Hey Clay Just wanted to let you know Im doing robotic trading now and its going really good, the chapter on candlesticks is an eye opener! One question, on stockcharts.com do you have to be a member to get the hourly or minute time frames? I am only getting the daily time frames on my computer. Anyway Im really glad I bought the course, it is really well done.
Glad I got back in yesterday, Im over the GNC thing, lesson learned.
Or if you bought 1000 shares @.04 you would have 40 dollars worth of shares, if those same shares go up to .08, you have 80 dollars worth of shares, that I believe is a increase of 100%, just got your message saying those trades were unexecuteable, there was definitely the chance to buy at the low to mid 4s, and the current price reflects about a 80% increase from that point.
If you double your share price, you are increasing by 100%...correct? Todays low was .04 and doubled to .08, that is a 100% increase not 50%.
if you bought shares at the low of .04 then sold at the high of .08, then you would make 100% profit, correct? My message were to people that were smart enough to buy the low and hold or sell, either way there was the chance to earn 80% today.
Congrats to all who made 80% on the dip today, there are some very skilled traders on this board, Im still learning as I go...too much emotion from me about the GNC deal falling through, still made 30%, but could have done much better, oh well, I will have dry powder in a couple days to consider getting back in. Congrats again...its good to make money!
I agree, there was a certain legitimacy to having a contract with a company trading on the big boards, and it is amateurish to cancel a deal because you dont like the terms, after announcing its successful completion to your shareholders, this nosedive is a direct result of that decision. IMO
The GNC deal getting cancelled by FITX, in my opinion, was inexcusable. I sold yesterday and my post was deleted, not sure why. My business theory is this, you sign a contract, thats that. If you dont like the terms after the fact, too bad, take the hit, gain some exposure and live for a better deal another day. One of the things that I liked about FITX was the GNC deal, it showed me they could make deals with big players. The open house I thought was an honest mistake by a enthusiastic management team, cancelling GNC, was wrong. JMO. I will be standing by watching FITX and hoping they are going to complete the license process, as promised. glta obviously the longs that remain are some tough cookies, I wish you the best.
the document has to be signed by senior municipal officials and submitted prior to receiving preapproval, which the company has already been granted.
I also enjoyed reading section 9 of your link
Section 9: Notice to Local Government, Police and Fire Authorities
Prior to submitting an application to become a licensed producer of marihuana for medical purposes, the applicant must provide a written notice to local authorities to inform them of their intention to submit an application. The notice must include the applicant's name, the activities for which the licence is sought (i.e. that activities are to be conducted in respect of cannabis), the site address (and of each building on the site, if applicable) at which the applicant proposes to conduct those activities, as well as the date when the application will be submitted to Health Canada.
In the application to become a licensed producer of marihuana for medical purposes, please identify the name, title and address of the senior official for each of the following local authorities, as well as the date when the notification was provided:
the local police force or Royal Canadian Mounted Police detachment responsible for providing policing services to the area in which the proposed site is located;
the local fire authority of that area; and
the local government (e.g., municipality) of that area.
The Senior Person in Charge must sign the declaration in this section confirming that they have provided the required notice to local authorities. A copy of each notice must be provided with the application.
The senior official from the local government must sign off on the proposed activities being performed at the site, prior to applying for a license...no zoning problem here.
Nice post Tiki,
Its looks to me that the main hurdles for license are fence, security monitoring systems, air filtration system, and final inspection. I believe the license is much closer than many people realize, one reason I wouldnt risk selling earlier to get a quick buck...dont want to miss this train when it leaves the station.
Im sure all the exceptions, if needed, had to be applied for. I wonder if you or anyone that claims there is a need for an exception could just post a link that proves the company has been notified for a need of exception or variance because their business operation description violates current zoning requirements. That would at least would show the company has to get a variance to do business, without that there is no issue.
Ok I will give it one more try, assuming you are correct, and the company needs a zoning exception, on pages 198 to 211 there are 13 pages of businesses that operate in a type A, Agricultural zone. The list of businesses include a waste treatment facility, a canning company, a concrete and asphalt company, a pole barn manufacturer, a trucking company....the list goes on and on. So the Town of Lakeshore would have a hard time explaining why its ok to treat waste, produce asphalt and concrete, and can goods, but not ok to grow, harvest, package and deliver a plant. Also the property adjoining, up to route Highway 401, is coded blue for employment.
In the Agricultural zone, uses allowed section, they allow for processing and packaging product that is produced. See below
The following provisions shall apply to an agricultural use –
b) the majority of the product processed, preserved, packaged and/or stored
shall be from the farm;
You have a real bad memory, here is your quote from your earlier post which mentions the word zoning, you were insinuating there was a zoning problem, now your saying you werent saying that, Im not sure I can take anything you say very seriously if your going to deny having a position because you cant prove it to be true.
Quote:
The company is leasing property off North Rear Road near Highway 401 that is zoned agricultural and was going to be used by its original owner, Jim Shaban, for a film studio. There is a large barn and smaller house on the property with an adjoining editing suite. Federal corporate information has CEN Biotech listing the North Rear Road address as its corporate headquarters and Bahige (Bill) Chaaban as the company’s sole director.
Dennis Sylvestre, a contractor but not an investor in the company, applied for a permit to build a 53,000-square foot steel structure on the North Rear Road property. The building is valued at $800,000.
“The company is entitled to build a barn and fencing,” said Steve Salmons, the town’s director of community and development services. “What occurs in that barn is a zoning question.
Since then the town has given CEN Biotech a building permit to put up an agricultural building.
Nothing in this quote of yours proves they will any problem doing business as currently zoned.
now you changed the subject again because your accusation was without proof or merit, thats settles that issue, FITX doesnt have a zoning problem...full speed ahead, GO FITX!
Your rambling again, and off subject, please just prove there is a zoning problem or dont say there is...thanks.
Your answer is very similar to the other one I got, there is no proof or link that proves FITX has a violation of zoning issue. I think the person that accused FITX of having a zoning violation should take your advice and try to prove his case, after all he is the accuser. I am ok with the current state of the zoning of FITX. Thanks for your advice, my a recommendation is that Newmedman take it. Gotta go get food talk later.
Again your assuming they need a variance, not proving theyre in violation of zoning laws, my contention is that they are not in violation of current zoning laws, and you have not provided a link to prove that they are in violation of current zoning laws. You are assuming they are in violation and need a variance, I disagree.
The last time I checked you grow marihuana, not manufacture it, therefore an agriculture building used for growing a product would be proper for this zoning classification.
"Since then the town has given CEN Biotech a building permit to put up an agricultural building."
Sounds like a go to me. If I am incorrect please post a link that proves they are in violation of the zoning reg. for that location. Thanks.
I can wait....Im a patient man
Your right I wasnt sure how far along the fence job was...just wishful thinking on my part
I hope they announce a license attained after close to blow this thing up on Monday....Go Fitx!!!!!
Sorry for the no reply, I ran out of posts. I think that is a reasonable price target assuming all goes as planned, execution is the key here , the market is going to grow rapidly, in all directions, from pharmacueticals to consumables and FITX is positioned perfectly to take advantage of that.
My best to them, its good to see people making money, thats what this is all about!
Thats what any big project needs, time and hard work, Im not going anywhere either, I want to see this project to completion, holding my original shares the whole way.
I will be around for much more than a month, as that will be when this project will be getting very hot and heavy, FITX getting it done!
Im invested here and very glad I am, I see no scam, as you put it, nothing but hard working intelligent people trying to succeed, I really hope they do.
Thanks Husker I am confident in my choice...the future looks bright to me.
I see good health products being sold online, a product line that will soon be offered at GNC, a nationally known health product company, I see new products being developed for a growing mm industry and the ambition to start a production facility where it is legal to grow medical marijuana, Canada, I see buildings being built and contracts being signed with legitimate companies like Growlife, there are so many positives to see, just read, do some due diligence, and picture a very profitable future...welcome to FITX my friend!
Another good example of keeping the stockholders informed I really appreciate that!
There is a lesson so many of you need to learn...we are all adults who have done their DD and believe in what we invested in and are glad we bought into FITX, at least I know I am. What I have learned in life is to trust my gut and my gut says FITX is a go, so thanks to everyone who cares so much for my financial welfare(tongue firmly in cheek), but IM really good with my decision to invest in FITX and time will tell how good this company is.
I second that!
you have no idea what your talking about, and no possible way of knowing FITX will or wont get a license
me too it clicked lower in the last couple hours must be a faulty app
I have .11 on TD after close chart
Maimonis,
Thanks for the audio, great job!
Thanks to all that attended the open house and posted information, I am so glad I found this blog, I have learned a lot from the lively back and forth, a healthy debate is the best way to learn. Thanks again to all contributors. GLTA
"In January CEN Biotech announced its desire to set up a facility in Lakeshore"
1) CEN-BIOTECH:
This subsidiary is involved in production and distribution of medical marijuana, and is based in Lakeshore, Ontario, just outside Windsor in Canada.
"The City of Windsor is starting to look at the possibility of businesses setting up shop to produce medical marijuana....
if a company wants to produce medicinal marijuana here, it has to be in an area that is already zoned as industrial."
"At the meeting, council heard a company called Medical Marihuana Patient Relief has taken that first step."
"They informed city officials of its intent to apply to become a licensed producer."
The company called Medical Marihuana Patient Relief is applying in the City of Windsor, a different company applying in a different city, with different zoning requirements.
The company would also have to contact fire, police and the city's chief building official before making an application to Health Canada.
Key phrase " before making an application to Health Canada"
Cen Biotech has already met the prerequirements of application and received a ready to build approval from Health Canada.
If you dont understand my post Im not sure how else to explain this to you. We are in the later stages of approval. Med. Mari Pat. Relief company is in the pre ready to build stages of approval, in a different city with different ordinances, I hope this helps you understand whats going on. Good Luck!
Reese,
Im happy to contribute now and then. GLTY
I wasnt addressing your post, I actually think you have a point, I didnt find the hemp products either, sometimes companies rush out their advertising for new products before they are available to send, not a smart move, but nothing that hasnt been done before. I also havent found their products on GNC website, but Im sure theyre on the way, new companies make mistakes gotta have patience, or address Cenergy directly on their facebook page, may get the response your looking for.
