Realistically it's a crap shoot on a political level... as with any pharmacological entity. The data that exists today (coming directly from the company) from what I've seen would give it a leg up on morphine (the standard) w/ a pretty substantial reduction in vomiting, constipation, as well as respiratory safety events. Additionally, it is cheaper than the current standard of care.
Not to mention, the current opioid situation, where this may be a suitable counter for the ongoing epidemic.
My two cents. I'm in with 50K shares @ 1.57.
Adding to my position got me thinking. Since all of us are in the "lotto camp" with SHMP, how many shares you holding? Might help us get an understanding of what impact we have on this board. I have 150,000 @ .0137 avg.
Added to my position at .0135. Doing my part on this highly speculative, unique play! And to think, we only eat "wild" fish/seafood in my family!
Can't say it was all me... but I have a decent starter!
I had assumed the recent equity financing agreement was giving them a license to sell shares, but I may have misread it based on when it is activated. I'll do some more DD in the evening, as I only had about an hour last night when I stumbled across this board.
Precisely. Like I mentioned, this is a lotto for me. Concept is neat, stock is in the dump (or scam impression territory), results are looking good but unknown. Worth a gamble at this point based on the upcoming harvest and what someone will pay for the technology/patents. The only thing that concerns me is the dilution factor, which is probably why the ask leaps back and forth.
Thank you! With some positive news and a little hype, this could easily double. But I did notice someone driving the ASK lower when I was buying. I was willing to buy at market, but was getting filled below.
Just bought my first SHMP shares today. Total lotto play, but the vision and steps that have been taken are worth buying a few shares at this level. Good luck to us all!
Hello... hello.... hello. Echo, echo, echo! Is anyone still holding onto their FPMI shares? It's been TERRIBLY quiet the past year and a half, and I have just been holding onto my shares. Anyone hearing anything?????
Before you all jump the gun on an assumption of a retracement of price per share, you might want to read up on the filings over the past few months. I am placing a wager that these non-dilutive capital raises are moving the company forward to finalize P2 data for CardioPET. This is a major milestone that should provide a spark for the company, in that the data (if anywhere close to P1 - in which it should be) will start to attract the bigger fish, which can move both CardioPET and BFPET across the finish line. Based on the data, which should be overwhelmingly positive in comparison to today's current standard, this company most likely gets gobbled up - IMO.
I'm speculating, but feel fairly comfortable with my investment in this price range - especially when many of the larger raises in the past were done at > 60 cents.
Also, I'm not intimately familiar with One Equity Research, but they did a great write-up on the current state of FluoroPharma. Pretty accurate from what I can tell.

Is there still risk here? Absolutely! But in my opinion, the reward greatly outweighs the downside based on the current price per share. Time will tell. Management has been quiet, so I'm hoping there is urgency to get the train back on its track.
Just my two cents.
If/when SPNGE trades on the greys, can you place orders via Ameritrade? Or do you have to call it in? Just curious... and sorry for the repeat, if this has been asked before.
Did anyone ever get by SpongeTech headquarters yesterday?? If so, what was the update? TIA
Alfie is Doug. I've spoken to him several times.
This message board is full of guesses. Not sure why people are speculating, especially if you don't own the stock. Why waste your time here?
BTW - you can buy SpongeTech in MO. Personally seen them in every CVS I've visited.
There's nothing anyone on this board can do, say, can even possibly know what's going on right now. Everything on this board is just hearsay until facts are given over the coming days.
Formulate all of your conspiracies, pumps, bashes, etc... but as of right now, no one on this board knows what is going on at SpongeTech. With the PR put out this morning, it appears there is more to just this SEC halt. The PR would not have gone out if they were handcuffed by the SEC.
This is all IMO.
Simple question - why can't SPNGE come out and tell its investors how the funding structure works? I, for one, would enjoy a conference call (muted for attendees) to hear how the company is setup and what is going on. Basically an investor update beyond a PR.
Doug has always given his email out to fellow board members. If you have questions, email him at J926@aol.com.
Thanks for your feedback, I gained nothing from that reply.
Email Alfie, he is answering... yesterday I was able to communicate with him via email.
you can hit all other screens in the spongetechs.com site... just not the home page.
Why would you buy a company (DICON) and then close up shop?? That makes no sense what-so-ever. There's more to all of this going on.
If something comes out negatively impacting SPNGE, I'm curious to see what happens with the Dicon acquisition. Does the transaction get negated?
Thanks for the reply KJ... helps, but still uncomfortable with this.
Anyone seen Dark Lady lately? Is she out of SPNGE?
Alfie is in quiet-mode. I think the SEC must have him on hush mode. He usually tries to come out and fight the bashing with name calling and antics, but no sight of him.
i just put a trade through - works okay.
just put up a play trade for a small amount of shares and it was immediately gobbled up. there is substantial buying taking place believe it or not.
GetFugu: After playing with this app for quite awhile last night, I really believe this thing could take off, if given the proper amount of development. With all of the iPhone users out there today, it's hard to really use the Google Maps for a quick search on a particular location, product, etc. With GetFugu, I'm hoping the technology will soon be available to direct me to the nearest location with the "Say It" functionality. If you're on the road and you have the hands free rules/regulations in your state, you would use this functionality more regularly. I haven't found any sites with the nearest location functionality working quite yet (using location services), but I'm hoping it clearly spells out the directions from your current location.
I also like the idea of this potentially helping with price checks (if the technology ever gets there). When you're in the store, you snap a photo or say the name and it will do a price check via the web.
All in all, has some serious potential. Just my two cents... as I know there has been some banter both ways on this board.
It is free and it is about 7MB in size. It runs fairly quickly, but the content is lacking. So far i've found Apple, Starbucks and All. I'm sure this will all grow with development.
Not going to lie... the GetFugu app is pretty neat. I downloaded it on my iPhone via iTunes. Not much on there yet, but pretty slick little interface. Curious to see where this is headed. If companies pay to hop on this and it catches on, could be a great investment.
Hugg, I agree but also disagree. Big stores help get the word out or help create customer awareness just as much as the internet. Some people still don't have the internet but may want a $5 Spongebob sponge.
Where I'm really interested in hearing an update is in Asia. Spongebob is huge over there and if SPNG can tap into that market soon, it could be a great next few quarters.
Of course, this goes without saying, we probably need to understand where all of the current sales are coming from. We just get #'s with no geographical location, names, etc. Perhaps some orders are generating from Asia for the new sponge. That I don't know...
The more I look at this situation, I'm almost thinking the R/S was a tactic to lower the price. These guys have always been able to manipulate the price in some way, shape or form.
I just have a weird feeling that the R/S may be pulled for some reason. Not sure why, I just do...
Spongebob sponges: I want to know when these will hit the major B&M stores i.e. Target, KMart, WalMart, Sears, etc.
No - I see no evidence of him posting anything anywhere today. I haven't tried calling as i've been busy today... not sure if anyone else has tried to get his rationale.
I would like to hear what Alfie (Doug) has to say about all of this. I'm still convinced he knew all along yet spouted garbage at all the people that claimed an R/S was coming.
All, it seems to me that SPNG management is taking some ownership in getfugu. This seems like an huge up and coming app that is soon to be released. Why else would they invest $4 million into this company? I think there is going to be some part ownership disclosures coming soon. JMHO
Got fills at .126 and .142
What does Doug have to say about this? He repeatedly said no reverse split. Seems like he was either 1) lying to us 2) has egg on his face from mgmt.
