There was a lot of excitement at the time because LiquidMetal is a perfect fit for the Apple Watch. It didn’t happen as we all know - aluminum was cheaper and the stainless steel upgrade worked well. However, both require a lot of finishing and wonder if now our production cost is less than at least the stainless steel version.

In their next major revision, they want mini-LEDs and 5G. They need better radio wave transparency, heat dissipation, more health sensors, plus make the case thinner and durable. This was always my #1 hope for a LiquidMetal application.
