Steel,
No kidding!! I emailed the company a few days ago and asked them how a reverse split was supposed to help company value. The answer was that they didn't think it would drop so significantly. I told him that I lost 98% of the value in my investment. I find it hard to invest more to make up for lost ground.
You're right, it would have to increase quite significantly for us to simply break even. I cannot sell and my commission would take most of what I would get back. Oh well. These things happen.
Anyone know the closing numbers?
Mach, have you heard anything new from SSWH? Just checking. All the talk is around CMKX.
blue, thanks for the info.
SSWH: What's the current bid/ask? Thanks.
Anyone know the closing price for MSITF today? Thanks.
CMKX: Did anyone truly think that CMKX would continue its climb without setbacks? Surely no one thought that it work in this manner:
PR, then price rises. PR, then price rises. PR, then price rises. And so on.
This is a penny stock. Most of you have been in this arena far longer than I, but to expect it to continuously rise is not realistic. I have no idea where this stock will end up, and I'm not going to guess either. It will be what it will be.
I'm still trying to buy some more SSWH. No luck so far.
Best of fortune to all.
SSWH: Has anyone bought at 0.0021 today?
I agree. I posted that same message a little while ago. Oops.
zentman, yes, I understood that. It made me think about the "real" scam postings. That's all.
Question for people posting scam notices:
What evidence do you have that CMKX, SSWH, or any other stock is a scam?
I am not discouraging these remarks, but before I "sell all my shares" in a stock based on a scam notice, I would like some reasoning behind it.
I do not believe that a company is a scam due to its quiet nature alone. We are overloaded with information, and when we do not know "everything" about a company (including the meeting notes), we feel shut out.
I work for a mulit-billion dollar company (and no, I'm not near the top), and I know that investors (outside the company) do not know the everyday workings of our company. Most of what we do is classified secret or top secret (military contracts) or is simply company proprietary information.
I appreciate everyone's comments (whether positive or negative) on companies, but please provide some reasoning behind it. Thanks.
tea, if you notice (from your link http://www.communitypress.com/SpecialSection/WestSideProgress/CityofCincinnati.htm), the personnel making all the good money are:
City Manager, Public Health Physician, Medical Director, Council Member - Mayor, and the like.
You don't see policemen, firemen, or other personnel that put their lives on the line everyday. These people are not making $100k or even $70k a year.
I suppose I should clarify my statements: higher ranking individuals (even in the military -- generals for instance) make good money. However, those personnel who do the grunt work are paid in pennies. Now, don't misunderstand me, I didn't join the Army to make good money. No one should become a policeman, fireman, or the like thinking he/she will make good money. But is it not sad that the people we rely on daily to keep the country at peace or to rescue us in times of danger are the least paid and sometimes the least appreciated.
Luck, it is interesting how some people show up to throw a quick hit on something, but it may be simply their opinion. I call the company every once in a while to see what's up. The gentleman I speak with is very polite and informative (legally).
If I lose on this venture, this at least I invested in something that was made to help people. Not that I don't invest in other things as well, but this is something that I hope lifts off for two reasons: one, to help people around the world, and two, to make some money. We'll all make our money in the end (well, most of us), but some people around the world desperately need something of this nature.
To all people who had the patience, this demonstrates that CMKX at least has the forethought to release news when it is most advantageous. It will make for nice conversation on the board tomorrow.
This may be the first time I wish Monday would get here quickly. I look forward to seeing what happens on Monday at opening bell. MMs will have their hands full. Mayhbe we will as well, but with a share price that rises.
A Private First Class (PFC) qualifies for food stamps. A Staff Sergeant (SSG) with three kids also qualifies for food stamps. Spent some time in the Army. Our military is not paid very well. But this also applies to our teachers, emergency medical technicans, police, and fire fighters.
Freqman, you are correct. A little PR about orders and such would, perhaps, help stabilize the price. The big jump will happen, if it does, when orders are delivered and word spreads about how good the product is and additional orders come in.
I imagine you have much more experience in investing than I. It seems that sometimes GWDL is so focused on working that they forget to inform the shareholders.
Freqman, I agree. Haven't selected a number, but unless I hear some news (via PR or speaking to them on the phone), I'm out. But for now, I'm giving it a run. Takes some time to get stuff like this off the ground.
Gob, no, not yet.
Sparticus, I, too, am in on a "diamond" venture. The CMKX board in overloaded with many, many newcomers. A thousand posts a day easy.
sparitcus, I'm in the same boat as you. Have a number of other stocks I'm working on. I did the same as you. I bought in at 0.0008 and then again at 0.0004. Best of fortune to you. See you around.
It would seem to me that CMKX is waiting until the proper moment to release a PR. I am not very familar with the diamond industry, but I believe that CMKX is building a strong foundation at 0.0006/0.0007 before moving up. This may keep them from bouncing from 0.0006/7 to 0.001 and back again.
sparticus, i'm not an expert in this game, but unless bashers present plausible 'facts' and data, then that's all they are -- bashers. Each of these companies is different. I see many comparisons to other companies (i.e., CMKX to QBID). They're apples and oranges. Unless the compared companies are in the same business area, then it's useless to compare them.
I'm bit frustrated with GWDL. If you have an IR person, then that's what they need to do -- interface with shareholders and potential investors. Oh well, back to waiting.
Has anyone been able to reach Mr. Phil Turnets (sp?)? I've called several times and been told he's out until next week, he's not in yet, he's in a meeting, etc. I've e-mailed them as well.
Would like to ask them about the product sales and this reverse split. Any suggestions? Thanks.
Thanks. I don't know how much lower it can go. It's at 0.0002 at the moment. The floor is not much below that.
Pete, companies have to start somewhere. Unless, of course, they are spin-offs of a larger, established company. Otherwise, they must start at the bottom.
Most won't make it too far, but some do. It is frustrating at times, I admit. When this rise in share price happened, most people (even the most savy investors) wanted it to keep going up. But this would be counter-productive like the dot coms of the 90s only in a shorter time frame.
If they execute the reverse split, what would happen to the share price?
I haven't seen anything that was worth posting. I have too many questions. I pick up some more shares every now and again, but just waiting.
I called the company a couple of days ago, and they said similar things. The gentleman I spoke with said that MSITF is awaiting final approval in China and FDA approval stateside. The need for these kits are more prevalent overseas than they are here. In the U.S., we have pretty good medical services when compared to China (and many, many other countries).
Add in the population difference between the U.S. and China, and the need multiplies greatly. I believe this is a great product that will save lives. I trust it will do well, but you never know. In for the long haul.
SSWH: No, I haven't sold out. Just waiting for developments. Understand that nothing good happens quickly in the automotive industry.
SSWH: Mach, I bought some more yesterday and today. I don't have much (630k shares), but thought you would want to know the number.
TFN, amen to that!
Mach, this bickering is highly entertaining.
I wonder, gentlemen, if the shoe was on the other foot, would the Canes fans have the same attitude towards this issue? In other words, if the Canes had won on that call, would you be saying, "No, we didn't beat OSU. The refs handed us the game."
Somehow, I doubt it. I hear the same things from my friends who are Red Sox fans. That's why they play the game. By the way, I'm not an OSU fan. I've been on both sides of such calls in games.
rctrader2, why is AFRT looking good? Thanks.
I agree. Could go either way, but isn't that the way of the pinks?
I added some a few days ago believing that the product delivery and commercial would boost it up. Oops. But, I'm not selling. Just waiting.
My mistake. That's the $64,000 question: when? I believe GWDL may choose to exercise this option if things are not going well, and they may not choose it if things go very well. In this instance, I simply do not know.
Reverse split.
It appears to be headed that way, but I do not understand why. I'm in it long term, so we'll see.
Here's the link on the reverse split.
