I thought we had determined that those likes were artificial. A sudden daily jump for a specified time, then a major drop off. Many companies offer this kind of service. I'm sure BRAV could have easily paid for it with those shares Beezer dropped on us.
And what did it do after that?
How MOST public companies work is they announce something when it is actually going to happen. How MOST public companies work is that when the CEO fails time and again with no rhyme or reason, he is removed by the board of directors. How stinky pinkies work, he can lie and fail all he wants and given his self imposed super voter rights, nobody can say squat, even if they owned ALL of the outstanding shares.
I thought the "right time" was the first week of December? Danny couldn't help but preach it, then disappear as usual when it fell through. PRIVATE LABEL... uh, when it's the right time. BUYBACK...uh, when it's the right time. NEW STORE...uh, when it's the right time. COMMERCIALS! uh, when it's the right time. If it wasn't the "right time" for these things, why did he say they were happening? Why not announce it when it was the "right time"? Because they were simply attempts to boost share price without actually following through on anything, ie; a pump. And of course, beings that he didn't even explain what happened or why, it was followed by the inevitable dump.
Those commercials CAN NOT air on national television. You can't have girls making out with each other, don't you think someone else would have already done that if it were allowed? They will stay in you tube land, where any 12 year old can post a commercial.
And why exactly is it boom time? Oh yeah, because the price is being artificially run up yet again. And just as it has every time before, it will fall back down to new depths. Enjoy the run, I've made a bit flipping it, feel sorry for those who are holding with the idea that this is a legit run.
Many said the same thing when this hit .03 a few months back. They held as it sunk down to .003 rather than making money when they had the opportunity. You should talk to some of the longs that have been here for 5 years and are still in the red.
35 reasons NOT to buy BRAV.
1. Dilution. Regardless of the excuses, it still happened and can continue at any time.
2. Sales drop. Danny's decision to stop the adwords campaign despite claiming to be making plenty of expansion money was an utter failure.
3. No commercial. Tons of money spent for Danny to sit on a couch with some lesbians. Has he EVER seen a commercial like this air? If it were allowed, EVERY company would do it. It was doomed from the start, we would have been better off renting out a strip club for Danny.
4. No buyback. Despite claiming the stock is undervalued, Danny STILL doesn't feel it's cheap enough to buy back shares as he claimed he would.
5. Stores closing. Danny's decision making once again was bad. Poor location choice led to overhead he couldn't handle. He spent all that money to set up shop, then looked at the logistics and had to give up. Oh well, wasn't his money.
6. No replacement store. Again something that was communicated as "in the works" but never came to fruition.
7. No website launch. Yes, the website is up, but who even knows it's there? Only stockholders and employees have ever heard of vivavuva. At last count it had a few dozen visits, assuredly from investors. You can't make money if people don't go to the site.
8. No private label. Many of you remember this as the big "announcement for an announcement" debacle a few years back. Prices were artificially inflated and came crashing down as once again, it never came to be.
9. It is simply resale. Why would anyone pay twice as much for the same products they could get from other resalers both online AND in brick & mortar stores across the country?
10. The styles are terrible. Yes, we see people wearing black or grey yoga pants, but have you actually ever seen anyone wearing these outlandish styles featured? Would your wife wear them? Would you buy them for your daughter? Most of this "fashion" is best suited for street walkers.
11. There is nothing holding the shareprice up. The only thing that can save this is an AMAZING 4th quarter. Those numbers won't be out until MARCH. Chances are though, that it will not be amazing as there is no commercial.
12. The chart. It doesn't take a wiz to know that this will continue to go down. The company doesn't have the money to air it's commercials, and revenue will suffer.
13. Danny's convertible shares soon up for sale. If isn't making enough money to sustain this business (evidenced by the recent cash infusion), and revenue is down, the money has to come from somewhere. That a whole lot of dumpage to see in the new year.
14. Poor leadership. Danny can talk the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk he repeatedly stumbles. Being a good salesman does not make you a good business manager. Danny has proven this time and again.
15. No follow through. Yes, conditions vary and sometimes plans have to change, but why not share with everyone WHY you are making the changes? Danny is quick to put out PRs for what he thinks will boost the share price, but then disappears when it comes time to explain his rationale. This is why most companies have a board of directors. The CEO has to explain why he did what he did, and if he continually fails, he is replaced.
You know what, 15 reasons are enough. Sure, I could dump another 20 about how "cool" the site looks, or how "fresh" the styles are, but who can really take that seriously?
We've been hearing that for 5 years now. What super impressive thing is up next? Uplist? Buyback? Private label? New store? An announcement to an announcement? Or, let me guess, another cookie cutter website? This is running on hype, and that's great for flipping, I know I'm making money, but holding now would be much like those that held on the last run to .03 only to watch it sink down to .003. Fun as it may seem, this run isn't build on solid foundation, just someone who came up on another stock and wasn't patient enough to buy when it would matter. Hope you take some profits!
I'm sure they won't seem so dumb when this drops back down. Momentum is great, but this has no support. Disagree? Please explain what is holding this up. Somebody with a payday in another stock isn't sufficient to keep this running. Use your common sense, people!
Successful? yes, but not nearly as successful as if it would be with a different name. The CEO must be one of Danny's cousins! Bad decision.
Dress Barn = cow clothes. No woman in her right mind would EVER tell anyone they bought their dress at the "Dress Barn". Even Danny wouldn't be that dumb!
It is being paid for, by US! It doesn't matter where the money goes, the fact is that it leves OUR pockets. BTW, HTML and CSS were out of date a decade ago. Maybe Danny should use some of that "consultant pay" and re-educate himself.
Why exactly is it "go time"? BRAV updated a website, this is normal and should be done annually. Unless Danny releases the Q4 numbers early (he won't), then this has no reason to move until March. Maybe if he got those commercials on the air, but we all know that isn't happening.
Do you see what I mean? Less than twenty dollars brought this down nearly 18%. A slow and steady climb on a solid foundation is the only way to build lasting value. These erratic ups and downs only contribute to the volatile pinky stigma. Good for flipping, not for investing.
The problem with artificially pushing up the share price is that it has nothing to hold it up. A fast run up is much like building a castle on a bed of sand. It looks great at first, but soon begins to crack and crumble from lack of support. Once the Q4 numbers come in, there will be a firm foundation to build on. Assuming the numbers are acceptable, March could be BRAV's time to shine. I will give kudos to Danny for PRing something that actually happened rather than a unlikely plan for the future. Even though it is small news, it's a step in the right direction for how Danny should continue.
Proof again that the stock has no legs of it's own, it needs outside manipulation. Safe place to put your money? No.
Because lord know this stock can't run on it's own! Better bring in some outside reenforcements to make it happen! Manipulation at it's finest! but hey, this stock is legit!! LOL!!!!
Lol, good luck with that! Like bailing out the Titanic with a bucket! Talk is just that. TALK. If you want to prove your case, show FACTS!! Danny is a flake, and anyone supporting his actions is the same. Want BRAV to succeed? Show FACTS! show COMPLETED projects, show FULFILLED promises. Everything else is just letters to Santa.
Heard the same thing in 2009, what's the difference?
The buy back is equally low volume. Why would this hold here? There is Nothing holding this up. #s come out in March, what is this running on, "Danny's word" LOL!!! You can fight now, but you';re throwing your money away. Do what you've got to do, but don't blame me next week when I come back and say I told you so. LoL!!!!
Proof please. I know for a fact that only 2 of these has ever been heard of outside of BRAV employees and shareholders.
Heard that before, I'll be waiting at the station!
We've been hearing that for the last 5 years. What makes this year different? Specifics please, not more of the same spiel we've heard over and over, what is new? What's changed?
Well, we all know that isn't going to happen. Don't believe me? Check the last 5 years of PRs, lol!
$250 an hour?!? Isn't that what Danny charges for his advise? Advise: Promise the moon, deliver nothing.
But his hair is magnificent! Don't short change Danny on his strengths. He has after all kept people enthused on his dreams regardless of the harsh reality. Danny is one, as they say, that could sell a ketchup popsicle to a woman in white gloves. When it comes to running a business however, he falls shorter than a midget in a hole. BRAV would be unstoppable if Danny would bring someone else in to run the company and make himself the lead sales gir..eh..guy. Stick to your strong points Danny, SALES! Leave the intelligent stuff to the professionals.
Good buys, lol! any more advice for us poor misguided souls?
It happened because there is nothing holding it up until March when the numbers come out. Danny has failed to follow through on so many promises, that hard numbers are the only thing that can save this. Investor confidence is shot, and with 2 months to go, you can bet this will continue to drop into the 20s and possibly even the teens. Many will say this isn't possible, but they also said it couldn't drop below .008. Then .006, .005, .004 etc. High hopes do not make share price rise, firm numbers do.
.0035 today, .0025 tomorrow.
You're right. Silly me. Danny will never give up, even after years of running this company into the ground. Does he not realize that people who invested FIVE YEARS ago are still underwater? He has failed, and the only people who would tell him otherwise are his mother and those who are holding the bag. Don't take my word, look at the facts!! Danny is a failure. BRAV is a failure. PLEASE show me ANY evidence to the contrary! PLEASE!!!
You sure? the pot leaf is in their logo! Unless you were being sarcastic, I know that plays poorly in print...
And a good one. The private label, as the veterans will remember, was the "announcement to the announcement"! Leggings can be found at any swap meet or discount store. Private label means money for the company, IE the shareholders! Danny is a flunky. He is a muse. A million ideas but no way to bring them to fruition on his own. Now is the time for him to earn his "consultant's pay" and consult to someone that actually knows how to run a business! Danny, put down the hair dryer and pick up the phone. Put someone in charge that knows what they're doing! Stop trying to be king. You may think you're Leonardo DiCaprio, but like him, you'll never win an Oscar. Give your pride a seat in the back and let a real man drive!
I thought .003s were a sure thing before March, but now it's looking like .002s or even teens are likely. How many said they put up support that would never let it get below .004s? I think I might get some .0014s like back in the day! lol!
I've actually walked into several Lululemon stores a few years back during the "challenge" and asked what they thought of Bravada. Not ONE of them knew what the hell I was talking about. People can buy leggings for 1/2 the price of BRAV's @ Walmart and Target, and I can GUARANTEE that they haven't heard of BRAV, and have PLENTY of money to spend on adwords and commercials that aren't filled with soft core porn.
Fact? No big company is copying BRAV, no big company has ever even heard of brav. No consumer has heard of brav that wasn't directly related to it's employees and/or shareholders. Of course, Danny could have been one of those "big" companies if he got his well quaffed head out of his @$$, but since he's more focused on being a movie star than being a successful businessman, this has not happened. Honestly, not saying ANYTHING would have been enough, but instead, Danny kept yapping about uplist, buyback, private label, commercials, and so on. If you're going to say it, DO IT. If not, STFU! It's been FIVE YEARS, if he hasn't learned by now, he isn't going to. You can't teach old dogs new tricks, and Danny is a dog showing his age. Step aside if you want to see your company make it, Danny. You've done all you can do (and a LOT of what you can't do). It's over, you're back in the .003s, time for a change. Your business model is like your haircut; outdated.
That's a biiiig IF! What IF it hit a dollar? what if it hit 100 dollars?!? Or what IF it dropped back to .0001 like every other pinky scam that ever existed?
Because it's going to tha moooooon! News today for sure, totally legit! lol, make that money!
So sorry. Were you trying their products at the time? Oh wait, there's nowhere to get them!
