Good luck FUNMAN. I agree with all of your points. I also have started to put some shares that I sold at 1.26/.27 into other securities. I guess I'll sell the rest next week. Most are in Roths so there are no tax implications or reporting. Would have been nice if they sold ROX for a price we were all hoping for. See you around and good luck. You have been a great contributor to the board.

Hey Guys,
Congratulations on our sort of takeover. I ended up making about .50/sh on 35,000 shares. I was disappointed with the takeover price as were quite a few legal minds.
If they end up raising the offer price (which I doubt), can only the shares that have not been sold get the extra money.
Is there any upside to waiting for the tender offer to end and have them pay us rather than just sell and pay a small commission.
Great talking to you guys over the years. This was a bad takeover price. We could have done better than that if we just stayed as ROX for the next year.
Surprised with the muted stock price move after those earnings. I figured we would at least get back into the .80+ range. Hopefully we don't have to wait for the next ER to get out of this range.
If I am correct, it appears that ROX only issued their earnings in an SEC filing. I was surprised that they didn't release them earlier to take advantage of the market as they were good.
When I looked for a press release, but didn't find any. I think what they did was to issue the SEC filing to comply with their rules and will issue the press release on Monday morning to help the share price recover all week.
FUNMAN The other day I was doing something unrelated to stocks on my computer and I saw ROX dip to .48 so I picked up another 3,000 shares. I figured that if I liked the company at higher prices, why wouldn't I really like it at these fire sale prices. I think I have added about 10,000 shares at these low prices that are below my already good average.
I will take the chance that my faith is unfounded, but I don't think so for all of our sake.
I see you have down to the day. Looking forward to a good surprise for all of us.
Thanks for your continued contributions to the Board.
I thought the 10K was due out on the 13th. It's the 14th and we are still waiting. I would like to read something good and see this stock go up like it should. It just has no reason to be where it is.
My order for 1,000 more shares at .54 filled and added to my already large portfolio of this stock. If I liked it higher, I like it even more at these levels. Can't see the earnings release doing anything but running the share price up. GLTA
Funman, Good to see the board coming alive. We haven't seen this much action in many months. I have no idea why it did not go up a few weeks ago on that Case Sales Announcement on 4/22. Then, when today's announcement came out it briefly popped to .61 then settled back towards yesterday's close. I had to go out this morning so before I left I picked up another 1,000 shares just for kicks. That brings my break even point to about .87. Glad to see how we closed when I got home.
Good luck to all that held on. It should get better from here!
Frank
I have no idea why you are confusing investing in a stock with following Frost / Lampen. I invest in companies. The "entitled" phrase I used referred to what each of us investors have been waiting for from ROX. You sound angry. I can only wish you the best in your investing.
I think we are heading back up. Just saw a 10,000 share buy at .65. Who knows?
I believe you are absolutely correct about the price and inventory. Only time will tell on when we will realize the gains that are due to us, but I think, if not now, we are very close to the bottom. When we do take off, anyone buying shares down here will feel good. I have been a shareholder of this stock since 2016 and started accumulating at this price and higher. The first shares I bought were a few weeks after it traded for .45. My average is down to .89 so although I hate to see this languishing at this level, it won't take but a good quarterly report to get my investment back plus some. I hope it gets bought out because it will give me an easier exit as a shareholder. Like you and others, we have a real connection to this stock - and I don't drink anymore. Thanks for your usual welcome back to me.
Check this Board daily but see that interest in ROX has dwindled from the past. I am sure all holders are still hanging in there for what we all think will be the future of this company. To that end, I picked up another 2,000 shares at .651 yesterday. Someday this stock will run as it is too undervalued. It will go higher on its own business progression or by a take over. Hope I contributed some brightness to all on this Board. As always, Good luck to all stockholders.
You are right. Better days are ahead. You have quite a few years with ROX that I do. I missed buying it in the .50 range but have been here a little over a couple of years and bought a lot in the .70's and 80's. I am pretty sure we won't lose money. It is just a matter of how much we make on this and how long it will take. Like you, I can't bring myself to sell or trade any of these shares. The only way I may part with all or part of them is on a takeover.
Fully agree FUNMAN. Will have to wait until next quarter end to see if we can get this to go up. Long term we will be winners. Take care and have a good Summer.
Could this be shorts covering? What is strange is that it is not going up or down in any significant manner as a result of good results.
Looks like people are loading up at $1.19. At least for now not a mass sell off. Maybe we will come back today as was mentioned.
$1.23 now. My only hope is that they are trading this down so others can get in before they let it go up. If not, I guess I hold my shares for another quarter and beyond. It is tough but necessary to hold onto a stock that you know has great potential but is not yet appreciated. Glad I bought mine in double digits. At least I am not losing money.
This tight trading range does not make me feel good about the short term direction of ROX based on good results. I think this should have headed up at the open - not stagnant. I guess stagnant is better than losing share price.
20,000 now. Hope we hold also.
The last trade going into the after hours close was $1.18. At exactly 6:30 pm, the close of after trading hours, a single trade went through for $1.27. How is that for manipulation. It should, however, bode well for tomorrow's opening.
I think theses were great numbers. Why are we selling down after hours to $1.19 / $1.20? Strange!
What's going on with all the volume this morning?
I picked up some more shares at $1.20 on the way down. I didn't think this stock would still be down in this trading area after the last earnings release. My average cost is still around .92/sh. GLTA with patience.
New presentation filed with the SEC this morning. Looks good and presents our company in a well organized way.
I was impressed with how it held at $1.11 or above. Wish we did not vaporize that.04 gain, but there is always tomorrow.
Great analysis Funman. You always put in a lot of time and effort and all of us on the board benefit. When I bought more shares at $1.08 & $1.20 I also realized that Mgmt. made some longer term decisions that may have sacrificed some short term gains. However, we will be rewarded down the line. Still a good investment and I like you may just have to buy more shares if it drops below $1. Thanks again for your work on this.
Looks like the way the market is interpreting this earnings release, i will be buying more at lower prices than today's than enjoying the run up in price that I hoped for. GLTA
Can't beat free gift wrapping. That's why we use to do our Christmas shopping at Marshal Fields when we were in Chicago. Then they would also ship it for a nominal charge. The way things have changed in this Country I am not sure that still is offered.
ROX movement is like watching paint dry today.
Funman, one picture is worth a thousand words. Nice pickup and go / give packaging. I hope there is a recipe tucked in there also.
Funman, I just have a feeling that we will not be disappointed. We are almost at ground zero now and Christmas is coming. Merry Christmas!
Waiting for earnings. A trade at 4:00 was a sell for 9,041 shares. For the day sell were a little more than buys. I guess no one knows which way it will go when earnings are released. GLTA.
Been away from the Board for a while but was at my local Publix on Marco Island and noticed that they are now carrying Gosslings Ginger Beer. Great!!!
I have all of my shares at an average of .88 and don't usually like to buy shares higher than my average. But yesterday $1.20 seemed too good to pass by so I picked up 2,500 shares. Today ROX was priced well below yesterday so I tried to get some at $1.08 but had to settle on another 2,500 shares at $1.09. I just can't see how this quarter can be bad and force the selling price down anymore - and if there is a buy out down the line, what a gift. Good to see it turned around and now will most likely close green by .07.
Well, we made it down to $1.31. Hopefully this is heavy buying vs selling. I see nothing that would make in informed shareholder sell.
You never know when news will be released. This company doesn't put out fluff news. They are in early testing phases so we may be sitting like this into next year, although I hope not.
Yes. Returned Sunday into NYC. Beautiful weather except for rain on Saturday of our return. That did not bother my wife & i since we get plenty of that down on Marco Island where we now live. Up in NJ visiting our 5 children. Looks lie ROX is consolidating this week. Can't expect constant new highs as we have seen. Time will take this to higher levels on it's own and in turn will command a better buy out price. Take care.
Returned from cruise to Bermuda. Funman, was not able to fit in Goslings cruise but thanks for suggesting it. Was impressed on NCL. They had a full separate table with bottles of Bermuda Black Rum & cans of Ginger Beer with a nice brochure entitled: Try The Official Cocktail Of The World's Greatest Sailing Event. I purchased a bottle for $16 and on the cap it had printed Americas Cup Special Edition. Don't drink anymore because of diabetes but will keep it in place of stock certificates showing my support of ROX.
Heading to Bermuda tomorrow for a week. Tried to set up a tour of Gossilings but they don't give tours.
Stock up 54% to $1.13. Good Luck To All!!!
Thanks so much for your thoughtfulness in sending those 2 links. I have had my fun with alcohol and would like to eat more than drink more... and as you know, eating also has to be within limits. I control it with pills so I am lucky that I have not progressed to the next stage. That is why I keep in line.
That Youtube link was funny. Have a good night. For the next 2 days we can't lose any money. thank God for weekends.
