Oh, that looks like a nice shot by LR... it's in the hole, it's in the hole!)
My older brother( by 1 year) and I bought an orange 1972 vw squareback in 1982 for $400, on the spot, in the summer between my sophmore and junior year in college(we both attended the same college, and with 7 kids born within 9 years, and one car between parents and kids, my bro and I "broke the perverbial bank" back then and shelled out.
My mother quickly dubbed it the "orange crate". Lasted another 3-4 years((with little maintenance(one learns as they go I reckon)).
Kodak is quite successful and resourceful juggernaut of a company with humble beginnings right here in the U.S.A. a~ 100 years ago.
Today they have ~44% of their plants in the U.S, ~24% in the Asia Pacific region(8 in China-including one in Wuhan), ~22% in Europe, and the remaining few in South America. Appears the majority of their plants are already here, lest they be like the shuttered Dennison Manufacturing plant in the town I grew up in, now known as Avery Dennison(California based know-I believe), and whose main factory, which employed thousands, was sold off and is know luxury condos for the most part((they still have a couple small offices in the immediate vicinity of the old factory which houses a few accountants, etc(maybe LE is on to something)).
It's a big world out there, and appears that kodak has the majority of it's operations here in the U.S.A, or perhaps operations have been redefined innocuously here in the u.s.a. over the years?

I reckon there are qute a few happy members of congress(insider traders for whom the rules imposed upon the masses not apply).
Likely no risk on kodak's part if they come up short(they won't, let's see what their filings(4"s) reveal inthe coming days and weeks, and same statement applied to the "esteamed"(mis spelling intentional) members of a useless congress.
I think I heard the U.S gov't will reimburse any citizen $2B for each Kodak Instamatic camera turned in to gov't officials- kind of works the way some cities, towns, and states operate gun buy back programs. However, what I think I heard was proceeds, which will come later to gov't/business participants occurs after the tax reforms enacted, ~ 4yrs ago, expire for citizens, and new laws pertaining to taxes/citizens take hold and the haul split 50-50. I heard.
"Up a lot more than that from .05! If people would have listened to you and him, when we were under .10, they would never have purchased shares. But the two of you sure did."
Hog wash. Remember the days of (paraphrased, not hard to find) "this won't stay below $2/sh for long... load up while you can, the train is about to leave the station!"?
Followed by (paraphrased, not hard to find) "this won't stay below $1/sh for long... load up while you can, the train is about to leave the station!". That was years ago, but we are now to believe ipix is steam rolling along at 20 something cents per share after a dramatic rise from 5 cents? Was the fall from $2, or $1, dramatic or was only a small group of people wise enough to foresee the future?
Get real.
"Also on this board, it was mentioned there could be a pact among bigger pharma companies to purposely hold ipix down. Aside from being collusion, that’s akin to asking a tight knit group of teenagers (boys, girls or combo package) to keep a secret about something, or someone important....there’s no way that bubble won’t pop..."
The cfo has pennied himself in with extraordinary mismanagement(at best). Stop pushing, and chasing, the tale.

I agree 100%.
Management has acted more like snake oil salesman than professionals, displaying little modicum of expertise, and, more often than not, most of their statements have gone unsubstantiated.
No one should have a problem answering questions and defending their own words.
"Exactly, too much corruption in the pharma world. Profit over peoples lives is the mantra in the big pharma world"
Sadly, I agree with your sentiment.
Google Blood Sugar Rising, a pbs documentary released a couple months ago, with opinions given by diabetic doctors, technology developers to address it, patients, etc. It is well done, and eye opening.
"IMO, we might just get to skip to phase 3 and/or straight to EUA."
There is such a high number of available patients that I think the fda would label it as a phase 3 and eua since there is a history of B in past, non covid trials. That allows them to study it as they do most drugs. Heck, Moderna is enrolling 30K patients in the USA- with 2 injections per patient, one on day 1 then the second 29 days later. They administered the 1st patient with the drug this morning. I'll bet they reach enrollment in less than 6 weeks. The total enrollment target(30K) could theoretically be filled in a half day in the US based upon recent new cases.
Moderna's completion date is in late October, 2022- imo, the fda for the first time in a long time recognizes the urgency of a quick response (the opioid issue excluded)and wants confirmation of safety.
Down nearly 42% in 23 trading days- clean those rosy glasses.
Prior to this covid issue, they were small time, based out of Cambridge, MA- a stones throw from Wakefield, Ma., but a wee bit bigger now.
Hopefully we got the goods chemically, cause it appears we may be in a horse race with their expertise, and the one armed paper hanger leading the charge for we sh's hasn't really moved things.
Typically sketchy.
I apologize for the rhetorical question I asked, but did not declare as such.
The following read prompted the thought a while back, and the post:
https://admissions.upenn.edu/blog/locust-walk-heartbeat-campus
Agree with all you state.
I've often wondered if Locust Walk has any affiliation with UP- which is where the name was penned.
Hope all of TX starts to fair better cv wise, and wish all there, and everywhere, best.
Thx for your posts.
Should be clear, it has dual meaning, leave it to you to connect the two dots.
It's appearing that the snapped cable may finally have been reconnected to the dump scow, and that the captain of that scow is changing tune, and turning the scow around. Light is dawning on Marblehead.
"Innovation Pharmaceuticals’ Brilacidin Inhibits Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) by Almost 90% at the Lowest Concentration Tested to Date in a Human Lung Cell Line
Company Considering Conducting In Vitro Testing Combining Brilacidin with Remdesivir™
Ipix is considering "Conducting In Vitro Testing Combining Brilacidin with Remdesivir™". I'll take them at what the pr implies, that there is a coordinated effort by both companies to advance research, but also realize it is still in the very early stages.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phases_of_clinical_research
"when we do get a Grant.. will you be giving Leo credit then?:)"
Absolutely. but doubt that day shall ever come, based upon simple history.
We have not ample testing capacity as proclaimed by our primary government leaders. They suck at their job.
The federal gov't is hands off. Our 18 year old son, who is due to have his high school spring graduation this coming summer friday(7/24), thanks to local and state action, got tested today for strep and covid after experiencing a sore throat and temp ~101. Hopefully strep only. He notified his emplyer(landscaping company) and shall steer clear til he hears. Hopefully, he makes it to Denver University this fall as currently planned.
Mean while, numb-nuts makes excuses, gets tested often, and plays golf.
The cfo has had more than ample time to execute deals, if they were possible, as proclaimed. The answer is blowing in the (his) wind.
My head hurts after reading such a response.
Thanks for nothing.
I wonder whether DeGrado was there.
"most of those that really get sick were in bad shape anyway. Covid is just speeding up the process or giving a wake up call to those who have taken very poor care of themselves. america is fat."
Covid is surely not more than a problem than "just speeding up the process or giving a wake up call to those who have taken very poor care of themselves. america is fat.". It can effect anyone- we are now hitting all time records led by the spry, younger states.
But, somewhat back to your point, I think,George Carlin once said fast food leads to a slow death(paraphrasing).
Again, my basis is closed cases(recovered + dead). Me, and only me- I guess, measure the death % upon those two figures. I suspect most of the 309,607 Americans who have contracted cv19 between 7/10 thru 7/15 are still alive and kicking, yet that volume of people is included in your death rate % calculation. Let's hope they all do live.
It can't be substantiated, as all know by now that the cfo is not quick...by any measure, running included.
"Please substantiate this serious accusation.
“Leo got his 6 million and ran...”"
You know not me, or my background. I was not addressing world cases(read it again), but rather US cases.
The world is a big place, and many parts of it do not possess the fat asses, and other morbid/medical conditions which romp around in the US, which increases the death rate of cv19.
Clearly you do not comprehend simple math, nor perhaps context. Italy might have quite better control NOW, like Merkel's (who our great leader has criticized often) quick acknowledgement to German citizens(she has an impressive scientific background-wiki it) in March of the potential of spread. Meanwhile, numbnuts stated it would disappear in April and hoped for packed churches by Easter.
Which nation has fared better, iyho?
A 1% death rate is wrong, at least by simple view. The following are as of the end of today(7/13/20):
A)Total US cases: 3,479,483
B)Active cases: 1,791,767
C)Total closed cases(A-B):1,687,716 (closed cases defined as recovered plus dead)
D)Total Deaths: 138,247
If I were calculating the death rate, I'd figure it by D/C=138247/1687716=8.19%
All numbers but C came from worldometer.com
What a charmin thing to say!
"my goal is for a pinksheet stock to be transparent. ......."
Begs the question- what do see as transparent by this, as shown by their own words, company(mostly by the tell 'em what they wanna hear ceo/cfo)?
Other than that, I find your post quite accurate.
Do you now understand why I said what I said?
It takes not deep thought, nor critical analysis- just simple observation.
Why give he or she the benefit of doubt? It's not like your 3 questions were more demanding than those posed by the troll at The Bridge of Death in Monty Pythons Holy Grail, particularly the last one- what's the average speed of an unladen sparrow?
Ipix is still in the pharma industry's self described "valley of death" when it comes to phase of study:
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1186/s41231-019-0050-7/figures/1
Doesn't help that the cfo's exclamations most often, if not always, get buried in a landslide.
"What are the odds?"
Historically, solely, and this company's-wise ways, the odds are not good.
Prove me wrong, I'd be ecstatic.
Stuck in the middle with you.

"Leo was asked that recently. He reported his health was stable with a recent medical evaluation. If he became incapacitated,Jane Harness
would be in charge until a successor could be found."
Who asked him, how was the message conveyed and to how many investors?
Put an "a" in front of that lone "s", Should read "as is"
"Beep beep - Big picture - there’s more than 7 billion people on planet propaganda yet to be infected."
I'll take your suggestion for what your statement seems to imply, covid's a hoax s is ipix attempt to address it with B.
Thanks for the astute observation.
Thanks, but I'll rely on the comparative, scientifically formulated, graphs.
Liars can figure, but figures don't lie.
"... .
As far as "it's just a few days less" -- ask any patient whether even ONE day less in the hospital is "worth it." The answer is resoundingly YES, and to spend probably FOUR days less in the hospital is a huge benefit.
Don't forget that when you get patients out of the hospital, you are also reducing stress on the incredibly overworked healthcare workers.
I get very annoyed at the cruelty of people saying "what's the big deal about a few days less in the hospital." It is a VERY BIG DEAL."
Agree 100%. Thanks for the factual post.
