Interesting post at Investor's Village on LVLT:
The Intrinsic Value of the Level 3 Business Continues to Far Out Pace the Market Price
The unbelievable aspect of the misprice that is over looked and not being recognized, is the fact that the huge free cash flows are TAX FREE! $100 pps is not even close to fair value, and here we sit at the $45 level.
A huge head's up - Level 3 gets the China account - announcement today.
Asia is heating up, and it would make sense for them to grab BJCT. I would like to see $1-$2 for all the patent value.
Wouldn't it be interesting if some Asian investors (say, influenced by what they saw at the conference) started picking up some stock?
Going to California:
Connecticut-based Fuel Cell Energy believes its technology could help replace energy lost since Southern California Edison shuttered the San Onofre nuclear plant in Southern California. Its lobbyist, V. John White, said the company has been “looking to expand” in California.
The trendline should definitely be going up. At some point, it will turn parabolic.
From Silicon Investor site:
Bloom will carry the entire sector. Look what Plug did, and it had nowhere near the marketing blitz that Bloom will have.
FCEL is doing great, getting to EBITDA break even this year. And remember, this is a growing company in a growing industry.
THe Ukraine situation plays into the fuel cell industry's hand, and particularly FCEL, with its European contacts. Europe is looking for some energy-low emissions answers, and FCEL is positioned best of all the fuel cell companies for a Europe play.
And the new Obama Admin EPA rules on clean carbon are being called historic. This will force the energy players and everyone else into a minimal/zero emissions environment, and FCEL is perfectly set for this shift. Things are really picking up for fuel cell sector. Watch what happens. This industry is going to bloom.
Great news this morning - enter the smartphone world!
Mitchell Felder and Randall Goulding - are they shorting NNLX? And should they be doing that, as a competitor company? Aren't there rules against this?
Fortune Magazine had a great article on Fuel Cell industry, including FCEL and Plug

Google to buy LVLT? Interesting article at Motley Fool

Would be much easier for Google to go this route than to try and lay their own fiber across the country
Outrageous post over at Yahoo tonight:
"Major Announcement To Be Released By FCEL (Game Changing Contract Awarded)
Major Announcement To Be Released By FCEL (Game Changing Contract Awarded) Sorry Shorts! This nice up-tick has nothing to do with PLUG or BLDP it's a Major 5 Year award that will change FCEL's dynamics moving forward. And yes it involves a major Government Agency"
_______
If this is true, I think we push $10 fast.

"Coattails"
This little price pop from the Plug play is a tempest in a teapot compared to what is coming. And that is? Bloom. Bloom Energy is going to go public in the near future, and it will make this entire fuel cell frenzy seem like small stuff.
Bloom Energy is backed by some of the biggest names in finance. It is already the fifth biggest VC play of all time, and is backed by a host of prominent investors. The media push around Bloom's public offering will be massive. There is so much money behind it the backers are going to push it like crazy.
And that will be good for FuelCell Energy, who can ride the tide of a new, and much bigger wave.
If little Plug can push us up to almost $5, Big Bloom will triple that.
Watch for the fuel cell feeding frenzy to return with a fury when Bloom Energy goes public (and rumors have it going public in the first part of 2014).
creeping toward 50 cents
Yeah, let's get out of this low end and up into the dollar plus level.
Analyst sees FuelCell Energy poised for large deals
FuelCell Energy (FCEL) is poised to obtain "sizeable" contracts and could reach profitability, research firm Stifel wrote in a note to investors earlier today. FuelCell Energy develops fuel cell power plants. WHAT'S NEW: FuelCell's statements about large contracts during its first quarter earnings conference were "encouraging," wrote Stifel analyst Jeffrey Osborne. Specifically, the company said that it was "waiting on final customer and regulatory approval," adding that "inquiries and activity levels globally remain high," noted Osborne. FuelCell is well-positioned to obtain close to 100 megawatts of large scale projects in the U.S., the analyst believes. In coming months FuelCell will obtain "sizable" deals that will increase investors' interest in the stock and put the company on the path to profitability, forecast the analyst. Osborne hiked his price target on the stock to $4.10 from $2.30 and kept a Buy rating on the shares. Taking a much more pessimistic view on FuelCell was research firm Ardour, which downgraded the stock to Hold from Buy in a note to investors earlier today. FuelCell reported Q1 profits and revenue that were in-line with expectations, but its backlog continued to decline and its product gross margin fell, Ardour noted. WHAT'S NOTABLE: Recently the shares of fuel cell makers have spiked after Morgan Stanley speculated that a battery factory being launched by Tesla (TSLA) could enable utility customers to stop using the power grid. Additionally, fuel cell supplier Plug Power (PLUG) last month revealed that it had sold 1,738 hydrogen fuel cells to Wal-Mart (WMT). In a report published yesterday that was critical of Plug Power, Citron Research said the fair value of its stock is 50c and that "with no fundamental changes now or expected in its business model," Plug Power "has 'bust' written all over it." PRICE ACTION: In early afternoon trading, FuelCell fell 6c, or 1.5%, to $3.23. Since last Wednesday, March 6, FuelCell Energy's stock is up about 64%.
from FlyontheWall site
I think many are misreading the difference between FuelCell (FCEL) and PLUG. FuelCell's share price should be at least equal to or beyond PLUGs.
from a few days ago - " REVENUES: PLUG 7 MIL BALLARD 15 M FCEL 45 MIL and they all have about the same
market cap meaning if FCEL had the same market cap as PLUG its stock price would be 18 !
Cash on hand - PLUG = $10 million
FuelCell Energy = $105 million
$1.6 billion
From Motley Fool:
Management expects the plant to be operational by the close of 2014. "In addition to offering ultra-clean electricity and usable high quality heat, this fuel cell installation will provide reliable on-site hydrogen production that has the potential to reduce costs associated with purchasing, transporting and storing hydrogen," said President and CEO Chip Bottone in a press release. "We estimate a potential market size of $1.6 billion for our tri-generation DFC-H2 fuel cell power plants serving the industrial and mobility markets in the United States alone."
That's $1.6 billion for one type of their product, in the US alone. (Right now they are primarily in the overseas markets)
Will we see $5 this week? Once we hit $5 a lot of mutual funds can jump in and start buying. Also the possibility of being put on a Nasdaq small market index.
Apple may also be on deck. This was posted at Yahoo a couple of hours ago:
ony is the tip of the iceberg.
Samsung is the Fortune 100 company. Look for announcement by mid year. My sources tell me to watch for an announcement by Apple regarding a new computer. It is the size of a hard pack of cigarettes, it has no keyboard or screen and has wireless charging. Keyboard and information are all projected with MicroVision tech. It also has Blue Tooth and scanning. It can be submerged under water without being damaged. Look for Samsung to go to market before Apple. Apple has been hard pressed to compete with Samsung and Apple is hoping to change all that with this revolutionary new computer concept. Both these companies have been working with MicroVision for some time now. Also, on another front, the effort to get HUD's into cars for the 2015 model year is really heating up. Look for MicroVision based HUD's to be offered in several car brands this year."
_______
If Apple is involved, it will be wild.
It is Sony for sure; got this reply from Microvision today:
Thanks for your message. We are extremely pleased and gratified that laser beam scanning technology that MicroVision pioneered is being adopted by a technology leader and innovator like Sony. Sony has a strong history with projector technology, optical technology, semiconductor lasers and consumer electronics so their interest in pico projection is a significant development for the market as a whole. We have seen the announcement they issued and will have further communication related to it next week.
Regarding your question on the development agreement previously announced, here is what we sated in that announcement on the fees:
Under the agreement MicroVision is supporting the OEM’s development of a display engine based on patented PicoP display technology and includes $4.6 million in development fees to MicroVision over the next 13 months. The companies have begun commercial negotiations with the expectation that licensing and component supply agreements would constitute the next stage of engagement leading to the OEM’s introduction of commercial products. At the request of MicroVision’s OEM customer, its name and other details of the contract are being kept confidential.
As stated, those fees were for development work only. Licensing fees and component supply would be part of separate, future agreements. We are still bound by confidentiality regarding the name of the OEM customer in that development agreement and we take that obligation to maintain confidentiality very seriously.
We look forward to providing additional business updates soon.
Who? Or WHO?
on the new agreement -

A lot higher than that now, eh?
And that may well be true. But I think a couple of board members, such as Dr. Voracek, are working very hard and diligently to wrap this up, and have made major moves to do so. And something is always better than nothing.
Yes, I do, when the shell sells.
I think they have $5-6 million in tax write-loss value, roughly the same in buildings and cash, and they have a trading symbol. Nice package for someone to step in to.
Don't they have 5-6 of these clinics in various areas - clinics they actually own? I think David indicated such.
Let's see, a $2 million per annual income, capitalized at 20 percent, is $5 million
Think they can get $7 million for the shell? Assuming tax loss of $6 million, property at $1+ million, cash (unknown) and a stock trading symbol, etc, all wrapped into one package.
75% if creditors cleared? Audit done shortly?
Now if we can get Dr. Stucki to forego some of his millions of shares, we are set for the buyout.
