Listen to the insiders. More insider buying yesterday by directors
I tried to get in the IPO but wasn't able to, and I was never able to justify the PE to buy in. Looking at predicted future cash flows and earnings at $18 it trades at 30X 2016 earnings.. Which is fair for this small growing company. However because the same store sales haven't been as high as their competitors we need a little cheaper pps to buy in 2015. That's why $15 looks good to me.
The CEO buying is also a good sign.
Last Q they also had it at 11. I remember because I had to request off to listen to it live ;)
Lol.. I just wish this thing would go to $15 so I can buy it already! It's too expensive at $20 for another year.
Can't seem to get those two straight up days.
Hey John,
Are earnings estimates trending down or what? When it was at $110 I told myself $80 was a good price. And now that is close I need to figure out why it came down so much.
CEO bought 5K shares on Friday. Insider buying is always good.
Wprt already made a huge run. It was CLNEs chance to catch up.
Looks like it was a dead cat bounce.
I hope so Pack. The shorters are so strong in this stock, it seems they are trying to make another push to lower it to cover cheaper.
In the call last night they said they will be positive adj EBITDA this year. If it happens default risk is a lot lower. Should be an $8 stock at least
There's been 125,000 shares sold around $5.70 I doubt it sinks to $5.25 at the open
Great quarter!!
Looks good into tomorrow. $6+
Looks like James Tu picked up 90,000 shares at $4.30 from an exercised option. He doesn't make that much in salary, so for him to be paying $387,000 for those shares is really promising. Why isn't this at $8 yet??
Good bounce but will it stick?
I agree. I like to get some more known silver rounds when they go on sale. I would probably buy Eagles at a $2 premium, but $3 is insane. Wholesale coins direct has them a little cheaper, I think $2.50 premium
Either way your $19 shares should be fairly valued next year, so if it gets bad at least you can wait it out. Part of me thinks I should start a position now because it should go up eventually. The shorts have come in and it's not going down much yet.
Good luck. Hoping for that $15 because I will buy for sure at that price and double down if it went to $10
I hope your right! If C wins Costco that will be a big catalyst. I also believe they will pass The stress test this week.
I have done a lot of research on QE and the Fed monetizing the government debt but using a bank as a intermediary(which essentially is QE). From my research it seems like they are making the right choices. And now we are close to full employment but the labor force participation rate is low. If we see wage growth (indicator for inflation) I believe more will enter the labor force and keep inflation low. So I feel QE will not cause too much inflation to help the PM. Also read about the liquidity trap on QE. The ECB is a different story. I just think a metal like silver can't go much lower then $10 because of intrinsic value and it's getting closer. I really like $12 silver if it happened
Whether or not the government will continue to own 80% and keep 80% of the profits or give it back to shareholders. It's all in the same rulings and ownership and profit sharing.
It's ongoing for years now. Last October shareholders lost the ruling again for rights to profits, but the ruling may go in favor of shareholders soon. Could be this year, could be another 10 years of paying the government. I do not know the specific dates of court ruling it may be online.
From Bloomberg:
The U.S. government owns warrants to buy 79.9 percent of the equity in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, which buy mortgages and package them into securities.
And I get the taking clause just says the government must pay just compensation for the taking of property.
I'm pretty sure this is a ruling between the governments right to take a 80% equity stake in the two MBS companies VS the shareholders believing it's illegal for the government to take the land (mortgage) from citizens/shareholders. Sounds like a coin toss to me.
But doesn't this pretty much solely depend on the courts ruling of whether the Fed will own Fannie vs the shareholders?
Been looking into this stock but their is a lot of cloudy water that's hard to figure out. Can anyone give me the bull/bear case for Fannie of Freddie?
Now the shorters come out to try and push it to $10.
I'm a silver bull, but what makes you think silver and gold could be a top investment for a decade? I can see slight inflation as we experience wage growth from low unemployment, but I'm not sure how much industrial use silver might have next decade with most of the world economy slowing.
My price target to Buy Long $15. Good luck.
I live in Ohio and my car can hardly start in this negative degree weather. I can't believe you own this but have never tried it! Eating here is what got me interested. I'll admit tho, when I go the stores usually aren't that busy. Sells alcohol too.
I'm guessing in a month we are testing new lows. It's getting interesting though. $15 could be a sweet spot for an investor to buy and hold for life. Every time I'm around a NDLS I try to eat there. The stroganoff is amazing!
That looks like a pretty good guess. It's trading about 48X forward earnings at this price.
Make that 5M in volume. There's only 29M O/S 1/6 have already been traded in an hour.
How did you think it would react?
Most of the price targets for Ndls range between $20 and $27 now. It seems like there isn't a ton of upside at $20. This stock is almost entirely owned by institutions.
There were a lot of people shorting it under $20 months ago. So they still might be strong. 20% earnings growth is pretty good and I'm interested in owning this mid Teens.
I think there's a good chance it stays above $20 today.
Alright so 2014 earnings came in at adj .38c per share. The CC called for 20% EPS growth. That approximates 2015 earnings will be around .46c. Pop a 30X earnings and it's worth $13.68. It could trend down to levels around there. Who knows really that's just the fundamentals.
Risky call but I was thinking about the same. I think, if anything we will see a small pop. It needs to calm its PE down a little. It will grow into its big shoes.
