Bravo OncoJock!
ATLnsider: Do you have a sense of how long the review by the RA might take given the enormous size, I'm told, of the BLA/MAA submission?
How recently did DI say the were 'currently pusuing a publication'? Anyone?
Contrast the typical approval process outined in the article with this incredible story:

Rod Serling wrote an episode in '59 called The Trial, but the network thought it was too far-fetched, even for the Twilight Zone.
Great work Senti.
Excellent initiative, DD! Thanks!
I disagree. Once the journal article is published, NWBO is freed from the embargo constraints to discuss the results. Additionally, I'd hope that we'll see a significant PR effort in the UK to broadcast the success of the trial. These will, IMHO, bolster share price.
Well done, Senti.
I Like Ike(Esq).
Thanks Senti! This video is the ultimate behind-the-scenes look at what goes on in the markets, particularly the BB. (I, like others, also picked up on the passing reference to 'cure brain cancer' around the 33 minute mark.) As a long long with over 9 years in, this video made me stop and consider what LP and LG and the rest must have been battling over the past several years. The five steps that the 'bad guys' take that Wes enumerated in the Overstock case were also employed in the case of NWBO. Yet, management has persevered and survived. I feel certain that they are bound to confidentiality regarding any legal proceedings that may be or have been underway and therefor unable to inform shareholders at this time. I also feel that there is a good chance that the proceedings that I'm suspecting are bearing influence on the timelines for release of information regarding TLD, etc. This is all IMO, of course.
Well said Ike.
When nothing much else is going on, dredge up the dreaded R/S for a pre-Halloween scare. Here, let me say it five times so you don't have to. R/S R/S R/S R/S R/S
SecureInvest "If you are a long term investor, don't watch the daily share price action."
Kind of like not picking a scab, isn't it?
Skitahoe - Yes. Quite clever!
Another reminder to lock up your shares if you haven't already done so. A huge short squeeze will send the pps flying, especially if there aren't shares available to replace. Here's another way to tie your shares up that I just came across (new to me, anyway):
Q:What can you do to prevent your shares holdings from being shorted?
A:Now what can the average personal investor do to stop their own shares being shorted, as believe me your own broker, if approached, WILL sell your own shares that they hold on your behalf as a nominee account.
There are two things you can do, the first is to certificate them but this is not obviously to everyone’s advantage but the alternative solution is simple. All you do is to phone your broker and put an order in saying that you wish to place your shares for sale at, for arguments sake, double today’s price. As they are ‘on order’ they cannot be lent out by your broker and in turn you are reducing the amount of ‘free shares’ out there that can be used for shorting purposes. And don’t forget to move your limit order up when the price starts to recover, then, that way your shares can’t be shorted – not much but helps :D.
Although an individual personal investor will not normally have enough shares to halt a concerted shorting attack, if a large number of holders did this it would reduce the overall amount of shares that they could get their hands on.
In my opinion well worth doing if not only for the knowledge that your own shares cannot and will not be used in a short attack against the very share that you own.
I'd change one thing in our case - putting the sell order at double the present share price will be inadequate to retain your shares. Set it much higher, if your brokerage allows that.

Outrageous!
AE; WHAT'S UP DOC. Am I losing it,or was there a link to an analyst's blog post that you originally provided? Or, maybe it was in a follow-up post? Thanks
Thanks, Hopefor. Great score on NVCR! I'm sort of in a stupor from waiting so long on this one, but, as I've said for the past three years, every day brings us closer to something. Good Luck to you and all patient longs.
Doc, Heartfelt Thank you
Thank you Dr.B. Yes, I have to keep all of this desire, etc., in perspective. I'm fairly sure that the girls and I will be fine even if NWBO falls flat on its face. I don't expect it to, based on the info that's above board. As this saga drags on, there's an interesting blend of ennui and anxiety that's seeped in. My hair wasn't grey when I bought my initial lot! That was before the last R/S, BTW.
St. John is a paradise. And, like Paradise, there are no casinos, etc.. One or two resorts, otherwise small accommodations. Signs of the hurricane can be found, but largely, it's effects are unnoticeable now. The snorkeling was excellent. And, $6 Painkillers at Happy Hour make it all OK.
And, BTW, my Brown daughter who double majored in Human Bio and Economics, was one of a two-person IR team that brought Moderna public.
Highwayman4life: Yeah, I'm planning the 30/70% route too. You're right about the 1000 cuts. It was originally 1000, but then LP expanded it to unlimited cuts, all out of love, I'm sure. And to think, 11 years ago as my oldest daughter was coming on college age, I invested in NWBO expecting/hoping to make some cash for 4 years of college (Turned out to be Brown for one and Vassar for the other) They've both graduated (Magna Cum Laude), and here I sit hanging on every penny move, up or down. I wonder how a dumb guy like me had such smart kids! They're my treasure. A payoff from NWBO would be icing on the cake.
No, I don't agree. Been in over 11 years myself. If pps gets in the 6 - 8 range, which is my WAG, I'll definitely be selling some to cover cost. I don't know how 'long' you are, but 11+ years is a friggin long time to be holding on, especially in this 1000 cuts stock.
Biosect and anders: I'll add to your remarks biosect with this quote from the Oct 5 PR-
Sojou: Friend of Bill's here. Keep up your great contributions. I must admit though, with all the manipulation that apparently is happening by MMs and maybe funds, isn't charting really difficult?
iwasadiver - My condolences over the loss of your friends. Good post. THANKS
And, the sooner the better for all of us. Well, almost all of us.
I imagine, so this is only opinion, that there is so much happening that’s unknown to the public as a result of so many discoveries, many of them, I believe,as a byproduct of our trial, that FDA had , wisely, revised several of their criteria determining the efficscy of a trial treatment.
AE -Thanks for the link. Pazdur gives the inside scoop on why effective treatments may yet fail their clinical trial. For a lead in to this section, begin at the 28:00 mark. And then consider that the company worked together with FDA in revising the protocol. (Based on reports shareholders have had with the company). Being advised by FDA might be specifically to correct any issues seen that may cause one of the oversights Pazdur mentions from scuttling the trial. This is IMO.
DocLee - What you pose is possible. One can see how the actions of the MM's must wreak havoc on the chartist's efforts. I think it would be very difficult to get an accurate chart with them working the pps.
Scotty, I'm only answering you to tell you that I don't intend to answer you.
Doc, Absolutely agree! As I wrote in a post a week or so ago that quickly and mysteriously disappeared, people should look at the signs that are in the public domain and are obvious, including the acquisition of Flaskworks, accelerated work at Sawston, hirings, blinded data available in the JTM article, 8k's, statements by LL, etc. What should be discounted are all of the theories posted meant to instill doubt and fear - perhaps the two most powerful emotions.
Cheers
Good thread. Thanks!
Today's early run up is a vorspeise of what will be served up in the coming few weeks. I added substantially today. It's still at a price where R/R makes me go for the reward.
My two cents: I wish all the mask conversation on the board would stop. To make masking relevant to this board is quite a long stretch, IMO.
Good post. Consider: There have been over 4 million Covid deaths thus far, and they have come BEFORE this more virulent Delta strain. In a sense, science and the world have been winning big battles with vaccines and preventive measures yet losing the war. I hope the vaccines can keep up with mutations, but I wouldn't bet on it. This underscores and highlights the potential value to mankind of an effective treatment unaffected by mutation. As we eagerly await top line data from the Brilacidin trial, I hope and pray that we are nearing the turning point in the war, at least in terms of the numbers of casualties. Treatment will save lives while vaccine development and administration can get up to speed to eliminate most of the virus from circulation and, thus, win the war.
As MackG points out, there is very good reason to presume FDA will jump on Brilacidin should this trial show unambiguous efficacy. The time from lab to bedside will be incredibly short, especially by FDA standards.
The only price that matters is the one you sell at. Before you buy, do your due diligence and know what you're buying. This is IMO, but that's how I do it.
