Still here. Still believe inthe science, the management, and the potential to change lives.
This is a brief Q&A about the Therapeutic Pipeline Program I'm hoping we see news on this month.
Read the last question of this interview..
https://www.michaeljfox.org/page.html?id=10
This isn't just a "grant" with a check..this is essentially a non-diluting and no cost partnership with MJFF to assist the development of the plan. Noted budget is $10M
Speculaton only...Invitations to proceed to stage 2 were issued right around the retracted "disavow" PR from last year. Perhaps Gerald got a little ahead of himself(overconfident)when AMBS was invited to proceed to Stage 2 of the approval process by saying that MJFF would provide additional funding.
Fact....Per MJFF, announcement will be made this month for the invitation cycle that began last year.
Calm before the storm.....
Ready for the bounce. Been watching this for a few days.... saw that the four's got hit yesterday...it's time to take a position.
Hopefully I didn't miss the boat on the 3's and 4's range..
Agreed. Still looking in hopes of MJFF TPP grant issuance this month.
It's been a long process from when they originally submitted last Fall, but hopefully worth the wait...
Could be that Marks doesn't want to answer a question about a patent protected agent held by a company he sits on the board of.
I'm still happy with the mention and the repetitive mention of "enough isn't known yet." regarding MANF
I'm hearing "we need to find out more."
Thought not always, I agree on this point Hawks...
There is to be word of MJFF grant in May, per MJFF....
But to "expect" it today just because of the webinar involving Dr. Marks is a stretch and may only lead to disappointment and sell-off by the weak investor.
If MANF is mentioned, great...if Amarantus is mentioned, fantastic.
If no specific mention is made....no problem. I truly believe that grant money is headed their way this month. But, time will tell and this is only my opinion.
Call me crazy, but tomorrow is the day of "something" from AMBS. My guess/hope is grant news.
https://www.michaeljfox.org/foundation/funded-grants.php
MJFF has just started updating funded grants for 2013 on their website and 2 of the 3 are continuations of promising results from original grants.
https://www.michaeljfox.org/files/docs/tpp_conf_transcript.pdf
New and huge($10M) TPP program launched last fall to be announced sometime in May per MJFF website....why not on the 1st of the month?
And the participation of a member of the AMBS board on the MJFF webinar regarding trophic factors...
Based on that history, we should be seeing the PR anytime!
Very good sign! MJFF Webcast tomorrow including a member of AMBS's board to discuss the future of trophic factors.
https://www.michaeljfox.org/foundation/news-detail.php?upcoming-hot-topics-webinar-the-future-of-trophic-factors
His buy was only $2500, but that's still real cash to a person not taking a paycheck from the company. It's a sign of faith in the stock and in the future of the company.
Agreed, this is the load zone...with possible news next week from the MJFF webcast or grant news next month.
Grant would provide funding besides dilution.
All the pieces are there...the disavow e-mail last Dec when my guess is that AMBS got the invite to 2nd round of TPP grant(Gerald was just a bit overconfident)...
The holding company structure to provide for separation of asset programs...
Even the fact that the final data was due to MJFF for 2nd round Feb 3rd.... also when they were scrambling to get all data in for the OneMed conference...Coincidence?
Tried to add sizable chuck today but have had to break it down to smaller buys to get through..
Upcoming Hot Topics Webinar: The Future of Trophic Factors
https://www.michaeljfox.org/foundation/news-detail.php?upcoming-hot-topics-webinar-the-future-of-trophic-factors
Participants are MJFF CEO Todd Shearer, neurturin co-discoverer Gene Johnson, and none other than AMBS Scientific advisory board member William Marks.
Marks has done research with neurturin, so it could be focused on that aspect of trophic, but would only assume that he would also discuss Amarantus and MANF potential.
Agreed! News coming and things about to get really exciting around here!
Bargain at this these pps...
My only post for tonight... its my freekin' birthday u nuckleheads... to even begin patent discussion, u need to know what the patent is for.... Per the patent site, Commissiong’s “invention features substantially purified MANF and substantially purified nucleic acids encoding the same. The invention also features a pharmaceutical composition that includes MANF and a pharmaceutically-acceptable excipient, methods for treatment of a neurodegenerative disease, methods for improving dopaminergic neuronal survival during or following cell transplantation, methods for production of neurons for transplantation, and methods for identifying compounds that modulate or mimic MANF's biological activity.

Not just manf, but specific usage, method and way of creating useable solution
Imagine the buzz yesterday at the Business Bio Conference after presentation....
Management is continuing to spread the word of their accomplishments and adding critical members to their team like Russel Miller.
Gerald has proven himself to be a very intelligent and strategic leader. We may be in the dark as to some of his actions, but I am confident that they are in the best interest of the company and my investment with AMBS.
2012, yes 2012 MJFF Grant still up for grabs..
MJFF is not done with AMBS and MANF The “up to $10M” Therapeutic Progress Pipeline Grant from last Fall’s cycle is yet to be awarded.
Per MJFF, it’s due to be announced in May 2013 with funding in June 2013. Non-Dilutive Financing.
https://www.michaeljfox.org/files/docs/tpp_conf_transcript.pdf
Read Bottom page 3.
It clearly states this timeline and deadline for the 2012] Fall cycle TPP grant.
The retracted PR back in Dec 2012 so many point to as a "disavowing" is when the invitations were issued to proceed to Phase II of this grant application process. Based on the better than expected results, Gerald may have been rightfully overconfident in his statement.....time will tell, but I expect news on this very soon.
After several e-mails, I finally received this neutral response yesterday 4/22/13:
Mr. XXXXX,
My firm is assisting Amarantus with investor relations, and your email was forwarded to me.
The company can only comment on the status of its relationships with non-profit organizations or government entities in full disclosure media, i.e. news releases, SEC filings, etc.
We will be providing an update on MJFF at the appropriate time.
Regards,
Don

Investor Relations: Results that Matter
MJFF news coming? Time will tell...
Holding my shares tight.
Agreed, I have more AMBS shares in my sock drawer than were just sold resulting in a 10% drop into red.
Longs have been here, and to still push the phrase, "know what they own."
News coming in the next month regarding partnership and possible grant funding from Michael J. Fox Foundation. Trading is screwy due to CUSIP change, use this as a buying opportunity. When ticker issues are cleared up and news hits, this volume and pps will be a thing of the past.
New here? Read the DD.
Up to $10M 2012 MJFF TPP Grant Still up for grabs
I still think there will be a huge play on AMBS in the next 30 days. MJFF is not done with AMBS and MANF The “up to $10M” Therapeutic Progress Pipeline Grant from last Fall’s cycle is yet to be awarded. Per MJFF, it’s due to be announced in May with funding in June 2013.

Agreed. Cusip/"E" have accounts screwed up for sure.Scottrade has dropped the "E" but my current shares are now listed as AMBS###, which is what I saw prior to/during the last CUSIP change....
Haven't tried to buy today so not sure what ticker would be processed...
Last of my 3 posts..Post 69914
..yes, that is the name of the organization Dr. J mentioned being with.
Again, no confirmation, but it would lead some validity to his stake in the game and the reason he always refers to his group of investors who are of the medical community.
I'm The Dude Playing the Dude Disguised as Another Dude......
Tropic Thunder for non-movie buffs.
Been here long time, longer than posting history would suggest...... no super hero identity or need for secret spy terminology, i.e."disavow"
I have been been involved in the ramp up of a few companies from the inside, and I can assure you a lot is going on behind the scenes here. Frankly shareholders don't need to know and probably don;t want to know every detail.
Done the DD and understand the risks. .
BTW. I am pretty sure that Dr. Jerry is legit. He id'ed himself just prior to the CC....(look back at posting history.)
The name he provided checked out on the Cleveland Neuro Assoc. website he indicated...and they were listed as a beneficiary of stock for services rendered in the 10k, which would explain the "group" he speaks to representing. Just connecting the dots, so not 100% verified.
As I understand it neurturin is of the GDNF family(per Wiki)....And since much of AMBS's latest tests have proven how MANF is yielding better results that the GDNF treatments... it would seem logical to me to test MANF in the same manner to compare levels of behavioral improvement."
Ceregene results out...not good for neurturin...maybe game changing for MANF.
https://www.michaeljfox.org/foundation/news-detail.php?news-in-context-second-phase-trial-of-cere-120-yields-disappointing-results
"Two other trophic factors in pre-clinical development for PD are CDNF (conserved dopamine neurotrophic factor) and MANF (mesencephalic astrocyte-derived neurotrophic factor). Both have been shown to have interesting effects in a laboratory setting. It's possible that down the road, either of these could prove to be as good, or even better, than GDNF or neurturin, but for now we just don't know. The research is yet to be done. The scientific community currently knows more about CDNF than it does MANF. Ongoing pursuit of both is warranted."
Also worth another look.Pending MJFF Grant info
MJFF 2012 TTP Grant announcement is still pending.

"Stage I proposals are required and should be clear and succinct while providing
sufficient details to allow a clear understanding on the science behind the
research project proposed. Stage I applications will be reviewed and a decision
will be made by the beginning of December of this year(2012).
Invitations to apply for Stage II of the review process will be sent out no later than mid-December 2012. At that time, the structure for this Second Stage application will be provided.
Stage II applications will be then due on February 6, 2013 and we will then take a month or so to review those applications and expect to announce the awards in May 2013 and to begin funding the grantees in June 2013."
Despite misunderstanding by many, running for the MJFF Therapeutic Grant from last Fall is still up for grabs. Awardees should be announced end of April/beginning of May.
Posted April 1st...Worth reading again..
"Ceregene's clinical results could be great news for MANF/AMBS!
I believe that they are expected to be out this month.
It would mean that Ceregene has solved the question of delivery method to the brain! That's where Cogane failed..... Their GDNF factor was orally administered and failed to deliver behavioral improvements along with the clinical improvements..
If Ceregene's trials with neurturin yield real measurable behavioral improvements...it could be a great sign for the success of MANF.
As I understand it neurturin is of the GDNF family(per Wiki)....And since much of AMBS's latest tests have proven how MANF is yielding better results that the GDNF treatments... it would seem logical to me to test MANF in the same manner to compare levels of behavioral improvement."

Still here. Still holding. While many are questioning the intelligence of the CEO and his intentions...
I find it hard to believe that after making so many smart decisions in the company structure, the legal defense of rights to MANF, the de-listing from Berlin exchange, addition of real solid members of the neuroscience community, ect.....that all of a sudden Gerald got a case of the "stupids??" Doubt it.
There is more to come here.
As for the volatility we are all tired of, many complain that it's Gerald's fault for acting as if this isn't in "pennyland",
but if the "investors" here are trading/flipping AMBS as a penny stock..... the blame for volatility should be shared equally.
Could I dump my shares now and buy back more if this drops...sure. Some call this "accumulating", but I've only really known it as flipping.
AMBS=worst penny stock I tried to trade early on...will be one of the best companies I've ever chosen to invest in.
Off my soapbox.
Question: If the shares are locked, either for late filing or for CUSIP change so that you can only buy new shares......can't sell the old shares...
How are shares being dumped today?
Did someone buy the new shares all morning just to beat down the price by dumping them in the afternoon. Really confused here...
Agreed. Another curious note is that after scattered speculation of some type of relationship between AMBS and Arrayit, they both filed there 10k's late and the Arrayit reports includes this vague reference regarding their services contracted out and under the heading Strategic Relationships and Licensing Arrangements...
"Arrayit is also providing OEM microarray manufacturing services for a breast cancer test, and CE approval is expected in 2013."
Same breast cancer test?? Speculation.
IMO Nothing bad can come of the CC.
Many times in the past the PPS has risen in great anticipation of news and then immediately fallen due to excessive expectations. With an analyst providing a current evaluation of .20/share and the stock trading at <.10, this is clearly not the case now.
Even if the price increases throughout the day today, with or without 10Q, I believe we are still in good shape to move up on any news/updates/timeline information.
Flippers will flip, MM will play, and shorters will cover, and try to shake the tree, but the PPS of AMBS is headed up… IMO.
Worst penny stock traded..Best investment ever made.
OTCMagic is actually where I first heard about AMBS last Fall.
Wasn't on the Twitter loop, but rather just looked to the website, which I notice today is still lacking an AMBS posting update....could be why impact hasn't been observed yet. Look for the update this weekend or Monday and the volume will follow.
BTW-Based on what I read there, I made my first AMBS buy at .0129....unfortunately hadn't done the DD yet and thought it was just a flipper at the time......let them go a few days later for .029.
Did the homework...know what I own...have been adding to my position ever since.
Pure speculation: I’m betting that during the conference call we will hear of a partnership or that the dilution went to purchase a significant equity interest in another organization holding a delivery method and partnering drug for MANF.
NSgene has been mentioned already as a possible candidate that has both of these items. Doji mentioned a curious LinkEd In connection between Commissiong and the CEO of NSGene. http://nsgene.dk/
Well,….It seems another organization, Neurosearch, is in a major reorganization of its assets and interests, because of their primary drug's acquisition by Teva Pharma. One of their assets that they are considering putting up to buyers happens to be a 28.6% equity ownership of NsGene.
http://neurosearch.com/Default.aspx?ID=8127
“NeuroSearch is in dialogue with several companies with a view to investigating the possibility of a merger or similar kind of transaction as an alternative to winding up the company's activities. A merger or similar kind of transaction could bring new activities to the company which would enable continued operations of NeuroSearch.”
Just speculation.
Totally agree. MJFF Grant announcement is
still pending.

8K further validates the need to continue study of MANF as a treatment for PD.
Agreed. I think solid investors are feeling great about this week and the future.
Weak hands need to just quite complaining, give up their shares, and move on.
This ain't no 48 hour penny stock sprint play.
If some haven't figured that out yet, then they need to get it straight...Have some cheese with their wine and go hop on "Mega Super Duper Penny;s get rich now" bargain call..
Not that is some excellent Scooby Doo detective work!
Speculation...you bet. But, does it make sense with the bits of information that we've been given over the last few weeks...Absolutely.
Can't wait for the conference call and the future of my investment in AMBS!
Great things continuing to develop here.
These MM games will not last forever. I've been in since November and have added to my position several times over.
As I've been saying, this has not been a great penny stock for me to trade....the day-to-day BS and manipulation are hard take at times,....but I know that this will ultimately be one of the best investments I've ever made.
For those calling fraud, and for anyone doubting their investment...Time to wake up..... There is just too much talent and professional achievement involved in AMBS to sell that bogus garbage now. This is the real deal.
Looking forward to the conference call and a nice gradual climb to dollar land.
News was dropped yesterday at 4:01 pm on purpose.
Management is tired of seeing the manipulation happening with this stock abd are going to start making moves to work against those not truly invested in the company. Cusip Change, Name(ticker) change, news after the close with anticipated gap up next trade day..
Mark my words, over the next few weeks/months, this will either be the worst penny stock you have tried to trade, or one of the best investments you have ever seen.
Decision is yours..
Really? Because I'm pretty sure that they were "co-presenting" the data collected from the Dept of Defense funded trials...
If you or anyone else thinks otherwise, they should read the DD links.....or just Google it. You'll find it pretty easily.
Know what I own, love what I own, wish I had more.
Been here since last Fall and it's been a hard few months....
But, it is about to pay off in a big way.
Now I have 3x the shares I had back in January and, with the diagnostics taking the lead to a more immediate cash flow, I'm feeling 3x more confident in my investment.
Because of the early manipulation, this may be one of the worst penny stocks I've tried to "trade",
but it's going to turn out to be one of the best "investments" we've ever seen...
If we have the same surge in volume after lunch yesterday, we'll be saying goodbye to the .06's for sure...
10k anytime. Diagnostics are going to launch Amarantus into the public eye very....very soon.
