I would imagine that there were several people that lost some BIG BUCKS. Have you heard anything about is where abouts? I wonder if he is still in the San Diego area.
DOES IT RFEALLY MATTER?????????
Never count NY out of anything. Me thinks he is working on his next venture and you may have hit the nail on the head. As they say time will tell.
That is a GREAT idea. He could even come on this chat room as NY/ROBO2.
There seem to be a lot of knowledgeable folks in this chat room so I propose we have a contest, seriously what do you all think will be Nick Yates' next project. You all know that there will be one. It's just a matter of when. I wouldn't be surprised if he was working on something right now.
How many shares do you want to buy for a nickel???
Was there ever any proof that PM paid up front for the machines he supposedly purchased/ordered?
My answers to all questions are NO. I have spent the last week trying to figure out what really happened to Vend. First I want to say that I do not know N.Y, never met him and do not ever want to meet him. My scenario goes like this. In the beginning I wondered why he picked a yogurt machine because you can buy yogurt anywhere. Then I thought make a machine that uses a robot that will fascinate kids enough to get into the parents pockets. My thinking is up to this point he could make millions. This is where I feel he didn't do his homework. He then started selling the machines much faster than they could be produced. This is where the trouble started. He started taking bonuses and other monies that should have been put back to pay the bills and franchisees that wanted out. At that time I think he decided it wasn't going to be successful and drained all the monies out of the company that he could until he got caught.
Summary: I feel it started out O.K. BUT soon turned out to be a VERY UGLY SCAM. I feel very badly for all the people he has pardon the expression screwed up their lives. You may not agree with all this and that is O.K. Just my humbled opinion.
Please don't get the wrong idea as I dislike Yates just as much as all of you folks for what he has done to so many people including his own employees. I am also very glad that I have never met him. I hope someday he ends up where he belongs and you all know where that is.
I showed several of Franky's posts to someone (I'm not naming Alvie) and asked who they thought it was and this is the answer I received ( I think it is Nick himself.) This person should know.
Maybe if some you good people would have done some research on Nick Yates's past you might not have jumped right in to the net. Especially the credit card scam. Will VEND put a black mark on any other start up companies, time will tell. My heart goes out to all of NY's employees past and present also you investors and franchisees. I too like Alvie except for the fact that he is a Houston Astro fan.
I DON'T GIVE A RAT'S YOU KNOW WHAT, IF ANYONE BELIEVES ME OR NOT. I KNOW THE REAL TRUTH ABOUT THIS COMPANY. I MADE MY MONEY FROM THIS COMPANY WHEN THE PUMPER'S AND DUMPER'S WERE AROUND AND THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS TO ME. I ASSURE YOU I WOULD NOT POST ANYTHING UNLESS I WAS SURE WHAT I WAS SAYING WAS TRUE. SO LONG AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU ESPECIALLY SONATA.
Alvie won't believe you either unless you provide names and addresses and maybe phone numbers.
I will not reveal the identity of my friend but I do know he/she is truthful. If you choose not to believe what I was told that is your problem. He/she has good reason to know the franchisee. Who was the only one that said the owner of Print Mates was Nick's brother??
moneydontgrowontrees----- Check out post 3355. All franchisees are NOT happy with VEND'S customer service and product. Several lawsuit's filed.
First of all I want you (Alvie) to know my intent was NOT to criticize you in any way. I was just trying to search out your feelings about what was being posted lately. Am I right in thinking now that you only listen to and believe what comes directly from VEND themselves? I can't argue with that if that is your intent. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Good to hear from you Alvie. Are you saying that all these people are just BLOWING SMOKE??
Where is Alvie??? Does he think VEND will still turn it around????
I spoke with a friend of mine in St. Louis over the week end and he knows a Fresh Vending franchisee. He told him he has 75 vending machines installed and 3 years ago spent $360,000 on the new Reis & Irvy's machines. He never got the machines or any locations and is filing a law suit this week. Nick Yates agreed and signed a promissory note to pay him back and never made any payments. He also told him about a lawsuit from 6 other franchisees that used the same attorney and there are more to come, as no one is getting locations or machines and they want their money back. This doesn't sound good folks.
Sonata the former employees you talk about further their careers from the lessons learned from Nick Yates. I have heard that a couple of them have much better jobs now from checking out the companies and owners background before joining their companies. LESSON LEARNED.
IN REF. to your last paragraph. In the past we have had posts from some of the people you refer to, some that had their machines and some still waiting for the machines or refunds but NONE are posting any information anymore. Any ideas about why they have left this board?? I have thought that some are still watching for any kind of information posted. Maybe Sonata chased them away. Just kidding.
doesitreallymatter Myself and some other people I know think you hit the nail right on the head. It may take some time but I think your theory is very close to being right. TIME WILL TELL.
Alvie-----I have gone over the two posts by NickYates44 and gave them some real thought and I believe you have it right. Here is what I now think.
I think it might be him. Desperate men take desperate actions. Why he would want to put himself out there like that is beyond me. Only ego and wanting to set people 'straight' seems to be his motivation.
HEADS I WIN, TAILS YOU LOSE.
MJ you have hit the nail on the head. NY may be in the background but you know exactly he will have the final say. He will never walk away from the decision making. NEVER. Sorry to hear that you are in the same boat as many of these posters. I was soooo lucky to get out when I did. The day the share price hit $10.00 I could see the "Pump & Dump" people were getting out so I decided it was the right time for me to get out also, made a very nice profit which I was very grateful for. My wish is for the share price to raise high enough that all poster's holding shares can get their money invested back.
Sonata
Phil is probably in the celebration with Yates. Neither one is doing well lately.
Don't you think that if his numbers were good he would be happy to tell them??? My gut feeling is that they are not that good.
I just thought of a SUPER, GREAT idea that would make people line up at the yogurt machines. SPRINKLES Of CBD OIL on top. Just think of it, a cup of yogurt that will cure anything and everything. The stock price would go up like crazy and Sonata would even make some money. What do you all think??

Go to this site as it may be your answer to sales in California. It seems NY and Trotter were caught in a fraud case in the state of Washington with the sales of phone cards and vending machines. Maybe California didn't want to be next in their line for their next scheme.
Sonata, you are too smart for your own good. If I was N.Y. I would hire you to get you off this board. Do you play "POWERBALL"? If not you should.
To Sonata. Sell your VEND, take your loss and buy INTC (Intel). They make the security chip that is on most credit cards and they are suppose to come out with a new chip this coming fall that cannot be read by bandits that can scan your cards in your pocket. This stock is very hot right now. You will make up your losses easy. I bought 855 shares in Nov. 2018 and after 5 months the share price went from $46.54 to todays closing price of $58.92. Figure that out $12.38 jump times 855 shares is $10,585.00. NOT BAD.
Here are some other stocks I have that are doing very well also:
OXLC a mortgage REIT, pays 1.27% per share monthly equals 15.28% yearly
VZ, good old Verizon share price up 37% in 9 months.
CSCO, up 43.5% in 9 months.
I don't show you these things to brag. I just want to show you that there are better ways of making money besides penny stocks. That is why I switched. GOOD LUCK to anyone who wants to do better than VEND.
Hey Sonata I could trade you a couple shares of Boeing for your shares of Vend. Your ship is going down and my airplanes are going down also. I am glad I decided to dump most of them when the second plane went down as they were up just under $30.00/share from my purchase price. When things settle down later I probably will go back. I kept a few for seed.
DO I WIN SONATA'S SHARES FOR MY PRIZE???????????
Hey Alvie, I think watching this board has more and better laughs than all of the late night talk shows put together. To all of you stock holders of VEND and franchisees put your $$$$$ in (BA) Boeing, (INTC) Intel, (VZ) Verizon and (AAPL) as I did two weeks ago and you will make some REAL $$$$$$$. TD Ameritrade only $6.95 a trade.
I repeat my previous message.
TO: doesitreallymatter post 2047
Word of warning, don't bet the farm that Nick Yates and Frank Yates are NOT Brothers. I'll say no more!!
HOW RIGHT YOU ARE SONATA.

Looks like, just like with Fresh, NY needs to find another widget to sell since the frozen yogurt idea has nearly run its course with buyers, investors and locations. Look back and you can see a pattern one business runs it's course and another is in the background waiting and you can see what happened to the one that has run out. I hope for all you people's sake it doesn't happen again.
I would think some of the negative posters would remind the others of what took place with "Fresh Healthy Vending."
