Shirrel Rhoades was the guy who took Marvel out of bankruptcy and through the so called comics wars, dude. If anyone can fix Big Red it's this guy.
I seriously laugh at Rick keeps saying like Benny could control this guy. If Benny were that powerful we would all have been billionaires from this stock already.
I think seriously he is the new CEO and this is just his way of moving in. We all wondered how he was paid and now we know. He only makes money if REDG gets back and moves up in value. He clearly thinks it is possible.
If bennyboy were able to turn someone of this caliber into a stooge, he would be a huge force to reckon with and we would all be billionaires by now, dude.
But based on Benny's post on FB it doesn't sound that way
Looks like it. Benny made a rare reply on his own FB that seems to say as well
This got even me to un-lurk. Big surprise.
These are the pictures of the actual foil from the Zwag box site.
And seriously people, this is such a short sighted forum. They have basically added a new revenue stream with the posters and making sales and people are complaining? The only complainers on FB were from the people on this board if you read the comments.
So one product is delayed due to a vendor or whatever conspiracy theory you want to put forth. They have posters in a warehouse they are shipping for $20 a pop. If they have 1000 posters for all 10 versions, that's $200k. Not bad. Who knows, maybe they have more. Maybe they have less, whatever they have it is positive revenue.
Hell they should sell any pins they have left too. People on eBay asking $15-17 for them!
Lmao dude. He did answer on FB that they are timed to coincide. So yer whole rant is off base.
You really need to chillax
Guess this shuts up the people saying the Tshirt isn't the issue and that the comic isn't made
Anyone notice the ad?
There's a difference between getting fined and breaking laws
Based on comments on FB you lost that bet
Most brilliant commentary said in this board since it was created.
Watch the SDCC tape on YouTube. He clearly says the t shirt is a video game license.
Agreed. Whole lot of the same doomsayers. Crap happens and it gets dealt with.
They delivered for comic con. They delivered powfolio ahead of what we expected. They clearly have everything but one component.
Does it suck it was late? Duh.
It's not that he is saying it's not a good or bad idea, he is just counseling DD.
We've seen it shoot up to .0008 quite recently. But many are waiting for them to get current or post some revenue numbers before acting. Also the OS is horrible and many fear a R/S while some (admittedly me) think it could be good if all debt were erased.
It is all a matter of perspective and where you do your research and comfort zone in investing. It is all a gamble and many will give the sage advice to never invest what you can't stand to lose completely. As always discussing with a licensed broker is good too.
Do you have any idea how costly that would be dude?
There's a difference between a black eye and a gunshot to the head. Them taking the black eye in PR right now is much better than the gunshot to their finances they would take trying to do as you suggest.
Killing the patient to cure the disease is not sound strategy. If they did something that stupid I'd be gone.
You dont go to comic cons clearly.
The people in line will all buy 1 thing at least to get signed. So do you want to sell them a $20 poster and get them to sign up for Zwag Box for the comic? Or do you want to sell them a $4 comic, and try to get them to want the foil version of the same comic for $20 a month?
Seriously common sense dude.
I notice no naming of vendor.
Probably to keep the vendor from cutting them off completely or running away with their money.
I remember when Mark had problems with his insurance he sent his fans to them and they quickly fixed the problem. I wonder what would happen if he did the same to this shirt vendor?
They had $20 posters to sell at the con. Much better item than trying to sell $4 comics to make a profit.
If I remember past reports comic con costs them like $100,000 to go to.
That would require selling 25,000 comics to break even (not including the cost)
But only 5,000 posters (probably same costs).
Thats only if they come by sea. If by air it doesnt show.
And there was a big shipment last month that came in.
You are making a lot of assumptions based on nothing.
A dump would be by the company or the officers. They have not sold any shares to date.
What you see is either MMs playing games with stuff or note holders like oceana selling their massive share positions.
REDG took out a crap ton of awful financing out of necessity to get us where we are. Sucks but that is what they did. If it works out as it seems to, then it was the deal with the devil that paid off. It happens.
I agree that initial numbers are likely to be very low, but I hope they ordered a bunch to cover reorders once loser comic shops wake up.
Why worry about facts when you can state a lie and insist it is true and everyone should know if?
First off you don't know what the artwork was paid for and may very well include all the art for the Mark books. And that money goes to the artists not David. I recall him saying as much in the past. Art isn't free and the quality is top notch.
Second, Longo was a contracted ad sales guy and they had to pay what they contracted even tho the guy didn't come thru. But ad sales has nothing to do with the current posters or zwagbox.
Tesla got dropped as you can tell from the posters shown. But regardless, comic creators get paid a % of profits. That's normal. So again you have no point.
Any other alarmist misinformation you care to share?
Why isnt hard to guess. They likely are putting their money into their own businesses or into REDG.
REDG doesnt have new notes to keep it afloat, but they do still are doing stuff. Comic con aint cheap. Plus all the money for marketing powfolio and buying and building out Zwag Box.
How do you not see the benefit? The guy makes 50% of the profit. Plus he is on REDG board and is a major stockholder, so everything REDG makes benefits him as well.
I wasnt saying Brando shouldnt be at the booth. I think that would be awesome and may happen.
I was saying flying in anyone else would be silly.
I dont think the comic will be at SDCC. I seem to recall him making a comment like that in FB
Dude Brando is a huge name. Yer totally on crack with that statement. He's the one of the biggest. He doesnt just have "some" Marvel work, he's had HUGE marvel work.
Avengers vs X-Men
Avengers Age of Ultron (you know, the book that fricking the last Avengers movie was made off of)
X-Men (nearly every title which is the #1 book)
Check out his bio: http://comicbookdb.com/creator.php?ID=1090
Seriously dude, you can dog stuff that you clearly havent read on Powfolio all you want, but there are few current comic artists bigger than Brando. Thats just facts.
Look closer at FB dude.
There are 3 of the 10 posters by him.
There's the two James bond ones (Artemis and Andromeda) and a new one labeled "Thumbs Up" as well.
Until the comics come out, there's like zero reason for them to have the comic artists at the booth. I would be pissed if he spent money to bring them.
You can also get poster tubes for shipping from Fedex and UPS stores in the city. So anyone really wanting to protect their poster will have plenty of options.
Red giant shares a booth with their partner Keenspot right next to Marvel.
Their panel is on Sunday at 4 I think
Last year they posted it.
Brandon Peterson is a huge name dude. What comics do you sell?
And a quick look at his site brandonpeterson.com shows he will be there.
Its not a matter of thoughtful dude. I have gone many times, and poster tubes arent provided by any companies like this.
There are, however, several vendors that sell poster tubes and a FEDEX store on site to ship stuff.
And a meteor could hit the planet.
But we're talking likely scenarios dude. Nobody goes bankrupt when they have viable and profitable products like they seem to.
Buyout? Sure. But bankrupt? They would have to be the worst businessmen anywhere.
You may have grumpiness toward them from your feelings dude, but I could point to five hundred worse run businesses in the pinks without breaking a sweat.
They have real products. That puts them ahead of 90% of the pinks on here.
Several ways this could go:
1) Buyback - If they are cash flush, one easy way to clean things up is a buyback.
2) Reverse split - This gets a bad wrap only because of how a R/S is used in penny land. Where it is bad is if they do it and take out new notes. If they are revenue positive, a R/S could be used to bring us to higher boards, which they mentioned if memory serves in some video or other.
3) Buyout - At these prices, a corporate buyout could suddenly come into play by a major player or even competitor. 1.5 billion last week in one day? It could easily happen.
The key thing isnt the share price or O/S in any of these scenarios. It is whether or not there is real revenue. It seems to be turning this corner with 3 real products in Zwag Box, Publishing and Powfolio.
On that note they just reveals the August theme on FB
What makes you think they would be in at Diamond if they dont come out until end of July?
Mark plugs and Benny and Jenna (who knows who else) at E3. New post on FB page.
This is work and progress and solidarity.
It is the same stuff thats been there since December dude. It dumped like expected.
Free cheap shares is all.
Keep bashing away. Nobody's buying it.
All you have is OLDS, not NEWS.
We have seen no new notes in months and months.
The money they needed was used to get us revenue-producing product that is making more revenue than they borrowed in the past year.
They have zero reason to get new notes.
Dude are you an insider? LOL cuz I went to check out Graphics India in Powfolio and saw they have another title that must have just gone live now, since you said they only have one title...
Buddha --- by Deepak freaking Chopra no less.
Google Deepak Chopra if you dont get the significance.
First off dude, the message if you read it isnt a message to investors, it is a message to zwag box buyers. So dont get your panties in a punch. Even the response to MC was worded entirely to buyers of the box not to an investor.
In the past every message on FB was mostly directed to us. Now that we have real products they arent conducting themselves that way. This was why they had like a major purge of FB of anything to do with investing IMHO.
Secondly it seems to me they are running it like a business and not addressing investors but instead consumers. Thats what I want to see honestly.
If they were sitting there chasing after investors it would mean they need to sell stock. If theyre focused on selling that tells me they are making real revenue.
Take a look at the pink communications out there and you'll see what I mean. All they do is address shareholders to bolster stock so they can sell it. But the real businesses on NASDAQ and the other big boards only address investors 4x-5x a year. Because theyre real and they have real revenue.
Welcome to what a real business with real revenue looks like on the pink sheets dude. I know its not what pennyland is used to, but here it is.
