The main difference is that this new deal is struck with long term shareholders and parties interested in long term success vs a company who only seemed interested in driving down the price. Still, at the end of the day "Dilution is dilution is dilution" - Diannedawn"
8-k coming soon. Contacted Dr. Sung... Confirmed they are in the process of drafting it.
It's still likely Typenex was doing the selling. They for their last ISSUANCE in March but still have plenty of shares to sell. The other question you pose is a good one though... Where did the money come from?
You're absolutely right... Management has always been proactive for the company. In the wake of trying to build the company, they've had to make some deals that don't really benefit the shareholders. Patience is key here. This is a great step for the shareholders, but I think patience is still key... The ride is not over, for better or worse.
This is valid, but I don't make my decisions based on people's personal opinions. Unfortunately, stocks are generally a game of emotions, and a lot of people likely are red in this one because of it. People who present the negative side of a company keep me emotionally neutral (and financially green). My point of that comment was mostly to take it all in, and not simply jump on the bandwagon with false hopes and no information. I have traded over 45 million TAUG shares in two years because I like to make money... Not wish or hope for it.
I'm not interested in going to war with you, but only two hours ago you posted "no more lies, no more false math". It's no secret you and Rawman have been going at it for quite some time. The good news is that Tauriga has managed to overcome this horrible deal, but there is plenty of proof that you constantly discredited rawman's (accurate) explanation of the deal... Which is probably why he kept reposting it... For other investors to understand.
I've been holding on and buying TAUG for two+ years... I'm longer than many here. I've seen bashers who trash TAUG for personal reasons, and hypers who do the same. Many do so with little to no DD, speculation, and emotions. I've seen the whole spectrum and I still maintain my position.
What I've seen in Rawman's posts is generally an overall negative tone, but never misinformation. He knows how to interpret the reports better than most and the math was not wrong. The deal was restructured... Thats why the PR was released.. Prior to the PR, everything posted regarding the Typenex deal was pretty accurate apart from a few personal opinions (like we all have).
I don't understand why people insist on killing the messenger, especially when his information is useful. The same thing happened to Johnny when he was trying to get Stella to improve the search engine optimization... I think it's worthwhile really understanding what people are saying... Like it or not, Rawman was pretty accurate and not misleading.
I think you've stressed this fact to its extent.. The math cannot be disputed; I understand the frustration behind people not understanding, but thank you for spelling it out so plainly. This post was worthy of a sticky, and anyone with questions should refer back to this explanation...
In all likelihood, the typenex deal should plague the share price till about October. This is an estimate based off the trend. Assuming a $15,000 per week sell-off, and an estimated 275k collected thus far, this should hold for another 20-ish weeks (i.e. Late October). If share price rebounds somehow, then obviously things change, but at current trend (excluding today), typenex won't be done for 5 months.
Those, Johnny, are T-trades. They occur during normal trading hours by MM, but don't get reported until after the trading session. After hours trading, like skidoo mentioned, does not happen on OTC.
Can't complain about nearly 15% green.
Napoleon Hill and James Allen, my personal favorite authors. Earl Nightingale and Paul Harvey, my personal favorite radio personalities... Coincidence?
.0118 and.0112*
I made that 235k buy at 3:55 to try and revive the share price. A minute later, it was whacked from.018 to.012
Of course you have an element of responsibility in your forward looking statements, but we're all on board with what you're speculating. A joint venture is pretty much what we all have our fingers crossed for. Thanks for addressing the board, and feel free to contribute as often as you like
No worries Shrimp. So many posts yesterday... Easy to get lost in them??
Johnny, I'm sorry you feel like you can't contribute your thoughts and opinions without being harassed. I think you have made some valid points, but why you get attacked is because you often focus on very specific aspects of what you wish was being addressed... There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but we all know how you feel and where you stand, so perhaps bringing something new or different to the table would fare better for you. I wish you good fortune and look forward to climbing Mt. TAUG with you man.
It's easy to get excited about this type of marketing, but how many times have you received something similar and immediately dismissed it as junk? I think this is a silly form of advertising.... But I agree that word of mouth is essential.
Looks like there's still a lot of indecision. I like yesterday's inverted hammer, but still need confirmation... Hopefully today will mark the beginning of a true reversal
Wow, no kidding.
About expexted for the 10-q... I'd have liked to see more revenue, but considering the site didn't launch on time, it's a decent number.
Tom, I try not to use terms like "hope" or "wish" to describe my investment strategy. I know there's always an emotional instrument involved when it comes to money, but my expectations in the company haven't changed; I still view days like yesterday as good buying opportunities. Honestly, it could have been panic selling, but I think it was simply Typenex holding the price down for a better share offering from Stella & Co. The volume was inconsistent and there was no news to justify it.
It would be nice to begin our forward march, but you have to wonder if this lack of communication is part of the strategy. I don't like it, but it's possible a lot of news hits at once...
We all knew there would be substantial pressure on the share price after the Typenex agreement last month.
I purchased Topicanna primarily to say that I support a company I'm invested in; I also happened to strain my pectoral the day I finally decided to order it. My order arrived today, and although the strain is nearly healed, I still have discomfort... So I used the cream.
I was surprised at how quick it provides relief. Within a minute I felt... Well... Better. The best comparison I can give is that of headache medicine. The pain isn't flicked off like a light switch, but rather slowly fades away.
It did return after a couple of hours, but not as intense. I am impressed with the product. I would recommend to anyone
Johnny, this is the wrong argument. With regard to the "dying" entity, if Investors suddenly pulled the plug on funding, then this would be an issue of marginal utility where $1 dollar of investment renders as useless as $0.
However, with regard to growth, any number larger than a previous one ought to be viewed as a positive. So far, the team has demonstrated the ability to secure funding (sometimes through dilutive measures), but your concerns don't seem to add up. I get it, you're confident you will make money in the long run, but for now, I don't see why it's such a hard thing for you to accept progress...
I believe someone raised this fact to Dr. Sung, and the response was that they were going to do something about search engine optimization... I won't claim to know how much it costs, how long of a process it is, or when they plan to do it, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to remind her about it... Her email is ssung@tauriga.com.
Anyone concerned about anything should contact her.
Johnny,
Just today I ordered Topicanna... I was order #6158 and I paid about $40. If everyone ordered only one product at $40, revenue since inception would be $246,320. Assuming not all orders consisted of one item, it's safe to say that number is higher. The site has only been up about a month and has already made at least $250k-ish.
Another assumption is that Tauriga will aim to increase their orders month over month, as is the goal in every business. Completing the MOU and exposure in general will attract interest in the products, and likely lead to a lot more orders.
I, like you, was also skeptical of the product line aspect until a couple of other members here shed light on the numbers. Whether those numbers offset other expenses remains to be seen, but the fact is that we now have tangible products... An extremely significant milestone for a company in the building stages. I still believe Pilus is worth sticking around for, but for now, the product line is something to be excited about.
Good numbers there Shrimp, and it's nice to imagine that sort of revenue stream. There are obviously costs associated with product manufacturing and distribution, but I imagine the pricing is designed to overcome that.
Whether or not the product line breathes life into the company, I believe their end goal is to fund Pilus development... Those contracts could potentially be worth tens of millions.
I re-read the 8k with more patience to realize your accuracy. This agreement is either very bullish or very desperate... Maybe both, but I hope it is the former. Assuming the conditions of the settlement agreement are met, current share prices would realize about 100% gain before shares become unrestricted.
The BOD clearly views this company as a home-run hitter, and perhaps dilution vs. debt is the better approach. No debating the immediate affects, and 2015 looks to be another ebb and flood year unless Pilus takes off.
Thanks for reaching out and getting an explanation. I understand TAUG gets private placement at a premium, but it also sounds like that money will be gone as soon as restrictions are lifted. We could see SP retreat again in the future... Assuming it moves up
Hmm.. Lehman Brothers...
Johnny, I like your optimism and enthusiasm. I wish I was as bullish in my predictions as you are, but I don't believe this share structure supports a true run at $3/sh... Even $1 seems more than just a couple of years off.
We have no debt because we have funded our projects by issuing restricted shares. These shares were given at low prices in exchange for funding, and they cannot be sold for 6-12 months (example). As soon as those restrictions are lifted, assuming the SP is improved, those investors will likely take their profits, thus repeating the cycle we've been in for quite some time. Very difficult for a company to sustain sp at this level when they receive funding in this manner
Granted, TAUG has the capability to transcend this cycle with Pilus success, but I keep bringing up share structure for a reason... A billion+ shares for a company this small is too volatile to sustain a $1+ sp.... IMO IMO IMO
Other OTC companies with higher share prices, larger floats, more debt, and less to show for themselves are overvalued and incredibly risky plays. I like Tauriga precisely because of its honest share price.... IMO IMO
Even if Pilus was an overnight success and tomorrow Stantec (for example) wanted to purchase TAUG outright, they'd have to pay about 2 billion dollars if we, as share holders, were to expect our shares to be worth $1 each. Is TAUG worth $2B? Maybe, but probably not yet. IMO
I'm not a professional, so I'm sure my numbers are off, but you get the idea. I like your optimism, but realistically I'd be happy to see us get back to .10 and hold. If we can sustain .10 or better for at least a year, I think a restructuring would be a great consideration to get us trading on a different exchange and attract a whole new class of investors.
You're right... I just added 200k more. I'll take .05 and up
We'd be lucky to see $1 at this share structure... IMO
I just Google "Tauriga store", "Topicanna" and "pilus"...
Actually I mistakenly typed Tauriga Storr and Google asked if I meant store
Each search was done from a clear browser history, and each search generated proper results.
I'm not saying anything, I'm just saying...
It appears, according to the link darth yoda posted, the Omni reactor does in fact produce electricity. I still favor the bactobot solution...
I agree with much of what you're saying. I am going to purchase the products because I want to reserve my final judgement for after their use, but labeling is odd, and I really find it hard to believe the products can compete with others at this price point.
I'm glad things are up and running, though... Hopefully it us as successful as planned
I apologize for misreading you. Perhaps if I knew you personally, I'd know the difference between sincerity and (accused) deception. So please accept my apology, and thank you for sharing.
Tauriga Sciences Inc. Announces the Launch of Its taurigastore.com eCommerce Website
Thursday January 8, 2015 (Los Angeles, CA) -- Tauriga Sciences, Inc. (OTCQB: TAUG) ("Tauriga" or the “Company"), a diversified life sciences company with interests in the natural wellness sector and in developing a proprietary synthetic biology platform technology, today launched its http://www.taurigastore.com eCommerce website. This launch allows consumers to shop online with the Company for its non-cannabis containing line of natural wellness dietary supplements. These natural supplements include IndiCalm, natural calming formula without inducing cognitive impairment; ClearNaze, a natural decongestant without stimulant or drowsiness effects; Satietiva, an amino acid-based appetite suppressant (preorder until February 2); and Mend? Can, a highly pure, potent and palatable Omega 3 supplement.
Tauriga’s Chairman & CEO Dr. Stella Sung stated, “We’re thrilled to launch our http://www.taurigastore.com eCommerce web site. It is a major milestone for our Company because it will enable us to start building our revenue stream with products we proudly believe will be a welcome solution for enhancing healing and lifestyle. Entering the online channel provides us with an additional opportunity for growth as well as an important opportunity to develop a closer relationship with our consumers by better understanding their product preferences and by having another avenue for communication. We believe these valuable insights will help us improve our consumers’ experiences with all of our products and will be useful input for our new product development strategy.”
In addition to Tauriga’s non-cannabis containing line of natural wellness dietary supplements, Tauriga recently launched its proprietary topical medicinal cannabis cream branded as TopiCanna. Many who have used topical cannabis creams have reported decreased musculoskeletal pain. TopiCanna is designed to provide potential natural wellness and healing properties without narcotic effects. TopiCanna’s key ingredient is cannabidiol (CBD) oil from non-GMO industrial hemp that is grown without pesticides, herbicides, or chemical fertilizers. The oil has been lab tested for quality and is natural, safe and legal in the United States. In addition to the CBD oil from non-GMO industrial hemp, the lotion contains ingredients for soothing dry skin, including shea butter and apricot kernel oil. TopiCanna is not offered through the http://www.taurigastore.com eCommerce web site, but interested parties may inquire about TopiCanna at info@tauriga.com.
Tauriga’s Chief Medical Officer Lawrence A. May, M.D. commented, “I am pleased that we are offering these formulations through eCommerce. The initial anecdotal feedback from my patients has been consistently positive. Several of our products are being offered for the first time outside of physicians’ offices, and online sales will allow Tauriga to reach more people who could derive benefit from our supplements in supporting well-being and enhancing function.”
I appreciate the response, and I don't entirely disagree. I know I'm in the minority when I say I don't have a Facebook page, but nothing is more official than a PR. If the FB or 420i response was posted on the website, that would be a different story.
Whatever the case, I think if Seth is going to expose himself to ihub, its our prerogative to express our thoughts. I find people listen better to those who disagree, and he ought to hear more than just "great job". All in all, I would not be here if I wasnt satisfied with progress.
You're right, there's nothing official about Facebook
