Sorry, this doesn't have anything to do with trumps travel ban. This is about the airlines lowering guidance. And since we're the heaviest in debt, we're the ones who take it in the shorts, which we have done consistently for the last five years. Overreacting, and always in the wrong direction. That's American Airlines.
Im so frustrated. I want to scream. How do I type screaming... somebody help me.
First off the New Yorker is unabashedly, and decidedly anti-Trump. There is clearly an agenda there, as reflected in this article, to undermined the presidents credibility.
This includes undermining any plans he has, or any industry or company that appears to be affiliated with his promise to make America great again. I would have to take a lot of what this article says with a grain of salt based on that alone. There is very little likelihood that they will put any positive light on anything the current president is saying or doing.
Jeez, he sure does spend a lot of his time slagging Donald Trump. That wouldn't by any chance color his opinion, now would it
I agree with you completely. In the end, nothing anyone posts on this board is going to change outcomes at all. We can only really sit back, watch and exchange information, hopefully truthfully, and support one another.
This is definitely going to take off this year it's just a matter of when, not if. I'm averaging my costs down, with the spare cash I have.
Remember, with each barrier that falls for this stock, a positive outcome gains momentum and becomes more and more realistic.
The first barrier was the presidential election, the second was the appointment of Pruitt. If this gets Corps of Engineers/federal approval, it then goes to the state and the outcome of that gets more more likely to be positive with that momentum. Especially given the state of the economy in Alaska.
Feel free to quote me on this. A positive outcome of each event will increase the likelihood of the next events outcome turning in our favor. It's a momentum play and it's chances will increase once it starts to roll.
Oh I see what happened. That link you posted actually takes you to a newer podcast. The discussion about NAK and Kersdale is A Wednesday podcast. I found the correct podcast he actually spends almost the entire podcast talking about these idiots and the reality of short scams and reports like this. Really interesting stuff for all of his Longs to read. And thank you for posting it.
I scanned through the podcast, I can't seem to locate any reference to it. Do you recall about how many minutes in it was?
Two of the firms I saw have offices here in LA where I live.
Which one? There's 5...
I would be careful implying the rest of us are not thinkers. Your arrogance could backfire.
There is however, the rationale that you could give into hysteria , and miss out on much bigger profits. Which I can guarantee happens often also.
Jesus is there a law firm that isn't filing a class-action lawsuit? What is it up to five now? What baloney.
What a bunch of ambulance chasers. I can't believe they're all in cahoots with this company. They're even cutting and pasting similar press releases. How can that be legal?
I am personally going to the SEC website tomorrow. I'm going to fill out a complaint against that stupid firm. That is such a blatant violation, to quote unnamed sources, and provide no proof. What total BS.
Wow Salmon forever, Pebble never...
how impartial and unbiased. His "information " as you put it wouldn't be prejudiced, would it?
ha ha LOL
Nice. Thanks.
I added. I figure nothing has changed, just bad/false press.
Any info on that?
Unbelievable.
Thanks for the info. This was something to witnesses. What scumbags.
Shit, those f-ing lawyers didn't miss a beat... or a second..
Wow. Just wow.
Glad I added, hope I survive. Long and strong.

Remember what I said about a class action lawsuit? Well here we go.
If what this report is saying is even remotely true, then Katusa and several others will mount a major class-action law suit. They've lost way more than we have.
This article is outright stating stock fraud of the highest order by NAK.
Doctoring reports and withholding information? A pump and dump on a management level revealed by insiders??
This is either a scandal of epic and criminal proportions, or a sham fabrication. Either way I'm devastated this morning... This is the polar opposite of my election night joy..
I just wish I had more capital to load up... this is going to blast off when they announce that consortium. Which makes the most sense btw. That is the wisest approach. Shared expense and risk my a "big two" or "big three" approach.
Understood. Boy do I wish I had a plan to get this over $50.
God I hope...
OMG I can't believe I'm looking at 43+ again. I want to scream...
I agree, but we've seen this before. Just sit tight. There stil in a black out. When they start buying back it'll spike back up. And then I will unload some to .
Now you know where the swollen eyes and itchy rashes are really coming from.
One rich guy isn't going to be able to sway the building of this mine, no matter how wealthy is. Sorry. And BTW he was fined several years ago for unfair and unethical practices by giving access to his aircraft fleet for local tribes wishing to travel to petition Washington. He allowed access to his aircraft at a near free, subsidized rate but only for opponents, not proponents of the mine. He was discovered and fined heavily. He probably will not be apt to do that again since his Machiavellian maneuvers have been publicized.
You might want to wait a little bit on that, old friend. Since we have plenty of historical precedents now, we both know that when they Unleash their buying there will be spikes. I would wait a few weeks, heck it probably won't even take that long. this will spike back over 50 just because they're buying a ton of it. I'll probably dump some then too.
We've seen this a couple of dozen times now. This pattern, just rinse and repeat.
I know it's funny isn't it? This is the only investment I've ever had that I actually hope for to go lower sometimes
:)
Good one.
Thanks.
Not sure how I feel about that. I just read the part where he said shareholders prefer buybacks over dividends. Huh.
So frustrating. So how much are they buying back this time and when are they to have the buybacks done by?
Not mysterious at all. They're in transition team mode only, and awaiting a cabinet confirmation in what will clearly be a contested appointment.
Don't forget, the reworking and/or dismantling of this agency was a keynote talking point in many a campaign appearance. Blackout totally understandable and not mysterious in the least.
I'm sorry, did my eyes deceive me??..
31 million volume.
(I added too)
I'm about ready to start unloading some of this. So many opportunities missed elsewhere because of the $$ I've got parked asleep here.
My guess is cold feet before the earnings Friday.
the way things are going, we'll be dumping this at 45...
declaring bankruptcy
I'll be joining you at 55...
