortly pay off in Somalia. Expect a flash news release shortly about this pending acquisition – all I can say now is that it is big and it is in production mode."

Rashid TSX oilman
Rasgid is one of those Calgary cowboys - looks like he has been associates with several TSX oilers but has the African connections too.
Yytrium Sells for $$$
The article also mentions Somalia had rare earth metals like yytrium.

Lost Uranium Mines
Something like 25% of the world's uranium reserves were supposed to be in Somalia but all the records were lost or destroyed and I think the US made sure back in 1993 all traces of operation were covered up so it would not fall in the wrong hands.
Someone (hint KIMJF) could make a lot of money.
http://news.google.com/newspapers?id=hbVWAAAAIBAJ&sjid=gOkDAAAAIBAJ&pg=7276,235261&dq=somalia&hl=en
Uranium is the sleeping elephant here
I think KIMJF has a wicked strategy - oil, gas and more in order to work with a major, Russian or Chinese heavyweight.
Mineral rights plus three more blocks in Somalia:
KIMJF is building a major base of holdings in Somalia
