Did everybody that elected to receive gift offer and entered their information in the website, get any additional mailers?
I haven't received anything even though I elected to receive a gift for EPGL's new start up.
Should I follow up with IR team to resolve this? Are there others with similar experience?
Let me know.
Thanks for summing it up. Is it on top of the gift equity they were offering up until 1/16/17 in InWith or gift equity in lieu of...?
I don't know how the mechanics works but let me draw an analogy...
If I as an investor wanted to invest in say Snapchat you think I could? It's not currently listed as of today but the owner of Snapchat has all the right to decide whom to let in to own equity before they go public....once they go public our equity is formalized and can be actively traded. I don't see why the new company couldn't decide who gets to invest in this company or issue a stake as gift to...
Am I missing something here?
Do we have to request these gift shares or provided to all share holders on record in Jan 2017?
The more patent the worse this stock performs....there is a disconnect somewhere. What might be the reason?
- large float or highly inflated share structure
- no opportunity to monetize on a steady basis
- big name competition catching up more aggressive players
Understand first to market doesn't mean success e.g. MySpace v/s FB is a good example...
Need to unlock this Mr.Hayes before solving the next technical challenge and getting a patent filed...
Oh man the experience with stock has been the same - run up to the news and fall on the news...
Seriously no hope with such marginal lifts and inability to hold gains. I don't doubt that they don't have the technology it's just that it seems to have zero effect on the ability to hold the PPS.
Call it manipulation by shorters or MMs...I don't see how this is viable longer term without an upgrade in exchanges, which will require some sort of typical OTC moves to maintain the PPS over 10 cents et al
Frustrating at the very least...
Time and time again the float, interest just pushes the stock PPS down...
Not sure what more one can do to keep it up...I think it's the float volume and lack of real demand that causes the prices to keep coming down...
Unless market is in understanding more about the monetization of the awarded patent...or patents in the pipeline and already factored into pricing....
Frustrating, at best!!!
Why Non-Final Rejection? I thought all claims except claim 8 was awarded. Am I correct?
That's a reality hard to see happen. I would love for it to be $14 based on all the techs they have talked about for patent....
I think time and again market assumes this in the pricing and the movement comes to a halt and goes downward....there are many things that EPGL has achieved that if they were in a Nasdaq market it would cause PPS spike and hold relatively well...
I think the share structure of 5 billion is way too high and not many institutional investors holding it...
Now that a patent has been awarded what does getting a number mean? Just administrative paper work, correct? This is just exclusive to EPGL correct?
Also anything concrete for JnJ to negotiate rights to this patent for production or is it dependent on a another patent filed by EPGL/COO?
True dat!!!
The stock prices may still be hovering in this range given than longs have this locked and don't want to sell...
The volume and the buying pressure may not help catapult this to the next tier....
Congratulations Mike and team at EPGL!!!
Hope this will reverse the sluggish trend this stock has had over the past year.
Let's see now how will this be monetized by Mike and team.
The Awareness Campaign is initiated from time to time based on how management sees it fit.
The past several campaigns have been our [EPGL] CEO tweeting to the investor community. Too bad that new investors are not paying attention. It's the longs that continue to buy cheap.
One day they will reap returns that we can be proud of - just saying
Ha ha ha waiting...
I want to believe and hope but have been let down too many times based on past pumps
More CARROTS....
One more chance for EPGL to demonstrate something real!!!
With the way this patent has been filed and refiled and rejected....I am not that optimistic that Claim 8 has any merit.
We are expecting the same players to do the same thing and expect a different outcome....this is the first thing we learn in the evolution process...something has to change to expect a different outcome...
Hope is good but being blind about the facts is akin to being superstitious
Also reason why they had a conf call and dangle another carrot of Vegas conference is because they may have been aware based on their interview with examiner on where the patent was going to head!!!
No leadership and no news.
Not sure what to make of this. EPGL time to get working and prove through actions not cheap mudslinging tweets. The results probably validated the nay sayers
Let's not kid anyone. All claims rejected and Final rejection notice mailed.
I don't know what the process ahead is. It's great that they have a working prototype but no patent ownership. where is the revenue going to come from? Not sure where we go from here.
If we didn't get this patent what is convincing that they get any other parent filed? Tough road in my opinion!!!
Are you serious?
I don't want to spend my vacation thinking about EPGL... listening to smart and smarter minds in the field of vision.
Let me speak EPGL
Future is blurry ??????
Star Trek convention for vision
Smart Vision....
Behold - Wrath of Kahn!!!
A force to reckon with - yeah!!! Is this conference call for real???
I thought this conference call promised a big news and I didn't think that we would have to settle for a Vegas conference announcement
I guess the 'big news' is the Vegas Smart Vision conference - my my
Where is this stock headed???
Mr.Hayes was more tentative than any prior conference calls and called iHub - joker sites - ha ha ha
It's a full biography...so give it time and we will get some nuggets
Patience is a key where EPGL is concerned.
They have technology and patents are coming like we are close to the finish line
Let's get real!!! Run on the news and retract after....this has been the mantra and why would anything be different now?
Low volume, MMs manipulation etc. puts a cap on how much this stock takes off...
Similar eerie feeling as COO announcement.
Will it BHAM or KAPUT?
I am not comparing EPGL with other OTC companies. I am merely asking for their performance.
When the COO information was announced by EPGL earlier this year we had similar expectations prior to the announcement and after the press release the stock took a beating.
I want them to be successful but we could see similar announcement.
Btw, we haven't heard about EPGL's progress on:
Intel relationship
ATT relationship
So EPGL could be short changed.
Let's hear about the progress on Tuesday.
But how many billions will EPGL see is the real question. Just because they are in this industry from an IP standpoint doesn't mean they have guaranteed revenues.
This all depends on if and when
a. Patents are approved.
b. EPGL and JnJ negotiates and translates their relationship into a contract with revenue opportunity for EPGL. JnJ's current contract merely offers both parties to discuss their future relationship.
c. EPGL leadership shows credibility and transparency i.e. With the current strength of staff, team doesn't bestow confidence of a multi-million dollar market cap company.
Also often the devil is in the detail. Who knows what EPGL has to pay universities for having conducted research at their facilities. It could bring a barrage of lawsuits on revenue from universities as part of any of these deals.
Lots of unknown than a clearly defined roadmap.
A patent approval is the basic step what course it takes after an approved patent, if and when approved, is what remains to be seen.
I hope EPGL's approved patents don't follow the same fate as MPDD. Now before some read this and respond selectively, like quoting JnJ's first right to negotiate, which has no bearing on the outcome of such a negotiation, be pragmatic and realistic before blindly pumping.
We have had one too many positive outlook only to see set backs expressed via pps. The stock has stagnated in the last couple of years. For those that weren't lucky to get this stock in the sub-penny land the potential reward may not have been anything like 1000%+ some longs have seen.
I am positive on this stock and need results delivered.
EPGL clearly shows the signs of a mom and pop company and less that of a multi-million market cap company. Of course some my points will be moot as results are delivered.
So humbly - RESULTS PLEASE!!!
The way Twitter rants are coming through from EPGL it doesn't feel like a multi million dollar company, leave alone billions.
EPGL communication team, please conduct yourselves professionally. As it is the Presidential election is entertaining enough - do not distract or get distracted and keep your eyes on the ball!!!
As an investor one is only interested in future actions and results. The past is hardly any indicator of future success. It just allows one to validate their investment decision and hope for past-like results.
Moral: Actions speak louder than words. Deliver results and shut those that have been skeptical.
We are perpetually in the first year of the four year long term hold
It looks like this original patent covers smart lens that EPGL has been touting including transmitting data through smart case...
I may be mistaken but the original patent that was awarded seems very broad and covers a whole lot of mechanics that may interfere with EPGL's claims.
I think EPGL needs to clarify how different is this from what they are filing. I think the fail notification that was provided seems to use this patent in it's reason for the initial fail notification. I think the subsequent phone interview was to discuss this in detail with the examiner.
14/668,957
Where are the loyal longs on this? I need to hear some responses to the patent update that was released today
I think this patent was already awarded to someone from Canada in 2014.

Most importantly review this patent no.: 8,628,194

This patent that was awarded seems like all the things EPGL is claiming but filed long before EPGL filed in 2014 and awarded to this person Anton Sabeta from Toronto, Canada
This notification was just sent to EPGL lawyer today but was discussed in April. It will be interesting to hear EPGL's position on this...
USPTO Update:
New information from Patent Office on some notification...not sure what to make of this...
Can someone review and let me know your thoughts?
I think this patent has been rejected (not final) and being amended to ensure it meets the regulatory specifications - very specific, no?
I am not sure how much longer this will take?
Hopes hopes and more hopes.
It's like saying EPGL will be the only company in the world. Could it happen? May be. Likelihood this will happen? Extremely low.
We need something more concrete that can drive value for shareholders from now on. Btw, I am not questioning the value until this point. I am talking about value from here on.
Conference call was professional and to the point.
Promising future ahead if all falls in place. I know J&J may be interested only in ophthalmic opportunities.
I thought there might be references, in today's CC, to other patents related to Intel, AT&T etc...
Also updates on patents / areas previously spoken about would have been helpful to understand i.e. if they were dead due to newer and bigger priority opportunities related to vision or still living and breathing...
Agreed this is one of many scenarios and so is this one:
J&J may want to buy out but will refuse to pay top dollars with or without patent and EPGL will not budge and the deal goes nowhere except we shareholders can create the fantasy world in our minds!!!
Now to reality:
EPGL is working hard.
Don't build personal dreams on someone else's efforts.
There are lots of layers and hurdles that EPGL has to clear to come out with a victory.
The devil is in the detail until we know how this might evolve.
The PPS still does not reflect the hype we have created in this forum.
Even with the J&J announcement there is no upward pressure...I am disappointed.
I hope the awareness campaign and this news will fuel the much needed increase in pps and bring us to new high territories....
Can someone post L2 for curiosity sake?
The 0.0998 was an accidental run up to the news and it never stabilized there. We know what happened after it retracted from that vantage point i.e. We have never seen it run up close to that mark. Also anyone that bought shares then are still in the red. Let's not mince topics.
I want EPGL stock price to go well into the dollar land. However, it's a steep climb and time will tell if we are able to reach there and stabilize.
More questions on the company operations the more you peel / No validation from partners (Hopefully this time it's different)/ No CFO yet / No updates on Board meetings like regular multi million or billion dollar market cap company would operate.
Structure & Governance gives credibility to EPGL and doesn't make it come across like a mom&pop or a fly-by-night company given that the share holders hopes are high.
