Wash Sale - Even though you ignore/mark through the loss on the Sch. D, don't forget to use the sale value for wash sales in the total for sales which is entered on the Sch. D page 1. That dollar value is compared to the broker recorded dollar value for all sales. If they differ by a small percentages it will generate an audit.
