CCME - Yes we all saw that. Maybe they needed money to pay for the warrants. At $9.00 it was likely a transfer of shares to someone else.
A buyback which they did not do?-
They approved it two week before the end of the quarter. They are only required to report shares purchased in the quarter on a 10Q. It is highly likely that a company that had never been involved in buybacks, dividends, or anything else, was not able to initiate the buyback, get a buyer broker, etc., in two weeks. So they didn't buyback? Not really. Just didn't buyback in Q2.
CCME - Recodnize the short hits at the bid, but then there are floods of fills above the bid. Wonder if they are covering also?
CCME - It's an exciting thing to watch.
CCME - hope our 'company' trader doesn't have Friday off.
CCME - Hope it makes them happy but they are wasting a lot of ammunition.
CCME - shorts hitting hard and I'm picking up at 14.99
CCME - With this amount of shorting (legal and naked) at a new higher level, and as few shares to borrow as some have indicated, Monday would be a great day for news, any news.
CCME - Persistent little bastards aren't they -
True, looks like a transfer. Would like to give my child 150,000 shares.
Starr sold 10% of its shares, 150,000, recently.

KNDI - I believe that KNDI is on a slow climb to success in the electrified vehicle market in China. With 4% debt, a paid for factory with a 100,000 car capacity, favored treatment by the government, and current margins of 24%, it is about to sell cars in China. Previously KNDI revenue has been electric ATVs sold in the US. Most of the recent rise in the stock price has been due to Seeking Alpha articles by corstrat (post on KNDI/Yahoo), a retired stock analyst who is heavily invested, with an investor group, in KNDI. He has just returned from a China trip and visit to KNDI. Likely next week he will issue another KNDI article. Here are some basics followed by some sites for further DD if you like:
1. KNDI makes a two seat auto which sells for ~ $6,000 (without battery) which is 50% subsidized by the government. While the maximum subsidy is $8,800 it varies based on battery capacity.
2. It comes in two versions, on with a battery and charging capability, and a second without a battery which is leased.
3. The version using the leased lead acid battery is the preferred model. While lead acid batteries provide half the charge per weight, they are one fourth the price of LiFePo4 batteries. KNDI is in a partnership with State Grid Power Corporation to use the battery replacement concept. If you are at your battery limit, you visit a battery replacement station where in a few minutes they replace your leased battery which they slow charge for longer battery life.
4. The State Grid Power Corporation has plans to provide charging post and replacement stations.

Shorts are in the water - EOM
Recall that Starr analysis said there were ~ 80,000 intercity busses in China. CCME currently has ~ 24,000. Only ~ 56,000 to go.
To value1008 - Yes in in pre-market.
Short interest reported bi-weekly -
After hours on 24 Nov. next (then Dec. 9). You can find it here:

Wash Sale - Even though you ignore/mark through the loss on the Sch. D, don't forget to use the sale value for wash sales in the total for sales which is entered on the Sch. D page 1. That dollar value is compared to the broker recorded dollar value for all sales. If they differ by a small percentages it will generate an audit.
0.21 to 0.23 seems very popular - EOM
Maybe 2M shares today. Not really much for a 37M float stock with such dramatic 10Q data.
JADA - Speculation of a buyout for JADA (on the JADA board) as the sudden lack of sales seems improbable.
If they have ceased sales operations I bet the price is already set. Likely by that Bejing store that was presented in the Yahoo post where the CEO was pictured. In that case, what is the company really worth? If you consider the long term contract, 50 years I think, for 40 tons at ~ $300/ton (renegotiable each five years), thats a lot of supposed value. But I suspect the jade quality (white with little green) is the problem with sales so who know what it's worth. However, if a vendor thinks he has a market for that type of jade he may want the company.
So at the companies peak, 2008/2009, it did make 0.175/share average on less than 10,000 tons of the government 40,000 tons allowed. Seem that a value of five times 0.175 times 80M shares or $70M is a fair value - 0.875 per share.
I think the possibility of a buyout is there and a 'clean out' of shares from those ugly Americans might be in the cards.
CGPI - Best things -
They can expand their operations to other areas based on their reputation (recent award) and they have demographics working for them (aged Chinese) and the fact that the new rich culturally and personally love their parents. Also, soon to uplist. It's a LONG hold.

From comments:
"Ms. Han continued, "In the third quarter not only did the Company outperform financially, but we have continued to make strides growing our manufacturing capabilities, expanding our TCM consumer product line and geographical reach, and improving our investor relations and corporate governance efforts. As announced early in the quarter, we are in the midst of expanding our production capacity to 72 tons by the end of 2010. We believe we are well on the way to meeting this goal. We announced in July 2010 the signing of a product purchase agreement with Century Brighton Holdings, which will further expand our TCM customer base and penetration into the wealthy Hong Kong market. We have been well received in this market and look forward to continued growth on both the product side and customer side. The development of our Golden Grass wine and oral liquids are on track and is expected to commence trial production in Q1 2011."

"but still trading in and out like there's no tomorrow"
LMAO - That statement goes without saying.
Yep - But is it dividend or acqusition?
Earnings pops or lack there of - Thanks for the warning so far. I'm lined up for eight that should hit on at about Nov. 15. I'll continue to watch the action. LTUS, CELM, and CHPI tomorrow.
On the dividend - I think he said (or if he didn't he should have said) we are evaluating what to do with our cash. We will do what is best, dividend, acqusitions, etc. So no decision until we fully evaluate all options. Good. I'm not sure what other projects they might have in mind but these can possibly be far more valuable for the cash than a dividend.
On share buyback - They didn't have too much time between the announcement to select a trader and get the cash into their hands. So if they didn't buy anything in Q3 that doesn't mean they didn't do something in early Q4. And as far as now goes I don't think they should do any more above $15.
GHNA - When did you add it to your site? Looks like a great farm to catered table operation for large staff companies. Recommend you all review their operations:
http://www.ghnagrispan.com/en/about1.asp
Too bad for them !
China in General - I don't post often, but what I have always said is we need a break between US gains and China (seen today) and more investment coverage of China as has occurred on Bloomberg today (although it didn't cover CCME appropriately versus other AD stocks). We are getting there. US investors are still unaware of the US registered small caps. They will discover them after the major institustions find them, which is happening. PEs of five cannot live forever.
Value1008, the MMs really control this one. It will go up when they want it to go up.
At this rate they won't have to wait too long to qualify for NASDQ.
am suprised at this price action. Two weeks to earnings. Do people not think they will bust out over 0.01 per share? At 0.40 they must think that (0.02 times four) for 0.08 per year for a PE of 5 is all that can be expected.
Bought today: CGPI, CHGY, ENHD, CSGH, CKGT in anticipation of earning pops. Bought with CCME money.
