Agree. Nothing to substantiate such a claim that I am aware of. Would be nice though. I suppose one could post such a statement to attempt and pump it from here to over .01 for a quick flip.
Time to go back to the doghouse.
A rather interesting post from an alias created today. Care to expand upon that and indicate how this is coming about?
Thanks for posting that. Let's hope that something can be made of Quture to provide a lasting legacy.
Could you please identify these people? I'd like to know who are the long timers and who has bailed.
Sad news indeed. It would be nice to know what becomes of Quture with this unfortunate event.
Fluff only goes far.
:) I don't really ask any questions anymore of this mess. At some point during 2018 I will be gone or this will go down first.
QUTR, rocking the medical outcomes world for yet another day!! Come on LF, just how long do you need?
1. It is an old boys network and it will be very difficult to break in with something new.
-> I've been in IT for 30+ years, I am quite well aware of the "old boy" or "not invented here" or "it would mean my job" syndromes. It is what leads to your #2.
2. Something radically innovative in itself could be a hard sell.
-> See #1. It this solves a problem it could mean several IT jobs on the line, or "just give my department more money and we'll solve it" or whatever. I'll completely agree, a radically innovative product is going to be a hard sell and undoubtedly one of the reasons why we have yet to see something concrete. Whatever the association is with Gorgal is, I think something will come of it.
3. No one is going to sign on without significant testing and according to Rafael that can take at least 9-12 months depending on the application and longer if its a governmental application.
-> Agree again and that's where Gorgal came in again. One has to think that testing has been ongoing for quite some time via the other entities associated with VLDI and hopefully to the point that the 9-12 month time period you state is long in the past.
4. It is not the cure all, but it should have a market niche, whether big or small yet to be determined.
-> I've always been inclined to believe that any claim as a cure-all was always based on protecting the data. I have never believed that they were to take the place of detection and protection network devices or services. But, data is not a market niche, it is nearly everything. One hacks a network for what? To say they got in? No, they are after the PII data that can be sold. If the data is rendered useless, is network detection needed? Of course the answer is yes but the data is the bulk of the market and not a niche. DDOS attacks and the like are of course excluded from "data" but IMO in today's world, it is the data that hackers are after.
5. Most importantly VLDI needs exposure and to build market awareness among the experts, which he suggested to Bruce to attend the RSA cyber security conference in April, where he will be as well.
-> Agree again. Gorgal is a good start.
I'm going back into the doghouse for a while now, it's cold outside.
Somewhere in a post from my long ago past I too questioned how this company manages to stay in business and used that as one of my reasons for remaining with it. To this day I don't have an answer other than that they continue to remain in business and have actually reached the point of showing that the VP product actually has some merit via R Gorgal.
This company continues to survive and find money from somewhere and at this point it looks like they might actually find some entity out there that will make use of VP. One would have to speculate that it would come via a company that has an association with Gorgal because at the moment that's all I see.
It may be small (whatever, whoever, whenever) but it would be a start and one that I'm now waiting on something from that relationship to show itself one of these days.
It is certainly not me. But it would be nice if they did actually do something with this.
Quite an ending for a penny stock on the last day of the trading year. Happy New Year everyone. I don't have much left but have been still watching for what I have.
IMO, any decent increase in share price will come when the opiod "emergency" has some money behind it. I made that statement a while back just prior to the emergency being declared. No money, nadda for BICX. And then of course BICX would need to be the recipient of some of that.
Money, money, money, whether generated by a product that is finally able to generate some revenue because insurance companies are finally willing to pay, or whether it is a grant from the Feds, or some state steps up and BICX isn't giving the procedure away as a PR gesture. SHOW ME THE MONEY!!
Why do I want QUTR? Oh wait, I don't! Will take it as a tax loss for 2018 I'm sure so here I still wait.
Thanks for posting surwin, good questions with good responses. Maybe with this endorsement VLDI will attend some cyber conference in the future.
You too "dog". :):) It is regrettable but they just never found enough funds to push themselves out into the marketplace. IMO, InterSystems and HFACS (?) either do not understand the software in order to effectively sell it or don't think it is worth bundling with their products to sell it. Who knows.
No presents, more coal for this year. Go QUTR!!
The market shows who is "best of breed". LF needs to get this mess into use... by any company willing to use it.
One just might suspect that RG could very well be rather busy with whatever reason he is dealing with VLDI for to be able to take the time to respond to your admittedly tough questions.
I take nothing negative from the fact that you have not received a response.
Come on LF, pour on the coal!! MOAR coal please!!
More coal for me and my friends LF. Might as well just kill this pig and eat it.
rocketman, awesome post and glad to see that you get what the product is all about, the protection of the data. This is a complimentary product for the other products and services out there to render the data useless should a hacker break down the firewalls, etc. Why bother wasting time breaking in if what you get out is useless? Companies or government agencies not using Validian Protect (VP) would make for better targets.
Considering the US government's hack of OPM, it was the PII data on those government workers that was relevant. Now think Social Security, IRS, HHS, etc. and who knows what other agencies that have PII data. Now add in all the governments on the face of this earth that perform similar functions and have similar PII data and the market moves well beyond "niche".
How much of that market, both public and private, can be capture by VP remains to be seen. This last PR is the beginning and it is regrettable that it has taken this long for it to come about. With all the major hacks that make headlines, one has to think that some company out there will also understand what is at stake and finally sign on the dotted line.
curveball, like your optimism on the "30 day" and "Won't be long. $$$$$$" thoughts. I think I'll put this on my XMas list, maybe Santa will be listening.
Please LF, can I have some more coal? It's getting real cold in here.
WOW! Quite the post coming from you. Regrettably I agree with the sentiment expressed.
But, but, this board wouldn't be any fun to read anymore. :) :)
I don't know if a company the size of Microsoft would be the first to take the leap of faith but considering that they had some 32 TB of Windows source code hacked, there would at least be some logic behind that thought. We can always dream.
"Could this firm be a 3rd party tester for a big time player?" Ya know, I just kept thinking the same thing for whatever reason. I've been here for way too long and this PR was finally some confirmation of the validity of the product. So, if VLDI isn't paying the company, who is, because he didn't run it through the paces just because he needed his name in a PR of a sub-penny stock. And it may be apparent, or maybe not, but it could be the big time player didn't want their name out there at this time.
30 days? I love that thinking but who knows, all I know is that I don't but I've been waiting a long time for the dice to stop rolling on this crap shoot.
Looks like another lump of coal for this year. :(
"With only $160.00 on the books....", yeah, think about that because the company still keeps on going and going. One has to wonder just who the believers are that keep financing this operation because it is why I continue to hang on to the cliff by my fingernails. Certainly they know more than I do so my speculative stake has remained intact despite flawed quarterly reports.
And then you can get a "new" pinto!!
That's even funny. :):) Gets a double smiley!
Last of the big spenders today. :)
That's been the key for years. I've stated it on more that a few occasions in the past.
Rocketship, time to climb aboard!!
Come on QUTR, let's get a move on!!
I would have to check and I know my old-timer's disease sets in but I think I recall the author indicating that he owns shares of VLDI in the last write up.
GO QUTR!!! Come on, you can do it!!!
The company will do just fine eventually. It is just a question of when. I've been here forever so trying to quantify "when" is simply an exercise in futility.
Like I thought, big emergency, no money. We'll have to wait it out and see what monies get transferred from other budgets (good luck with that) to fund these MAT companies. Hopefully BICX will get some but if this is anything like "shovel ready", we may have a longer wait than desired.
