Keep in mind that some of those costs are for development. Once they buy it they have to build on it. I think that the actual amount will be in the 15M range.
Public records show they own at least 15.8 acres. I had my GIS partner review the records today.
Haha I'm awake and researching as always. Happy to share my thoughts with you if you have any questions send me a line.
Cerner deal resolution as early as August.
http://missouribusinessalert.com/industry/46969/2014/07/17/kansas-city-tif-commission-approves-additional-cerner-funding/
There are billions of shares outstanding, it would take many years for them to grow their business to a size that warrants dollar valuations. I think they will want to uplist to NASDAQ sooner than that, say in two or three years from now once they have a few years of consistently growing sales figures and innovative products. Probably once they are looking to really launch the Sonic Flow into mass production. At that point they reverse split, uplist, pull in some equity financing and start pumping out SonicFlow's left and right for small engine use and generators.
Alternatively they could license the technology to an existing engine production company like Lifan Automotive in China who they have already collaborated with. Lifan pays them royalties on every engine sold and they don't have to develop all the infrastructure needed to pull that off.
Zero, IMO reverse split will happen several years from now as they prepare to uplist.
So glad to see the ticker change finally go through. Looking forward to audited financials showing some improvement and Q2 financials showing just the tip of the iceberg of what happens with the lockbox off. Bring on the Cerner announcement!
LOLOLLLOOOLLL ROFLMAO! All us longs are smarter than we look!
Their gross margins are actually more than 40%. Which means they are making 40 cents for every dollar they sell. This is actually quite good.
They have high debt from the expenses it took to build infrastructure and sales networks, design products and develop them with manufacturers etc. etc. This is the time when the balance sheet starts turning around now that they have put in all that time and money.
They are waiting til next Tuesday for a blight study on the area.
"The Kansas City Tax Increment Financing Commission was scheduled to consider a TIF plan amendment for the project on Wednesday. However, the issue was continued until a special meeting at 3 p.m. Tuesday because a blight study was not completed for about 50 acres being added to the project."
More Cerner info Tuesday Possible council approval
Looks like we might get more info next Tuesday as they need to complete a blight study for the council to be able to approve this.

Profits from sale.
Quick calculation estimates. The bike retails for $400 at Sears.com. If Motovox sells it to Sears for $250 and makes 40% margins then we are looking at 300k in the profit column from this one order.
Agreed, so here's what I'm thinking with the wall. This is a scare tactic. Someone is posting a 14M wall with an all or nothing fill order. They are doing this because they know that most people can't buy more than 999,999 shares at a time through their broker and for those that can it is unlikely that they will buy 14M at once. This effectively paralyzes everyone into thinking there is some huge scary wall that they cannot overcome since it never moves. Meanwhile the person never has to sell their shares at this low price.
APT is seeking an injunction to stop them from selling anything. I would consider it unlikely since they are using a manufacturer that APT has moved away from likely with good reason. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some bad blood here after these guys left and ripped off the designs. Not sure an amicable agreement is a likely outcome. Anything is possible though.
My best guess is that APT will want damage claims and Monster Moto to quit selling with their design. Makes sense to squash this potential competitor and make some money doing so in the process.
But I want it now! Gimme! Gimme!
Monster Moto Business
If you go to the monster moto facebook page you will see a photo on their wall of all the merchandise currently in their warehouse.
https://www.facebook.com/goMonsterMoto
I estimated 60 palettes of the E250 in the photo there with 12 on each palette that's 200k worth of merchandise at their current prices. They have 6 models of recreational vehicle ranging in prices from $279-$799. If they have similar numbers of the other products then that could be a warehouse with as much as $3.5M in merchandise. I would imagine that they have fewer of the other larger models and that some of what I thought were E250's were actually other products. Either way I think it's likely that there is over $1M in merchandise alone. Who knows what their sales are for a full year.
I think based on what I have seen that this company has the pocketbook to pay a fairly substantial sum in the event of a successful claim against them. On the flip side, patent infringement suits take a long time to resolve so no one expect this money soon.
Don't forget the markman hearing phase of the trial. Not sure the current status of this one but previous patent infringement suits I have been involved with required the markman phase to be completed before a trial could be held. This can take over a year in some cases. I would think this case will move a little quicker since there are not huge multi-billion dollar companies trying to stall proceedings like in my previous experiences.
He sold three weeks ago this has nothing to do with financials.
My personal opinion is that he's retiring. He's 70 years old.
They estimated by the end of June and noted that it was in FINRA's hands.
Yes, night executes fidelity as well.
By this logic there is literally no time that an insider could sell that wouldn't be cause for panic. If Mr. Pritt was selling because he knew what the PPS was going to do don't you think he would have sold at .03? Since he didn't sell at .03 isn't it logical to assume that Mr. Pritt is not basing his decision to sell on any pending news. It's more likely that he has no idea what the PPS is going to do because the market is independent of the company.
No one here expects financials to do much to the PPS one way or another. We have seen the Q1 numbers and they are priced in. The upcoming financials will show us the strong 2012 numbers followed by a decline in 2013. We already know this and it shouldn't impact the PPS. Douglas Pritt wanted to sell some shares so he did. He isn't involved in day to day activities he's on the board of directors. Nobody is running for the exits they just got to the party.
Maybe Douglas Pritt is stepping down?
Perhaps he is trying to slowly divest himself before a transition out.
That's a great idea. Is there a good way to make sure that those interested in the stock find the group?
Doing my best to balance things out a bit
Yeah my rough calculations might be a bit high but I think based on the tidbits they have mentioned (reduce expenses by 1/3 while leaving some leftover to fund expansion) that it could be a substantial sum. Potentially even more than their current market cap. Will be very happy if that is the case.
July 9th is my belief. I have posted the reasoning before but basically Cerner said they would announce the details at a certain meeting and the date I found for that meeting was July 9th at 8:30 am. Now APT may be allowed to announce sooner depending on their agreement with Cerner so we might not even have to wait that long.
Go for it Pete! Tons of potential here. Congratulations on having the means to make a difference here!
If so multiply my numbers by 2. Up to 1M in profits potentially from one order. Profits not revenue.
Yeah some question as to whether they were the top 10 grossing of all international retailers or top 10 grossing and an international retailer.
Signs point to Costco if the former. Not sure it really matters who it is so much as whether the contract gets signed. Money is money.
https://nrf.com/news/global/global-powers-of-retailing-top-250-highlights-1
Target, Costco and Sears all fall under the top 10 rating and have sold Motovox currently or in the past. https://nrf.com/resources/top-retailers-list/top-100-retailers-2011
I think they are not allowed to disclose the information because these retailers are publicly traded companies and any information about their purchase plans would be viewed as non public information and should not be released unless that company decides to announce it to their shareholders and the public. Could create an advantage for someone on the retailer's stock if they found out.
Their much smaller model MVX 70cc is retailing for $700 on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Motovox-70-cc-Dirt-Bike/dp/B0061IO18C
I would assume that since the new bike is almost 200cc it would be a bit more expensive. Instead of trying to guess how much let's try a range. If APT sells the bigger bike at a price between $700 - $1,200 to retailers then 1,000 units amounts to $700k - $1.2M in revenue. At current profit margins of about 40% that would be 280k - 480k in profits from this one product and this one order.
It is possible that the bike could cost more but in this one order they have possibly already made back the money they spent to research and develop the bike. Plenty of good things to come here.
July 9th will be a big deal IMO. That's the date I believe the Cerner deal will be announced. Be ready!
Stickied. Great news guys, progressing one step at a time just like we knew it would.
Yes all Zaeta motorcycles sold will sport SmartCarbs. Beautiful bike too. My first bike was a Ducati but this is actually better looking to me. Very unique styling.
Agreed APT is in the very early stages of commercialization of the SmartCarb.
Motovox products will continue to sell and be a consistent revenue stream. SmartCarb is now entering the commercialization phase after being perfected and proven on the competitive circuit. APT is working to get the manufacturing practices in place for the different sizes and configurations desired. They are starting to roll out product to early OEM adopters and individuals who bought via pre-order. This is all still early on in the product life cycle.
Next steps are to begin finalizing cast sizes for existing OEM customers. As those are being finalized the company will work to secure new development contracts for additional sizes and configurations. Billet production will continue throughout this process but will represent a smaller proportion of sales compared to finished cast sizes. This will last for probably a year and a half as the company develops and finalizes the casts for the various sizes companies and riders may want.
Meanwhile Motovox Pro will be developed utilizing the SmartCarb technology. New models will be designed targeted at international markets which demand high mpg motor vehicles. Gas costs $4.36 per gallon in India...not much difference right? Until you stop to think that it's more than the average Indian worker earns in a day.
As time goes on APT will branch out into generators, cars, and lawn equipment. I have mentioned before that the generator market is the most exciting to me as it is a multi-billion dollar industry that is growing double digits annually. If APT releases a superior product through already matured sales channels in a year and a half then watch out!
There is a lot to like here and the best news of all is that Cerner is about to cut APT a big check. It is my belief that this check will take care of a large percentage of the existing debt (see my previous posts) and leave APT a big chunk to develop the pro line and the cast versions of the SmartCarb. Significantly less debt combined with increased revenue streams with solid margins = profitable in 2015.
If you are new here or if you are getting worried my suggestion is to wait until the Q3 10-Q hits. Then make your decision. Best of luck to everyone.
Sounds like everything will be coming at once, first two weeks of July.
zaetausa.com now up.
It's just linking to the canadian website for now but their representative told me it's a matter of weeks. They are in talks with dealerships throughout the US to distribute now.
Did he elaborate on what his day to day role is with APT? Thanks for the info.
Looks like it is a common service provider.
