BIG ACYD (WIALAN) Update:
"As many of you are aware the company conducted an investor conference call this evening. The call was attended by Wialan management and nearly 200 investors!
Overall the call was a HUGE success IMO with the company touching on many important business topics from the share structure, name and ticker change, financials and contracts in the works.
Share Structure: the company confirmed that there is NO reverse split planned in the foreseeable future. The company touched on the previous PRed 100MM share retirement plan and essentially confirmed what many assumed that at the time that plan was discussed the stock was trading below .01. So the initial plan was to retire to improve the market cap and overall shareholder value equation. Well since that PR the stock has blown away all expectations hitting a high of .08 and now trades securely in the .04 range rendering the original retirement plan a mute point at this time.
Now this was not discussed or eluded to during the call but IMO once revenues are flowing and the company becomes profitable I would be willing to bet shares will be officially retired.
There was also a investor participating share buyback program discussed. There is some confusion around how this will work and we are awaiting company details to better understand how this benefits the company and investors. The more I think about this, the more questions I have honestly so I will reserve opinion until I better understand the program. I will discuss this with Mitch this week.
Name/Ticker Change - all documentation has been completed and is currently with FINRA for final approval. The company is at the mercy of FINRA on this so we all need to be patient and let this process play out.
Financials - the company shared that the financial process has been very tedious as 3 Qtrs of ACYD financials are merged with 1 Qtr of Wialan. I have experience with this in my professional career and let me tell you it can be a Herculean effort to clean up and prepare for audit. The financials will be audited and released ASAP. IMO this will be a very smooth process going forward. Once this first set of financials are released the hard part is over. The company will get current and updates will be timely. During the call the company did share that they are debt FREE and cash POSITIVE!! How many OTC stocks can claim that????
Contracts - although not many specifics were provided in this area, the company dropped some softball type lobs to us lauding to some BLOCKBUSTER type deals in the works and some final just awaiting the other parties sign off for release. The company shared that the expansion into Brazil is a go and they are proceeding full steam ahead. The company addressed the question about is there a deal with Hughes in the works by stating; "We will release news relative to our relationship with Hughes once they sign off on the release".
What do you think that means?? Unless you are really bad at reading between the lines IMO it means the deal is DONE and I venture to say it is a multi-million dollar deal.
There was another very interesting opportunity Victor discussed referencing Netflix, Comcast, etc. The premise was around wifi drain, load Max in the steaming video realm and how it is such an issue for the sector.
Folks IMO this was a HUGE hint that something EPIC is brewing in that area and Wialan is in the forefront of devising a solution to that wifi load issue! A fellow investor Riley very astutely pointed this out in a separate investor chat and I think he is spot on! I can't emphasis enough how HUGE this could be if accurate.
So in summary I was very impressed with how management handled this call. They were by the book relative to what they could disclose and that protects ALL of out investment!
Folks IMO news will be flowing heavy once the new ticker is official. Once that occurs, a great number of these blockbuster deals, updates will be released.
