Why buy IAN when you can buy MPX for a discount??
BOGO DEALS BOYS!!!! Average down while you can, trust me, I was just in Lake Tahoe at one of the rise dispensaries twice, it was packed both times!! Plus their financials were great last quarter.
Ride that average down train baby, the way back up will be sweeeeeet!
From my understanding I would think they would simply calculate your price of iAnthus by the average price of what you have in MPX. Correct me if my math is wrong here, but the way I see is this: If you're buying MPX to get iAnthus right now, you simply divide MPX by .16 to see what you would be buying IAN at. For example, today MPX is at around .70 cents USD. If you do .70/.16 that equals 4.375USD, which in my head would represent what you are buying IAN for if you're buying MPX at 70 cents. It's a decent discount because IAN is at 4.69 USD. So in my head it really depends on the current price of both IAN and MPX. That 0.16 ratio shouldn't change how many shares you're getting, if you have 5000 of MPX then that would convert to 800 shares of IAN, but you'd need the average bought price of MPX with that ratio to figure what you're buying IAN at.
U.S. Cannabis Business Signs Up Former Canadian Prime Minister

I don't think there will be raids anytime soon, practically every state now has some form of legalization, whether it be medical or recreational. More change continues to happen, I think it's only a matter of time for America. Having said that, the valuation is really your opinion. Their revenue was like 13.6M, with a current valuation of just over 2 Billion. I would say that's high. I'm a fan of buying in when they're sitting at a 1 Billion market cap personally. The deals were back in August when this thing was 6-7$. This IS and will be one of the big boys in America, in my opinion.
No chance of NYSE or NASDAQ until it’s federally legal.
Acreage Holdings Bolsters Its Board of Directors With Addition of Former Time Warner Telecom CEO Larissa Herda And Former IBM CFO Douglas Maine

Honestly I have been trying to decipher if this company will just be a pump and dump, but with their team, it really seems like they want to just take over all across the states.
John do you have your moneys ready for the CSE IPO?? Haha
I can confirm, you can buy this through Fidelity, but you will have to call them and have them do it because it's on the CSE. Etrade won't allow you you trade internationally and i'm not sure about the other one's.

This article is nice, it tells you who owns what percentage. It looks like the absolute total shares can get to 102,256,850 and then some.
I’ve only heard good things about this one. I actually like how they arnt as spread out as the big players, but more dispensaries in a large state. Is there O/S actually 11 mill? That’s insane. With a price of around 7.63 USD wouldn’t that put their current cap around 83 mill?
Unfortunately Tilray is influencing this stock. I'd imagine some more red to come. One thing's for sure, this puppy can run since it has only around 146M outstanding shares. Average down haha!
No shares under 15 :( I want to avg down but this thing just keeps moving up....
Seems like it's just high level talks though, so it might not happen... No guarantees here yet.

SCOOOOOOPSIES!!!!
So glad I got into a position yesterday and then continued to buy more! I still need more, guess we're all going to avg up here :) Cheers!
Just took a position here guys, I have been waiting for a drop, but screw it, wanted to go in. Plan on buying on drops. After researching these guys, it's clear they are top dogs in the US with their footprint in 8 states and 14-15 operational dispensaries. I like the outstanding shares of around 146M, and their positive net income for Q2 of 2018. With expansion into Florida and laws in the US opening up, I think these guys can easily run higher. Cheers!
Hey guys, i'm trying to buy this on etrade but it's not coming up under MMEN. MEDMEN ENTERPRISES INC SHS comes up as the ticker MTTPF, is this the same? Thanks
Excboe, I would look at the positive here. Aurora is 1 of 8 companies to have two licensed facilities in Canada. Between these two facilities there's a combined ~95,200 sq ft of CURRENTLY operational grow space. However, if the sky is behind schedule, I think the better question here is will these two licensed facilities run out of product before they're operational AND licensed with the sky? If the answer is yes, then yes, we're somewhat boned. 'll take that gamble though :) Cheers Lads!
Parapraxis, see this article. Unless I'm reading it wrong.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2015/02/12/colorados-legal-weed-market-700-million-in-sales-last-year-1-billion-by-2016/?utm_term=.5f934f23db3c
Your weak Pink, just like all the people who sold yesterday. Statistics don't lie, Colorado's first year sales were 700 billion with a population of 5.5 million. Canada has a population of roughly 35 million. Let that sink in... I'll scoop your shares up because profits are going to be crazy. Regret cuts deep.
But remember the money they get from them is contingent upon the fact that their stock goes up past $4 (exercise price). It's the option to purchase at $3, so they aren't getting any money until they actually purchase the stock with their own money at that price, then resell it for a profit. Why didn't they take a loan? Who knows, but at least it's two way. What do they need money for? There's currently about 50+ licensed growers/sellers in Canada (you can look this up on Canada's website) and they need to stay ahead of the game. In a way it does dilute the total stock, but in order for Aurora to get that money, their stock has to go above $4, so they are obviously thinking the profit they will get long term from sales will override the dilution.
It's a long term play for cash IMO. I think people selling now will regret it. The demand for cannabis is so high right now that it outweighs the supply. Profits are going to be endless, especially with supplying other countries like Germany. Demand will only increase as more countries begin to loosen laws. Look at the bigger picture here.
They get the ability to purchase the shares for $3, this is true, but remember for this company to make money, they will want to double or triple their money. If they purchase shares at $3 and resell, the only break even. So IMO they would buy then hold until it goes higher. And this is sustained cash for Aurora. Clearly Aurora believes they will go above 3 bucks, and clearly the company who invested believes this too. If they don't go above 3 bucks, no one makes money.... Just my opinion.
For those of you that doubt, it just doesn't make any logical sense for this pps to go down. Yes, it may see a fall like we have seen, but the marijuana market will only increase over the next few years; if this company closes on the land and starts actually growing, there's just no way it will go down. It's a waiting game, sit tight and enjoy the ride.
I'm still slightly confused as your link didn't work. I'm aware of what an option is, but just not sure what was meant by the statement. Can you elaborate a bit more? Sorry for any confusion.
What does SEPT $5's are asking .45 mean?
This thing definitely can run probably to at least 5 cents before heavy consolidation. Get in while you still can!
Doesn't ASTC's earnings come out soon? Why are people selling? I don't see any insider transactions of execs selling, so shit, i'm holding!
Hey guys i've had this stock for a while now and been watching these boards for a bit as well. Just gotta say that illverson has been dead on. Because of you i've held and seen profits my friend.
Why is everyone so glum?? I thought this was a "great" stock. Hell it was pumped like obamas campaign. I thought we had profits from yellow and storage 24 which no one has ever heard of. C'mon guys, maybe 5 years from now this will take off, but it's clear that they're hurting for $$$ bad. It's a slippery slope from here on out.
Hey guys just got in this stock but have been following your posts daily. In doing some DD this stock really has a LOT of potential and is heavily undervalued! The site that they want to build looks amazing. This is definitely an investment; if they can pull off construction, this will have a significant return!
