It is a good day for Patience :)
Sounds like Koh just likes to take the easy way out.
Sounds like we deserve the right to substantiate our claim.
I’m still a firm believer that justice will be served. Silicon Valley has been a bully far too long. It’s time to reduce their power. Changes made by the courts could make this a whole new ballgame. I’m looking forward to that day!!!
When are the appeals decided? Or did I miss that? Life has been crazy around here lately.
Still here and still believing in this company!!! Go Team VPLM!!!
Alice is the law that is Vague and far too subjective and easily used by the court to kill completely valid patents. Why even have a PTAB if this law can snuff out patents at the whim of any one judge??
EXACTLY!!!! Or something else entirely $$$$
“These patents are too general. I'm surprised they even got a patent and won IPR challenges. Seems the PTAB didn't examine the details good enough”
So you believe that ONE federal court judge can understand patented technology better than a 3 judge panel at the PTAB AND the patent office themselves. That those experts who spent YEARS designing and wording this tech and patents to the point where they were finally accepted, I guess, KNOWING these patents would be scrutinized to hell and back, would risk “being too vague”????? I’m sorry, but that’s total BS. I’d put my money on the fact that something is not on the up and up. Koe has never sided against Apple, as far as I’ve seen, which makes it far easier to believe there is some sort of bias involved here. She never even gave VP an opportunity to justify their claims that it is NOT vague, as she states. All this is is another stall tactic that successfully went Apple’s way, unfortunately. I’m anxiously awaiting the appeal. There is just NO WAY these patents could have survived the process as long as they have if they were as simplistically vague as she claims.
Experienced in law, not on the technical aspects of this case.
It was struggling to hit .04 a year ago... argue that.
And
"Lets see. We were told
- patents will never get approved
- No infringement letters were sent out
- VPLM will never go after the bigs
- NO WAY. I'm telling you right now. There is no chance VPLM wins the IPR.
Take a huge guess who was right, every time."
:)
And this one... I can affirm that NO long term shareholder here has based their decision to invest in VPLM on ONE man’s online posts! WE each pursued our own DD years ago, and continue to do so today. This involves gathering data from the USPTO, from the company, and from any other source we can get our hands on. That’s the way we roll! :)
It was only at .45 based on the idea that a sale was imminent. They even had a blackout period. Once the plug was pulled on that (intentionally part of Silicon’s game I presume), the price SLOWLY settled back down (yet still much higher than its low). Most people prefer quick profits, some are willing to stay the course and wait it out. Both types of investors have the opportunity to succeed or fail, playing the game is always a risk. Now if the PPS had slowly gone up to .45 and SUDDENLY dropped back to or below its starting point (.008 for many), then likely I would question it. However, we are not privy to every decision the company is making, hence why it is a stock investment, so we cannot fully predict anything. We do know for a FACT that the patents have all been awarded, challenged, and confirmed thus far through the USPTO & PTAB (over the last 10+ years). PROVEN Lawsuits are in progress, as we banter, and we all know how slowly the court system works (I was once suing over serious problems in a house we had built. That case took well over 3 years, and this case is far more complex and involves big leagues who know how to use the courts processes to their maximum benefit, ie. waiting till deadlines to respond). The company is doing everything it can to stay afloat so it can stand up to the bullies from Silicon Valley. I get it. I accept it. I also understand that the longer this takes, potentially the higher return we could see (especially if it goes the full length of the trial and we are awarded triple damages). So it is my opinion that we Longs have every right to dream, predict, and cheer as much as we damned well please. We’ve done our homework, assessed our risks, and have no need to string anyone along. We continue to stand behind our giant list of FACTS. We’re not biting. Let’s hear it for Team VPLM!!!!! (had to revamp and repost :( )
EXACTLY!!!
We are still far above the point where I bought in!!!! I’m not complaining. I have the patience of a saint. This will pay out, of that I’m certain (IMO of course)
Nicely stated!!!
Amen. On that (and probably many more things), we are in FULL agreement!!
I’d be very happy with that as well!!!
How do you explain the current lawsuits and the multiple wins at the PTab??
Go Team VPLM!!
On the contrary, the companies don’t feel VPLM is a “joke”, but rather they see, like you, that VPLM is a small company and therefore feel they can stomp all over and hopefully avoid paying anything. They are willing to wait it out... because they can.
Can you explain to me what “real court” is and why you feel “real court” is the only way to reach a settlement?
It’s still 7 times higher then when I bought in. I’m certainly not complaining.
Hey, all I know is if I were approaching 70, holding potentially multi-millions of dollars of shares, I’d start gifting them out to friends and family for estate purposes ASAP. What better way to save on enormous taxes! If you can gift them up to $14,000 ea annually, at its current price, think of how much can be passed on to family with zero tax! If this takes much longer I may be doing the same!
The way I see it is I have zero need to defend my investments or beliefs in this company to anyone. At this point, everything you need to know is easily accessible with minimal DD. You either believe or you don’t. You’ll either profit here or you won’t. No need to argue over past points.
So I am just patiently waiting for the PTab to get their SH$T together and do the right thing. Once they do, I’ve no doubts our amazing profits will come to fruition.
Doesn’t matter what he “does” to earn his money. He was the originator of this entire thing, he’s not “just CEO”. He’s deserved his shares. He is the ultimate owner of these patents. He’s believed in them the longest. He’s busted balls getting them all passed through the USPTO, and continues to build the suite with every new addition. He’s fighting every day to keep the company afloat, to make sure that Apple doesn’t win by being the bigger bully. Many would’ve backed down, dropped tail and run for home by now. Not him. He’s promised to fight till the end. I respect that and will stand by faithfully, until I see something otherwise.
7.4 M in volume!!! That’s not peanuts! Somethings brewing. Back up to 8 cents by days end. Excited to see what tomorrow, and Friday, brings!!!!!
Sounds like a good question for a corporate lawyer.
Sounds like someone (defendant) did not turn in their homework on time :-P
DB, didn’t you say Cantor was on both ends?
I’m with you. It happens this way every time
Guess I shoulda used the word “covering”
Or good news is coming and the shorts are all dumping. This seems to happen quite often right before a spike. Go team VPLM!
I love this. Go Team VPLM!!!
Emil’s getting up there in age. Is there something wrong with anyone, including him, gifting up to the tax free exemption in order to reduce their estate taxes at death? Not saying that’s what he’s doing, as I’d have no way of knowing. But it’s sure something I’d be considering doing at his age if I believed that these stocks were gonna sky rocket someday.
I will believe until the fat lady sings!! <3
Anyone have any guesses as to when the PTab might get off their butts and rule on the Apple appeal?? For Pete’s Sake! There’s gotta be a reasonable deadline soon!! What’s going on over there? Exciting pop though. Nice if it continued tomorrow!
Good. Can u dump them at 5 cents please? I’d buy them since I doubt it’ll drop that low.
I believe the current lawsuits going on are in the Discovery stage, are they not?
