I wonder what the numbers say when comparing drunk people who commit violent gun crimes vs. stoned people??
Getting slowly hammered down with low volume for weeks. Seems DEA approval of rescheduling did nothing, at least for now.
Rescheduling will lead to that? It doesn't in any way change the legality of marijuana nor does it make a dent in the illegal market. Maybe worry more about distracted drivers (half the people I see are looking at their phone and not the road).
Sure. However, somehow the shorts never lose. Especially on the OTC markets. When are they supposed to have to buy back?
Long time coming. So, how does Ayr uplist onto the NYSE or NASDAQ? Seems like that should be something to look into if possible?
It is interesting that Andy Harris staunchly supports the Single Convention (1961) and it's outdated drug policies and uses that as a governing force for US law. However, he supported Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris agreement and other UN environmental treaties. In fact, he has supported the American Sovereignty Restoration Act which pops up almost annually and is a measure to remove the United States from the UN entirely.
No way. He will do everything to overturn or render worthless the decision of the people if it is against what he believes.
The argument already happened. I just watched it. The argument is ridiculous obviously and a couple justices were clearly of the same opinion. However, judge Sasso seemed to be on board from the beginning with the Attorney general's argument. Guess we will have to wait and see what the other 4 justices think...
Isn't the Florida Supreme Court hearing on legalization vote for '24 today?
Well. They got the worst possible option in there now. Someone who absolutely does not believe in the separation of church and state and who will go out of his way to obstruct any and all marijuana legalization.
So, what exactly does 'Senate Committee Vote' mean? Does that mean the new version of SAFE would be finalized and then have to pass both the House (again) and the Senate? Or would that be the final vote?
I believe you are correct. After schedule 3, then SAFE banking act needs to pass. Ohio legalization coming this year. Flordia = who fucking knows. You seen who is sitting on the Fla supreme court? May not make it to the ballot. If it does, 60% may be tough but I believe doable for sure.
Any idea why this is blowing up a bit today?
MORE will pass the house no problem today. Unfortunately very little chance in the Senate. At this point, you have to ask yourself why? There are clear benefits financially and socially. An overwhelming majority of the populace supports decriminalization. Even the staunchest opponents know there is little clout in the old school 'making it available to our children' arguments that they perpetuate.
So, is it the paid for agenda of the Senate in general? Do both sides of the Senate have so much campaign and personal money locked up in the interests of big business that they can never vote in a way that represents those that voted for them? If so, is big Pharma driving continued prohibition and very concerned with the competition Marijuana would give to many of their drugs? Being an actual plant, no way for big Pharma to 'patent' it or monopolize and price gauge it's sales.
Is it though? In this day and age people see plenty of things that they either don't believe or immediately skew to match their beliefs.
But this time only by one day....
I am with you on this. Not sure why the volume for AYRWF has become so anemic. Many positives moving forward so what will be the catalyst to bring in actual volume?
When it comes to tricksters, you are addressing the Loki of iHub...
I don't know if it was a 'must', but they did...

If only they had a giant grow facility of some sort... Preferably one that wasn't essentially abandoned and for sale.
Obviously. I mistakenly bought this on the hype of organics and the supposedly good track record of management which turned out to be essentially a scam to getting funding from shareholders into the old CEOs pocket whom then promptly left with zero repercussions.
TGOD has actually never really been a good buy unfortunately, in fact worst buy I've ever seen the last couple years...
It may be a good buy now however?
Nice. Why the big sell off this morning I wonder?
It certainly seems to be. Tons of resistance at every step of the way. At some point there will be bigger moves. Soon, if this kind of volume persists.
Did you have too much coffee this morning? That'll do it. Not sure why you felt the need to post that here however?
Minimum. AYRWF hit it's 52 week high today and shows no signs of letting up. I'm thinking more like 1.25 currently as trade in value even with current offer.
Yeah. There was a chance to buy around .16 but I think this is finally turning around and the company is really stepping up their revenue streams. Getting in now is a good thing.
Could've picked a better entry point?? Not by much. Check out the PPS action the last 3 years...
So you're saying 30 dispensaries in the 2nd largest US market with legalization right around the corner is 'nothing'?
I thought you said the last post was 'your last post here'. Just can't leave it alone can you??
Actually you responded to an spshond post that was not a response to one of your posts. Therefore, you are not only scouting this board on occasion, at least, but also lying about it for some reason.
And yet here you are doing exactly that...
This is a very positive development. No real need to fret about daily swings in PPS as the overall MJ future is VERY positive. I do wish AYR had a higher conversion on their offer but either way, anyone selling at this point is quite short sighted as AYR will trade much higher in the near future especially if they are looking at inroads into New York which is rumored.
Does anyone know if there is an exact date set for the shareholders vote as of yet? The PR doesn't give a date as far as I can tell.
Interesting announcement today about new strain being released. Although it seems Canada has a different definition of what 'high potency' means. 17%-20% THC is definitely not called that in Colorado of California...
Much more interesting, and promising, is that Ontario posted their 'top LPs' list and it shows TGOD having 3.1M sales in Ontario alone. That is about 420% higher (coincidence??) than quarter 3 (680K) and shows the first real sign of organic weed making huge expansion into the market. This is a trend that is likely to continue so operations here could potentially be in the green sooner than investors realize...
You just summed up exactly how I feel about the situation perfectly and will be voting no myself. Worst case is it does drop way down immediately which will give me a chance to double my position. With the growing and distributing already in place in America's second biggest market and new legislation on recreational use and banking certain in the next few months I also believe a 2-3 dollar offer is coming by summer.
Not me. I have seen it go under 20 cents way too many times already...
I agree with this post and think it is well thought out. I also believe Liberty is worth more than $1.50 US without factoring in recreational legalization and so much more if/when that occurs or if other legislation is passed to ease problems with bank loans and credit cards.
With that said, obviously Liberty has been poorly managed and the stock has some old school issues that still haunt it. Also, the penalty for backing out of the AYR deal is fairly large if someone else doesn't offer significantly more and soon. The AYR offer is a bit shady as it comes when Liberty has no real management in place and at a time when MJ stocks in general are on the cusp of MAJOR breakouts. Also, it seems obvious that AYR shareholders are all over message boards and FB trying to push a yes vote to get this done....
Anyone selling for less than $2 US right now is not all that bright...
With federal legalization now very possible in the first half of 2021, where in the US would you rather have 28 dispensaries already set up than in Florida?
Liberty is mis-managed, no doubt, and the share holders have been pooped upon repeatedly but this new Ayers deal seems a bit 'low ball' with massive revenue streams right around the corner...
