I had a longstanding sell order that was finally filled on 12 Feb this year when that pop happened. 1.24M shares at a $1,386 cost from 2011. 10 years. Sold at an average .00075 for a loss, realizing $898. I still have 139k class B dividend shares. Almost signed them over today to TDAmeritrade along with a security that went bankrupt (ChemRX) years ago, but decided to keep them since they don't show a negative $ amount as did ChemRX.
That's right. It is a bad spec play at this point, in my opinion. I had a residual amount (212k) that sold today, what was left over from the 39M+ I had and that sold a few weeks ago. Today 60M shares traded. I hope those who have held for too long have been selling out of their position (if that's what they wanted).
I hope you're doing better now and have steered away from pennies... besides a nominal gamble in them as pure speculation.
Happy for you! My 39M shares were sold today (the 24th) as well... happy to have FINALLY gotten out of this. I had a sell order for over 9 months, and I'm glad whoever did the speculative buying cashed us out. I lost over $16k in this stupid buy from 10 years ago. Expensive lesson learned: NEVER TRADE PENNY STOCKS OF COMPANIES THAT ARE BOGUS. (most penny stocks are bogus companies, btw)
Motley Fool was the largest owner of ELCR until recently... according to this brief.
Supposedly they lost 31k and dumped it last year.
This screenshot is from my TD Ameritrade "news" regarding ELCR (of which I, like a Motley Fool, still own 39M):
And this one is sourced from HoldingsChannel.com showing ELCR in their losing list (click link to view their entire holdings of winners and losers and gains from 4th quarter 2019):
I haven't *heard* any news...
It may have been mentioned, but I don't follow the news nor what these hired hands say, whether positive or negative regarding what I trade or do.
I haven't any news from the talking head(s). I think any company should stand on its own... even something as game changing as this one... and thus is why this company ( or the business model of cleaner / free energy ) will swallow up the old model of polluting the nature and people.
As to why it is getting pummeled... someone mentioned a death cross.

I think the smart money has already been moving their interests into the cleaner model of energy... it is those who don't adjust well to change, both those with oil and gas interests and those who believe the lies on teevee.
Pride, greed, etc.. has been for quite a while... yet the more people become aware of what is possible, the polluting models of energy ( in this example ) will become very unpopular.
That tells me this is going to swallow up the utility model as we know it.
You're welcomed! May God bless your efforts ;)
It's a challenge letting winners run when they are options... decay is a pain... got to sell immediately and buy back in after some rot..
lol, if you'd take a look at my account you'd wonder why RISK isn't my given name...
Today's strong pullback and the signals do point to a time of selling... but what do I know? I do know when options expire all kinds of illogical things happen.
