Holding 23,435 myself. I started buying a bit later than some here. I've accepted the loss at this point, so any upswing this might see in the future is just a bonus.
I dunno about that. I sure don't want to see anyone happy who's shorting this stock.
Look at that climb! Put on your space suits, folks, we're commencing liftoff!
I knew this and I'm barely paying attention with everything else I've got going on (running 3 tech companies, maintaining a household, and otherwise having a life)...
Anyone here who didn't know this probably shouldn't be investing.
You have another investment in mind that will quadruple before then? If not, I'd say the 5 years is worth it.
Meh. Either way I make money, I just make less of it if I don't add there shares at 0.009... I'll live.
For dipping for a day or two? We won't.
LUL I've got my order in for more at $0.009 so f it let's do this. Doooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn we goooooooooooooooooooo.
Not like we won't bounce back.
Why are we tanking today? Not complaining, as it's an opp to buy more, but... why? Who do I thank?
The weak hands have all left, so there's nobody selling, and we've all bought what we can afford. Now we're just waiting for new eyeballs and new money, I wouldn't expect much on that front until the first harvest, then more when construction begins at CM.
Wow! Glad I picked up more shares yesterday, then!
You and me both, buddy.
I can see it both ways, but if you add during a period of relative flat pricing, or in a dip, you own a lot more when it takes off. That's more money in the bank at the end of the journey.
I also didn't say anything about not wanting growth as I add; I actually specifically mention slow and steady growth being a positive for someone who's still adding to their position, versus a sudden climb.
Cracking .03 this year would really suck for me, as I'll miss out on the position I'm slowly but surely building. If it happens, I'll take it and I'll be happy for what profit I see as a result, but an early sharp climb is never good for the longs. At least, not as good as a slow and steady upward trend, because the latter allows for incremental purchasing, which is the only option some of us who aren't flush with investable cash have.
You really didn't disagree with me. OTC stocks *run* on cash flow, they *jump* on hype. The difference, of course, being that you actually get somewhere running, but you always fall back down after a jump.
I'm not here to argue about this, as only time will tell (and it WILL) which of us is correct. We're both on the same side, here, I'm definitely long PGUS, but it is important to keep in mind how the market actually works.
We're buying shares of the company; the value of those shares is tied to the value of the company. The company isn't worth any more or less whether every share has sold, not a single share has sold, or at any point in between. The company's value comes from cash flow, which we'll see soon enough, when those peppers come out of the ground.
Don't expect this over 0.03 this year, but do expect it to break 1.00 in the next decade. If that's not the ride you're prepared for, perhaps you're in the wrong place, but I would never advise someone to sell this stock (even if it does mean cheaper shares for me), just buckle up and read a good book while you wait for lift-off.
We'll get there, just nowhere near as soon as you seem to think. That's a *good* thing, as it means we all have longer to build out positions!
You know as well as I do that's not how OCT stocks roll. Companies traded on OTC put out so many fake press releases and drum up so much legitimately fake news (not the SJW version of fake news, that is) that people don't trust it, even when they can see with their own two eyes that what is said is actually happening.
OTC stocks run on cash flow and this will take off as soon as we see some of that. Even if every single share sells, we won't see a price increase until those peppers come out of the ground.
Dunno, but I won't be mad if we're down several more percent in a few days when I'm able to pick up more shares. Just sayin'...
It'll come back up, no worries here.
Increasing draught on the west coast? We've had more rain in the past 4 months than we've had in the 7 years I've lived here.
I hope it keeps falling, personally; at least for the next few months. I'd love to pick up more cheap shares at the bottom.
Fine by me, hope it stays down for a few days so I can gather up some funds to buy more!
Well shit, I bought yesterday. Wish I'd waited now...
It's ex-dividend day, everyone selling now that they've secured their dividend payments (which were quite tasty, I might add) means I'm loading up on cheap shares today.
With Obama on his way out of office, his anti-coal legislation won't be round much longer. Add to that, all of ARLP's domestic competitors have filed bankruptcy at some point in the recent past and ARLP is unaffected by the leasing halt, as the companies they own actually own the land they mine on, and you can easily see that now is the time to load up on ARLP, while it's cheap!
I'm gonna have some spare cash in the second half of this month, might be time for me to load up on this, then.
I was arguing with a friend over whether it was okay to fill a bong with vodka; they said it was, I said it wasn't (on top of being a waste of vodka), so I googled it to find out. Bong Spirit Vodka came up in the results and caught my attention.
In at .08 and buckled up for lift-off. Also, I just want to buy a bottle of the stuff, so I'm seriously hoping the re-launch is legit.
With power companies talking about limiting how much power solar homes are allowed to dump back onto the grid (this has been lightly reported in the media, so it isn't widely known just yet), solar just became a *lot* less attractive. That means continued power generation demand and, if those limits are eventually put in places, increased power generation demand as solar homes will no longer be supplying as much daytime power as they currently do.
That means more coal, which means more business for ARLP and more profits for ARLP investors.
That's my read, at least.
Can't say for sure but I'd expect they're re-launching the Bong Spirit Vodka line. I'm excited for that as I just recently learned of the line and have been looking to buy a bottle; of course, it's unavailable right now, so...
Fingers crossed, if I'm right I'll be able to buy more than a few bottles with my profits.
I don't think we're gonna see an approval until the construction is 100% completed and has passed inspection, honestly. Might be a month or so yet.
Someone else is gonna have to hook us both up with that, I've been going on hearsay (bad, I know) for that particular bit of info.
For your sake, I hope you get that opportunity... for mine, I hope you don't.
Good luck!
If we go from "PRNDING" to "APPROVED", hold on to your freakin' seat, right?
Looks like all of our volume today is buys. There's not much action, but what's there looks good, at least.
It's possible the Choo skipped out on his contract. Keep an eye out for ESMG to sue Choo and SoSerious over that in the near future.
That and the weak 10Q is hurting them a lot...
Really, the only good news on it was that they're debt free. You know what? That's great. We've all been sitting here for a month now, waiting for some actual action from these guys and we're not seeing it.
That lack of action, combined with a weak 10Q, is why this is heading south. Period.
I'm saddened by the direction this thing has taken. I see it ending up back in the .0007 range in the next 2-3 weeks and I'm kind of pissed about that. I broke the cardinal rule of investing (and gambling, for that matter): don't invest what you're not willing to lose. I did so because I had faith in PMCM and now I see myself about to lose that investment.
I'm down by enough now that all I really have left, value-wise, is that last load-up I did, the one I couldn't really afford; so, I'm out before I actually lose more than I can afford to lose.
I'm going out for a bit, see you all at 7.
Sounds reasonable to me. They've been busy little beavers.
I'm sure this is very interesting but I have no idea what to make of it. Anyone care to interpret for me?
Also, re: your PM -- I do try to bring the funny; can't be serious all the time. Glad you're enjoying it :)
I bought early this year, before all the pot talk, as well. That's what's keeping me around, though.
