Is the exercising of the warrants how 3dicon gets financing from GG? I asked Flyers, he did not respond. I'm only asking cuz I don't know the answer.
was the 115k advanced to TDCP? and the other 47k? where did it go?
And is this all part of the financing agreement, GG turns debt into shares at really good discount, and from time to time exercises the warrants for advance to TDCP?
Good stuff boom. You might be on to something. taking that line of thinking further... If the cost of those "rare earth" materials is so cost prohibitive that Schott wont do it, then might it be not cost effective at all (to make more than just a few?). And they did say "may" make it better. Not guaranteed..
I didn't see the deleted message, but I like your response. fascinating... Bump
Thanks Blue. I don't get notified about posts on the chairman's blog, so i have only read a couple. that was a nice read. informative..
well, you might be right. But, they've always been diluting. they have to. and the price has bounced around. dilution will be continuously happening until they don't need it. You can definitely buy then, but it will most likely be higher... unless they go bankrupt, hence the "you might be right" part.
Chem, I don't think anyone is saying there won't be dilution. Dilution is exactly how they have been funding themselves and will continue to do so. This is not a mystery,. VK put up some money, OU is putting up some money, and I'm imagining Schott is paying their own way on the glass. 3dicon will continue dilution to pay their expenses. I think what people are saying is that the pace has slowed, and funding "could" be close at hand. funding would really slow the dilution rate. that would be a pps mover to the upside. Nothing has changed about the circumstances prior to the meeting. I think the pps is cheap here compared to a week ago. I don't think they are going belly up this year, but they may very well get the glass or the funding... They've never had any cash...
okay that was kinda funny
HA! If I knew the answer to that question I'd have to think I was clairvoyant!! Unfortunately i have no idea. In terms of outstanding shares, the last one occurred with about 1 billion shares outstanding. that would be a clue, I think. as for the new rule, I'm not all that up to speed on it. have only heard about it on this board (this is the only penny stock i own). my limited understanding is they could be delisted from the OTC for having a sub penny share price (the exact specs I'm not certain). Victor Keen has stated that they would defend their listing on the OTC. A R/S would be a way to do that, and he mentioned that strategy as being possible. That's a clue. discerning when that might happen is hard. But a prolonged sub penny price would lead a person to start expecting that outcome. If the price action mostly stays above a penny, then it would be more dependent on the OS. and really Razor has had the best info on that rate. I've been here for 18 months and I think the OS was 66 million when i started and is now around 400 million... so you get the idea of how much dilution is happening. It has slowed recently... by how much I am uncertain
I've been thinking about the reverse split that will inevitably come. It's only bad if the sole purpose of the reverse split is to continue diluting. That's definitely what the last reverse split was about. Reducing the outstanding shares for the purpose of selling as many discounted shares as possible to pay liabilities. If a reverse split comes only to "clean up' the balance sheet or make the OS look good as some suggest, that will not by itself be bad for shareholders. If they can keep dilution to a minimum in the medium term, and actually deliver on the image space, funding will come. and it could be significant. A R/S at that point wouldn't necessarily be bad for current holders shareholders. a 1 for 10 split with an increasing share price still = profits.
Don't disagree with your thoughts on entry or re-entry at lower prices though. savvy traders can execute that strategy. most people wont sell though. i didn't sell any (can't follow the action closely enough). I also didn't buy the spike up either. I did buy some of this dump and will buy more in the very likely event that it tests the prior lows. Not in large amounts though. The R/S is out there, and could be sooner than necessary because of the new rule.
I'm guessing that's sarcasm. I think people have brought up some pretty good points on both sides. I was expecting a bit more progress. And i think the most depressing part is there really hasn't been any progress at all on the glass. now, they did get schott on board. i think that is a big development. I guess I was hoping for some progress on that front. dilution and the possibility of a R/S are the concerns (along with the glass). Having said that, i think their future looks brighter than their past. I havent been buying lately. last purchase was some time ago at .0045. I did get in a little today at .0088. PPS today reflects the disappointment. not sure it reflects the recent positive developments. my guess is it goes down even more. I still have bullets and will be waiting.
Don't think that's possible. there is no image chamber at this time.
I really don't see your point as being valid. Their "job" is trying to 'invent" a valid product to take to market. you act as if this is apple trying to decide what to do with their excess cash. this is a penny stock development company that by their own admission has a high likelihood of failure. It's not a "management" issue really, it's an "invention" issue. And you don't just get fed funding because you draw a picture of a pyramid with your stick figure smiling face at the top. Perhaps they should have sought funding sooner... or maybe it was a non starter until recently due to the whole "inventing" part.
Or... is there going to be some substantial announcement. like they have the glass, started on product platform 1 (with a customer) and collected the first installment from OU.. or whatever other substantial announcement you can think of. i think my fear is that people will get all wound up about this and that it will be a letdown. i know i am getting a little wound up even though I'm telling myself not to. it's hard..... I do think it would be nice to have some consensus questions to be asked at the briefing by folks who will be there. Who is actually going? What are the top five questions that need to be answered ????? I for one want to know about the glass. That sure seems to be an important part of what will make C space great. I Can't be there, but I will participate via the webinar.
I really did not care for Wilners management style, or should i say his methods, or his interactions with shareholders via press releases. was not around prior to Wilner, so I don't know how other CEO's handled it, but he put out a lot of BS in my opinion. and the "Wilner rate" of dilution was staggering. I think you will point to the chill and say he did what he had to do, but I just didn't care for him. I like Keen however. a lot. doesn't put out a lot of pr's, but I'm warming up to the idea of just tell us something when there is something worth telling.
I hope this briefing goes down well. I wonder why they are having it at all?? any news as far as strategy, or possible prospects for funding or potential "glass" products could easily be done via press release. and has been pointed out, they haven't said they would be showing anything. Is it as simple as throwing investors a bone and basically a meet and greet with a slide show and a question answering session?. And if it is that, how in depth can they be, as far as rules for giving out information, etc? or is it throwing investors that bone just to do whatever it takes to keep this thing out of the pink sheets? trying to protect .01
it should be interesting. I don't have high expectations for this briefing. at least I'm trying not to. i know no one has the answer, just thinking out loud. things that make you go hmmm...
No worries. i figured. i didn't dance or do any cartwheels.
am i reading that right? .15????? or did you mean .015
I like .15
Lets do that... :)
Why? because of the opacity? why are you so certain that you can say with absolute certainty that that's what will happen. Not saying your wrong, just saying that when someone says they know exactly what will happen, i get kind of dubious... By the way, I'm not a believer or unbeliever. believe the answers will only be known in hindsight. I do believe this technology will only become more and more prevalent... with more than 1 player. but usually there are a few big winners and lots of losers... in most fields anyway..
I meant walk around both figuratively and literally. can they spin the chamber? can they spin whats inside the chamber? and as far as opacity, it can't be done until it can be done. that's how science works. that's the very notion of innovation. not saying that any of it would happen, just not discounting that it could happen (and not entirely sure that it needs to in the case of opacity). limitations of the past are often broken through. have a great day!
I don't believe the flat hologram is the same as the walk around 360 degree view. as far as color and opacity, that's just engineering. It'll come (whether it's these guys remains to be seen). I do agree that the image chamber is a super critical piece of the technology. That is the 64 dollar (or million dollar?) question....
Razor, I agree this is the first real meat and potato news from the company. Things have really changed since keen Took over. I've been working way too much and really haven't been following too closely. Didn't sell a single share. I'm actually in the black now. Months and months ago I thought for sure there would be a bounce and I should sell and get out. Now months later, I think the bounce is because of genuine positive fundamental developments for the company's future.
I'm not selling. I would like to buy more. My average right now is around .017. but it took some nose holding buys at .0026 to get my average down where it is now. i bought many shares at .05, .04, .03 and so on. i get why you think there will be a pullback, but do you have any ideas on where that pullback might land. just looking for ideas on making better buys.
Yeah really... didn't get to read the 8k, gotta go join the rat race for the day, but saw the email/read the letter and some posts. Sounds like a decent development... why doesn't the pps react to this news? also, wonder what flyers thinks of this. i want to hear his take- on why it's bad.i think i like Keen a lot better than Wilner..
I think you make good points. I didn't hear you say they were lying in your original thoughts. others interjected that. you don't need to defend that, you didn't say it... And of course if 3dicon is paying Chinook he is going to say positive things. That doesn't need to be debated. It's obvious. Chinook said he saw Cspace and was impressed. Whoopudy do... I was impressed the way the Rams beat Indy this year. They still sucked. It's a very generic statement. saying they are at the forefront of 3d technology is nice, but it's still quite generic. I'm sure they are , as well as others, working in the groundbreaking field of 3d imaging. he didn't say "3Dicon's technology will certainly be worth Billions of dollars when completed, and it most assuredly will be completed", or some other similar pointed concrete statement.
It's obvious to me that they are struggling to complete a large scale state of the art version of Cspace. No need to be in Denial. It is what it is. It's not going to happen in any specific timeline just because we want it to or think it should. it could easily be years. it could easily just not happen at all. While there is a small chance there is some sort of fraud, i just really doubt that... or keeping something going knowing for sure that it's destined to fail, I just doubt that too. Even though it might end up failing, I think they still believe... All this angst and uncertainty, should I buy, or sell? well... that's what makes a market
Ha. i get a good chuckle out of your posts. Point taken. I concede.... can't really argue your post.
lot of shares moving today as well. are these people left holding the bag yesterday? weren't we around the upper .004s friday before the keen news? it would be nice to see a new bottom in this range.
it seems that no matter how much people have invested here, whether a few k, or 15 or 20k, everyone is left with a few hundred bucks..
I agree with everything you said Eggie, but at the same time, I can see why those things are happening. People have said the OS at the time of the R/S was a round a billion shares. that's nearly maxed out, isn't it? I guess they should of been looking for gov't funding sooner, but maybe they just weren't far enough along. as for the PR's, what are they gonna say? there hasn't been much positive to tell us lately. it's a catch 22 in my opinion. we are starving for info because it's such a micro co., but if they put out a PR each month as jimk suggests, we would just hear the same thing every month.
has Keen been CEO before? I like what he has done so far. Him putting his own money up was a positive thing. It's a step. at the " Wilner" rate of dilution, I think another reverse split is a strong possibility in the around 24 months. Hopefully Keen slows that way down. The R/S risk does concern me as far as I have been buying shares again when it goes below .003.
as far as them being yahoos, who knows.....
yesterday you said you wouldn't buy more because you didn't trust management. what did you mean by that? you think they will do another reverse split? they are liars? what? i would like to know why. if you've stated it in the past i don't recall.
I was gonna ask if you did sell yesterday. You probably will be able to do that several times. i hope you get all your money back! I don't know if esteemed is the right word friend... colorful, hows that. so do you not own any shares at the moment? are you not one of "us" any more? the few, the chosen and the proud....
Did all of those promoting companies work on yesterdays promotion? or were any of them for the recent one. Flip ventures paid out quite a bit of money for this. guess they had to be successful at that price. Can you speculate why the diluters just didn't also dump all the stock they hold? or are they affiliated with Flip ventures.
madman. unfortunately, yesterday had nothing to do with the longs
I see. your thinking very long term, and anything that happens between bankruptcy and total rock solid success is just noise. averaging down doesn't really matter since zero is zero, and 10 bucks a share is a shipload of money.
I like that attitude
are you talking about outstanding shares?
yeah, really. do they do promotion months...
what would it take for you to sell, Eggie. or would you sell at all..I was a little excited this morning watching this thing get up to .0119... i knew it was just promotion day, but still... can you imagine what it would be like on a three week run up to a buck? maybe you can, i know its happened before with TDCP, but not since i've been here. it would be pandemonium around here, right? would you sell? could you sell? or are you gonna hang on to this no matter what?
have you thought about buying in down at one of these bounce points? like .0025. I know your pissed, and we all know what a high risk this is (disclaimer, disclaimer!), but for a few hundred bucks, couldn't you very significantly lower you basis, to the point where one of the once every six year three week run comes?
and i think someone posted that AGIS was missing in action today. hmph... that's strange. how often does that happen?
Whoever did today's promotion: it worked a lot better than the last one did, that's for sure. 22 million shares. i haven't seen that the 14 months i've been following.I figure about 200,000.00 worth of transactions today...
why did it work so well compared to the last one? was it because of the run yesterday. that got it on everyones email alert, followed by todays promotion? whatever it was it sure worked for a while. won't it just come back down now, though.. I mean nothings really changed. or will it continue?
who pulled this off and how did they do it?
are the promoters at lunch? or is the promo done for today?
so they have been buying shares recently and now they are dumping those shares? ... is that why we have seen the increase in volume recently? or do they have a discount deal with 3dicon. two more questions: lot of volume today, are these new folks buying due to the alert and subsequent promotion? and how long does elevated share price have to be there for an uptrend in conversion rates to start?
yeah, I agree with that statement. It was nice to see some follow through with a rise in share price today on some decent news on friday. that hasn't happened in a while.
Can't get too excited though. It is only one day. and the down days still outnumber the good ones by a very wide margin. It'll be interesting to see if the increased volume of the last ten days or so will be maintained, and if share price can continue to make gains. if it can, perhaps the conversion rates (razor has educated us about) will start to be higher for the diluters, and add some momentum..
the good news is that perhaps their is a change in philosophy by the board and Keen. that would be nice.
On the cautionary side folks, nothing that we know of has changed concerning C space. Hopefully they will let us know soon how that is going.
Everyone... what will you do if TDCP does have a run here, say to .10, or even .25???. will you sell and finally be done with it? Glad to get some of your money back and walk away? does it depend on why it goes to .10 or .25?
I'm not saying it will make any move at all. But I've heard a lot of griping (and rightfully so), and people saying just put a mercy bullet in me, or if it just goes to a dime or a quarter, i am out and done. Now is the time to decide what you would do. what your comfortable with. don't wait till the heat of the moment, the frenzy, if you will. everyone will be on here saying how great it is and billions of dollars and the sky is the limit. If you don't have a plan in place, your might end up buying high, or riding it out, right back down here where it is now, and you'll be asking for the mercy bullet and asking why. most of us aren't day traders. that's the reality. decide what you want now, and execute it when it comes.
I've been asking myself: what I will do when the run comes. i'm not a trader. My original intent is/was just to buy shares up to 4k worth. 14 months later, i've learned some about 3dicon. alot of it from all of you, and my views have changed some.
I think for me, it comes down why. if it does ride up .10 or higher on nothing but momentum, I will sell some shares. only enough to cover my original investment. i will let the rest ride. and it will probably come right back down. If it goes higher on tangible good results, i won't sell any shares. I think it will still be a while before 3dicon is a revenue producer, let alone a profitable company, if ever..
i know a bunch of you have quite a bit more money in this than i do. Are you gonna kick yourself if there is a purely momentum run and you don't do anything? just asking...
Thanks for the info Razor. I know it doesn't mean a whole lot valuation wise, but i like understanding how it all works.
