If someone could post the link to a filing or investor relations on this it would be much appreciated. I cannot find anything except the par value of .0001
I hate to bring this up so late but can someone please explain what the cost basis was for those who received the spin off. I received a huge taxable dividend that is way overinflated from what the price ever traded at. Thank you!
I could pull it with time and sales but I watched it all day and I would the majority of trades went off between 7-10 cents. About a quarter of the volume today was one big order at .10
I watched time and sales and it traded decently a few times at .20 and opened at .01. Rather wild huh when it shows a few thousand percent gain haha
Hahahah best post of the morning
With earnings within the next few days it appears no one wants to make a movd
Ok thanks for the advice but I already cancelled the card. Seemed to be a coincidence apparently so I thought I'd mention it. You need to chill like I'm making direct accusations
A few days after getting a call from Madeline my credit card number was used in NJ. I'm still skeptical about this Madeline person and how she's the only person I've heard of calling customers and why she's calling so many. You are the third person on Ihub I've heard of now. I also found it weird she called from a Skype line.
This shows the SPY
I won't have an update as to how it works as I don't smoke but at first glance the quality looks great! Maybe I'll just put something in it to see how it works
I bought one as a souvenir myself just to view the quality but it's a very sturdy piece. The chamber doesn't have any sort of coils or anything. I haven't charged it yet but it appears that the whole chamber would heat evenly for a vape and not burn. The packaging is my favorite part and combined with the color scheme of the product itself, it truly resembles something that Apple would lroduce
Realistically though I'd like to know why he has never made an appearance and been such a ghost. I'm not ripping on the guy but let's be honest, you have a start up company that's trying to thrive in a extremely new and controversial market, you get on CNBC within 6 months of launching a product and a year later your identity is still a mystery
This is an awesome post lol that takes talent
Here you go. Be sure to read the "guidelines" section. This is what you are looking for
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quiet_period
I see where you are coming from but you cannot say that definitively. The wording could be a little misleading and no one can speculate how much was given
Hint**You can skip to the last sentence
"The agreement with Omnicam has been under negotiation for nearly three months. An initial agreement was signed by both parties on September 18, 2014. The company waited for confirmation of the first purchase order before making a public announcement. That first purchase order totaling $350,000 was made last week with payment received by VitaCig, Inc. on Friday October 17, 2014."
It's in the email PR. Payment received on Oct 17. Do your own DD to find it
And that confirms that the price was adjusted down because all orders are cancelled due to the drop in share price for dividend pay outs. Consider this... If someone bought today they would have technically (granted that there was no market activity to influence price) have gotten the adjusted "lower" stock price AS WELL as the divided. That's win win and is not how it works. There are few of us that are on the same page. Keep it up!
Let's go with the PR then! You can only trust that the company knows what they are talking about before making statements and I really do hope today people are still eligible. I like watching the activity here. Forget everything else I said
Yeah I'm not trying to argue here. All I know are the facts declared by the SEC and that's what Im conveying.
On your side here man...
I don't know how else to explain the situation. The main question here for everyone is this.....Do you believe what the SEC website quotes or no?
Again, I don't care what's in the PR because it's what is filed with the SEC that matters. You can believe what you like and we shall see. You should buy 100 shares today just to see who's right :)
They highlight2 business days meaning that you must buy prior to this date, or 3 business days prior to record date. With a normal week without a holiday the ex date in this exact example would normally be tomorrow. But because of the holiday the ex date appears to be 3 business days prior.
All I can say is this... Forget everything else that you read and try to understand and just remember the only fact that matters.....you need to buy BEFORE the ex date to receive a dividend. That's really the simplest and easiest way to understand
Your last paragraph states if you buy on the ex date that you do not get the div. these are the standard rules
Honestly I would not be surprised if they misunderstood the rules just like many people on this board have. I can tell you right now though that information is NOT correct. Especially with the holiday this week and 1 less day of trading it's not. And the statement they made referencing "close of day today" makes no difference to the rules of ex date. It's got nothing to do with the close and simply the date itself. It is too late to buy dividend. Trust me
You CANNOT buy on the ex date and receive a dividend for a stock. Please read my last 2 posts. I do this for a living but I do not own shares of mcig
You are correct. I'm an investment broker and I have to explain this to my clients all the time.
Think about it this way... If you are looking at a calendar and you reach the ex date, it's too late. You have to purchase BEFORE the ex date to qualify for dividend. Think of the "ex date" as a big X meaning that you are EXEMPT from the dividend now.
My book of clients exceeds 2 billion dollars so you can trust my explanation is accurate
It changed seconds after I posted that sorry. I made new post
Crazy changes in pre market bid/ask activity. I watch this every morning and never seen a spread wider than
.015 going into the open. Just changed from BID .15 ASK .05 to BID 21 ASK 25. All in all this is going to be exciting to watch either way
BID .15 ASK .05. Looks like the ex date is taking effect. Hold on
I think you are exactly correct. I'm in the industry and all these facts are true by fefinitoon
I was contacted by a rep that said I should have the boss in 2 weeks and that was on Thursday.
Well I figured that the delivery time would be the easiest thing to make up if she was phishing for personal information so it was irrelevant at the time. Sorry
She also told me that it would be delivered it 2 weeks so that makes me feel better. Thanks for the heads uo
She just wanted to confirm exactly what I had ordered and my address. I said it so fast so that she couldn't have written remembered it but still
I made the same search and realized that too. I placed the order on a work computer which is VERY secure but it's still very odd. Eh I'll just see if anything happens I suppse
She seemed to know a little about the company and stated "because it's and online company and starting with the 3.0 we are calling people" still very concerning to a degree because it's such a random occuremce
I just received a call from a Madeline who claimed to be from Mcig that wanted to confirm my order that I placed for the BOSS. When I asked why she wanted to confirm this because I had bought prior mcigs and vitas before and never gotten a call. Her response was "because it's An online company, starting with the 3.0 we are calling customers to make sure there isn't any fraudulent orders being placed" she sounded really sketchy saying this and now I'm kinda freaked out. Why did she need confirmation when millions of things are bought online every day. The number she called from was 802-585-1620.
They just filed 8k
