is working, sorta kinda.

Thanks B2F. Your analysis is incredibly valuable to me and trying to learn it. It’s currently like reading Tarot cards to me.
With a potential 30 billion plus market, I have to agree. I'll hold on to after NASDAQ. Once it's listed this will be pushed even higher. Those 90+ machines are producing something for Liquidmetal and looking forward to the next press release.
Do I understand this correctly - a patent for continuous feed versus shots? Wow.
It’s already in there and trying to get it out!
Again, thanks kindly for sharing your analysis.
Plastic will also do the job. I had something similar from another company. It was a meh for me, but maybe Apple will do some thing novel with the tech.
There was a lot of excitement at the time because LiquidMetal is a perfect fit for the Apple Watch. It didn’t happen as we all know - aluminum was cheaper and the stainless steel upgrade worked well. However, both require a lot of finishing and wonder if now our production cost is less than at least the stainless steel version.
In their next major revision, they want mini-LEDs and 5G. They need better radio wave transparency, heat dissipation, more health sensors, plus make the case thinner and durable. This was always my #1 hope for a LiquidMetal application.
I’ll just go with the standard LiquidMetal metallic color.
Not me, I’ll be buying the LiquidMetal version of the Apple Watch. ??
It’s definitely different and no question about that. We have reached commercialization. The thing is, without corporate news and PRs, I am not sure how sturdy the legs are at the moment. Trading activity seems to be sliding already. I appreciate Watts sharing his perspective.
I think this will only last a few months until 3QTR is reported..... but a PR can happen at any time, so it’s just anybody’s guess. I think a big payoff is eminent.
Thanks Watts. Machts nichts as I am holding, but if it does dip I might be tempted to load more shares. If we go a couple of months with no more news from the company... well, I’ve seen this play out before. It’s turned into a real crap shoot. Looking forward to seeing how B2F views this in a few days.
Love it, thanks for sharing.
60,000/month; 720,000/yr
It's anyone's guess on profit per part, but looking at their website makes me think it's potentially a handsome amount of cash. Another hopeful prospect in the "who is our customer" game.
Thanks for sharing. I am not sure what it means, but at least we are in there.
Thanks kindly, as always!
Thanks for sharing. Good stuff.
Yep, I know this and it aligns with a current production patent, but I am not sure this means anything at the moment. I guess we will see.
Yeah, I guess it doesn't make much difference except when you are a really long long. I am seriously expecting this to climb back to NASDAQ, I don't know when, but we are now in the commercialization phase. Level 2 isn't showing much activity, so perhaps MMs took their cash out. Maybe sentiment will now drive this for awhile. From what we have seen , a PR can pop up at any time, so maybe those remaining will hold on until the next financial report.
Thanks for this, and Watts, too. This is interesting stuff and wonder if you have a good book to read on the subject. Your perspectives on LiquidMetal are always appreciated. Even though you can’t discern what’s happening from the charts, it does tell me that it is anybody’s game.
Thanks for posting this. I’ll take thirty cents on sentiment, and perhaps that is what is happening. There are enough watchers out there that understand this transition from discovery to commercialization is important and is leading to the company running in the black. They also know there are at least 90 machines pumping out product, or soon to be pumping out product.
Personally, I don’t think this has anything to do with Apple. Watts sent a Forbes article about the Apple iPhone launch, but there was another link to the design. That article claims the use of “aerospace” aluminum for the frames. We will see, but either way, I believe this is going to have continued momentum.
I am looking forward to our own LiquidMetal reveal of who are the customers receiving products and our revenue.
All we know is what is in the press release above. It’s significant in that we have moved from “discovery” phase to commercialization. That’s a huge deal.
Yeah, I am liking this theory. B2F may sleuth something out. Or somebody else. If it’s true, this will steadily climb. You know the Chinese and how this works. Once a trend starts, they’ll all get in it.
Dollar land isn’t looking so far off to me now.
It’s not looking that way. Usually we start to see the mm’s working but it just keeps going up. I’ll take 10% every day, thank you very much.
Watts - your theory could fit. We’ve discussed the role of Chinese investors here some time ago - maybe now somebody has seen a reason to jump in. Some factory worker(s) told others and it’s growing exponentially. Or something like that. I am looking forward to tomorrow.
I think I read that at the other place maybe? Something about sixty cents. Maybe I was liquored, lol. Anyway, looking for add to your next analysis.
That’s great that you volunteer. Seems like a relaxing thing to do.
Congrats Watts! I can’t stop thinking about Gorgol in all this.
I am sorry B2F is out today. I wonder how his sixty cent prediction is shaping up.
Maybe we ARE going to thirty by the end of the week. I may need to have a pacemaker installed.
Up tens of thousands in ten minutes. Insane.
No joke. Or the ones that sold in the tens.
Exactly, and why I am waiting for that day. There will be plenty of investors that hop out before that, but when we hit the big board, big blocks of shares can be sold and big money can be had.
I worked for one of the BoD members from Bosch for three years. Initially we butted heads until I opened my mind and learned how he communicated. I learned so much from that guy. Same thing here - I am learning so much from all of you. This is a great forum to exchange our thoughts. For so many months on end that is all we had. Now we have this PR and we are hanging a lot of hopes and dreams on it. I have been down this road before counting chickens before they are hatched. It’s can be crushing to me. The first huge crush was the run up on Apple Watch rumors. I bought somebody a nice Rolex on that one. I am trying not to get too excited here, but as mentioned before, I’ve been accumulating. I work in advanced manufacturing R&D and have always believed in this material. There are still lots of questions that haven’t been answered for me, but believe we have crossed the “valley of death”. That’s a well-used description for commercialization of discovery R&D. Very few companies can bridge that gap. For all of the moaning about Steipp, he kept the company alive, sold off parts and diluted it to keep it going, forged an R&D agreement with Apple, and eventually found the right person to take it across the line. We are now in production. What is being produced, for whom, and our cut of the pie are still big remaining questions. But honestly, they don’t matter that much because just reaching commercialization is a huge deal. Perhaps I just answered my own question about why this is rocketing. It’s just so hard for me to believe others can see it, too, after all this waiting, ups and downs, and seeing investors come and go.
Insane, right? Now you have me thinking about that sixty cents!!!
Yeah, not all posts all are gems, but that’s the same with me. He causes me to think, and that’s a good thing. Having worked in a collaborative R&D environment for years, I’ve learned to value all opinions and try to take something from all encounters.
I hope nobody throws up what I was writing a month ago. Egad, I was not a happy camper.
Why do you 1) keep inferring that I sold shares when I repeatedly write that I have not, and 2) refer to Watts as my friend when I have repeatedly stated that we only know each other from the board?
Yes, but Watts has me thinking and now believe that I overstated the situation. I was caught up in the excitement for sure. After months and months of no communication and in the sevens, it was huge to me. Anyway, doesn’t matter - in it to win it.
You really think so? Okay then, let’s see. Anyway we get to four bucks a share is fine for me.
Well, let's see where we are tomorrow. I may write that again!
In the back of my mind, could that weekend Twitter feed be fueling this? If there is no announcement tonight, will this crash tomorrow? It's just wait and see time.
Anyway, not selling, so thanks for your deep concern for my welfare.
Okay, I'll bite. Yes, and I purchased more shares at that time, too. The reason why I purchased shares was that Prof. Li was a successful manufacturing entrepreneur and thought he would set up LiquidMetal production. I felt that is where the big money could be made. Research my posts and that's what you will see.
However, Lake Forest production was shut down and we are back to being an IP company and using contract manufacturers. That's still okay with me given who we partnered with, their potential capacity, etc., but the paradigm of the 30 cents from then has changed. In my head, I cannot equate the two.
After all these years in this stock and the dilution, it seems like a big jump to me on this PR. I did expect a rise, but it has far exceeded my expectations. Something else must be at play, and wonder what it is. Is it MM's, or is there some real pending news? There are some 90 machines ready to pump out product, but is that happening now?
I keep going back to "... securing our first orders for recurring, volume, deliveries of functional parts utilizing our technology," but wonder why they couldn't have added a word like "significant orders" or "high volume". This is where Watts post keeps me thinking.
It's just confusing.
No, I am not Watts - although I have been accused twice of being him. Lol! Watts knows me and I am sure he gets a chuckle out of that, too. We are not friends, but we did both attend a Liquidmetal event together - you were in York at the Engle event, right Watts? Anyway, he knows me from my professional profile and years of sharing this board together.
So my portfolio is up tens of thousands of dollars on the management commentary alone? There is no mention to whom, or how much. We have a customer(s), product(s) is shipping. We are part of a supply chain, and so on. I get it and throwing the post back to me doesn't answer the question. It seems TO ME that this spike is more than what that PR should have generated. I did expect it to go up, but double? Anyway, I'll just let you all to it and watch what happens.
Why would you write that? I've been very clear that I am a long with a ton of shares. I am just not drinking this Kool-aid, or whatever it is. Maybe somebody believes in that Twitter feed from last weekend? Does every post need to be from the happy wagon, or can some posts question what is happening?
