I haven't seen or heard from Afford for some time now. Does anyone know what happened to him? He used to be a regular contributor to this board.
Would you please help to confine the discussion on this board to NWBO...
When is this company going to openly communicate with us stockholders?
Take a few minutes to read this message from Dr. Linda Liau
http://neurosurgery.ucla.edu/chairs-welcome
And from whom did you hear that LP was a no show at the conference today?
'Preciate it...
I can't email them right now because I don't even know the name of the symposium where these presentations will take place. So, again, does anyone know if her presentation will be webcast?
Does anyone know if Linda's presentation this wednesday afternoon will be a webcast?
Count me in also. I 've been long for years...
Go to NWBO's web site. There's a new PR they just released.
Interesting profile of Mr. Elliott Leary on LinkedIn website. He has 30 years service with the FBI and focuses on fraud and misconduct investigations....

Don't know if this has been posted before but it's a moving testimonial to the survivors of GBM that sometimes gets lost in the fog of NWBO's stock price swings...
Very well done, Sentiment. Easy to read. Easy to understand. Thank you so much for your work. Really appreciate it.
One of my granddaughters got married last month.
Coupla years and it'll be Great Grand Poppy....
My how time flys....
I've been a part of the NWBO family since last Fall. Not anywhere near as long as many on this board.
But addressing the communication issue being batted around lately, I easily understand the concern expressed by some and maybe even LP herself about not saying too much because that increases the odds of AF and crew slamming NW.
I really do.
I mean I cannot stand AF and family because even though the damage may only be temporary, it is damage nonetheless. And I have invested some money in NW for one of my sons. I don't know when he may decide to move elsewhere with his money. And so even a temporary stock price dip can effect someone I love.
So I can understand the motive to shy away from giving Adam any ammo. And probably the best way is to just shut up about company affairs.
I understand that. I really do.
But I always prefer to work with companies that lay it all out on the table so that everyone (yes, even AF and family) can see exactly what direction this company is moving so we all can make a well educated decision on what to do with our investments.
Now Linda is a well educated lady who has so far as I can discern done an able job with this company. And reading her bio I cannot ask for a better pilot to steer this ship.
And I believe she can communicate effectively to inform us all of what is happening with this company.
And that, to me, goes a very long way towards establishing the trust that I need to give her my money to help her and our company succeed.
Trust is only maintained when everything is laid out.
Now I know because of the legalities involved with a growing biotech involved in testing new, often times, deadly medical procedures that the FDA has laid out strict, unbending guidelines that must under all circumstances be adhered to or the months and sometimes years of experimental expenses and work will be thrown into the trash heap of history.
I know that.
We all know that.
But I have confidence in Linda's business acumen to where I believe she can communicate to us effectively.
I really do.
We all know there are certain topics that for the time being cannot be discussed.
We all know that.
And Linda knows that.
And I have more than enough confidence in her being able to speak to us clearly about that which she is able.
Maybe my problem is I have more confidence in her than she has in herself?
Regardless, I think she needs to do a much better job of telling us what is happening with OUR company.
So my trust with her at the helm will be strengthened.
Your post is a perfect example of SOME questions whose answers can easily be communicated to us.
And there are many more.
And yet they decline to keep us informed.
Thank you
Thanks...
And by this I mean a paid employee of the company who is involved in the day to day activities of NW.
And who communicates to the owners (us stock holders) and the public.
This is not happening with this company.
My name is not funny.
It's the name my grandkids have given me. And I love them very much and have taken the name they gave me for most all of my internet communications.
But referencing back to my original thought, I strongly believe this company needs a communication spokesperson.
Period.
You're 100% wrong.
I am an alpha male and I speak with knowledge and extensive experience in the cut-throat business world.
I was for all of my working life a manager for one of the largest international companies in the world. And as such, I know what I'm talking about concerning successful business practices.
I am just really disappointed in the lack of communication that comes from NWBO.
I am familiar with and used to dealing with companies that openingly lay out their goals, the paths to those goals, any foreseen obstacles and dates approximate to reach those goals.
That communication, as much as I love this company, is lacking.
As an example of this we only have to look at the posts on this board.
I think as investors, some small, some huge but nonetheless people who have invested in this company significant portions of their life savings, as partial owners of this company, are due better knowledge of the comings and goings of NWBO.
I mean communications as simple as monthly teleconferences with open Q's and A's can go a long way in that direction. I know there are some issues that can't be discussed openly due to the nature of the tests being conducted but there are many, many questions that can be answered that have been plaguing the posters to this board for months.
And, I believe, seriously an effective Communication Czar can and would move this forward.
And that is why I mentioned Phyrr.
There are many yintelligent, highly effective communicators out there and on this board.
And I would put you in that category also.
Just next time I post, remember, I am a man.....
I agree with you 100%.
I love the goals this company is striving to reach.
But the cut-throat nature of the world of stock investment in which we live necessitates an in-your-face, type A personality at the communications helm of this company. And there exists none.
I know there is someone that is designated as responsible for company communications.
And I know NWBO has to walk a tight-wire to keep the legal hyenas at bay.
But that falls under the aegis of a communications officer. And that currently is a failure for this company.
After reading this board for these past several months, I personally believe there could be no better communications rep for this company than Phyrr.
With his concise grasp of the inner workings of the tests NWBO is conducting, his posts on this board and lastly his doctoral thesis on NWBO that he presented to Seeking Alpha, I truly believe he's our man.
And as badly as we've been floundering lately with the likes of our nemesis' (all shorters) communication director AF...stein, whacking away at us every time a ray of positive sunshine beams down on us, we are in dire need of a knowledgable, intelligent, well spoken / written communications czar,
I nominate the aforementioned Phyrr.
Do I hear a second?
Fascinating...
Interesting article on NWBO by Larry Smith
http://smithonstocks.com/northwest-biotherapeutics-the-perfect-storm-may-be-brewing-for-short-sellers-nwbo-7-66-buy-free-content/
Check out NWBO's website. Looks like they just now finished fancying it up. I like the new look.
Good one!!!
This "stock halt" shows me how jumpy we all are right now. And this is because of the clear lack of communication from LP and family. I mean we're an inch away from ASCO and we all expected to see a much inflated level of confidence in NWBO and the stock price.
But it seems like there is just this negative air wafting around this board.
Someone at NWBO should take investor relations with the seriousness that we deserve.
Have you contacted a trader at ETrade about this stock halt on NWBO and if so what did he say?
I use Fidelity for my trades and there is not a store halt on NWBO. The trader said it may be something specific to ETrade
How can a European company make the same product NWBO makes and what are the ramifications to NW?
My goodness... This is so well done and so captivating in its reasoning that I had to respond with a note of sincere appreciation for all of your work and brain sweat that went into this doctoral dissertation on the pioneering frontiers of oncology. I mean while reading your work you made me feel like I was on a miniaturized Starship Enterprise coursing through the veins of investigative oncology.
Thank you again very much for all of your hard work.
Why doesn't NWBO's legal head address A F...stein directly?
