No replies and no interest here? I would think most of you would want this as well. I would.
Check in the bank for a buyout that makes equity happy?
Thanks, LG!
Can someone please point out to me any filings stating that equity will be cancelled.
Where does it say that equity will be cancelled? Delisted yes, but cancelled?
When do we rise from the ashes here like Kodak did? Oh, how I wish we would also be so lucky.
Amazing post! Thank you for SHOWING ME DA MONEY!
What does this mean to us?
In case you haven't checked yet. If using a laptop or desktop, look to the left of your FB page and find "Shortcuts." Then on the right of "shortcuts" click on Edit and you will probably find the group you are looking for on the bottom part of your group list. Edit and change to "Pinned on top" so it will always show under "Shortcuts"
Thanks AZ. I can't recall for sure but didn't you also mention another dividend on top of the regular dividends? Is this a special dividend where we get new shares to a spin-off subsidiary?
Is that good or bad? What is your analysis on that cup?
Thanks! and Lol!
Thanks! I appreciate your reply.
I posted the same message 4x inadvertently. Lol!
The only question now is, will we get paid in cash or we get stocks if our escrows ever become tradable
I was fortunate to scoop up shares of all flavors Ps, Ks and Qs but I stand to make just a little bit more with the preferreds in the event of 75/25 distribution. And yes, I did release!
I saw that. Still got to read it but looks like a Good find! Thanks!
Thanks! What if it wasn't 75/25? According to Az and Monicalaw, the preferreds only get Par plus interest. If we get $100 Billion, is my rough estimate correct? TPS - par at $4B, Ps at $3B, and Ks at $500M. Add interests, it should not go more than $15B at the most. So Commons then get the rest,$85B? $85B/1.2B shares = roughly $70 or $71 per share? This estimates include those who did not release just for the sake of computation. Is this roughly about right? Anyone? Az? Monicalaw? Anyone?
Let's say $100 billion comes back to WMI, how much do commons get per share?
What is the check for? It's not for preferred and commons I assume.
ON FDIC site:
WAMU, which was the largest failure of an insured depository institution in the history of the FDIC, had $307 billion assets, $188 billion deposits, and over 2,300 branches in fifteen states when it failed. JPMC acquired substantially all of WAMU’s assets from the FDIC, paid about $1.9 billion, and assumed all of the deposits and “substantially all other liabilities” of WAMU. The resolution of WAMU through the P&A Agreement was completed at no cost to the Deposit Insurance Fund.
_ - - - - -
https://www.lawinsider.com/dictionary/all-or-substantially-all
All or Substantially All means any conveyance, transfer, lease or sale of property or assets representing more than 75% of the Company’s total assets or revenues, determined on a consolidated basis as of the date of the last audit after giving pro forma effect to the conveyance, transfer, lease or sale.
It's not 100 percent assets for sure. So how much assets were not acquired?
If Ps and Ks are getting FV plus interest. How much are their interest?
I have a little bit of Ps Ks and Qs.
Thanks to you and all who responded. The mere fact that THJMW was silent
when Alice used Kmart as an example where more assets surfaced after it's emergence from bankruptcy should give hope to the most skeptic of skeptics that we may have a chance, notwithstanding that their situation is not exactly alike. When the Judge did not reply to Alice on her Kmart comment, that was good enough for me to hang on to hope. I sure hope this year turns out to be an exciting and hopefully "HLCE" for us.
P.S. I had to research this board to find out what HLCE meant when I firts read it. So for the sake of any newbie here, it means Happy Life Changing Event.
Can you or anyone here enlighten us the significance of this post by Nightdaytrader9 on another MB?

Pending possible payout? That sure is very telling. I haven't been following Lehman for sometime now but I have some CTs there. What's your take on them?
That is substantial. If I recall correctly, at one time you stated you have more commons than Mike Willingham. Using Mike's numbers alone results in an enormous amount of dividends. $1,000,000 x .55 x 31 = $17,050,000.
You absolutely would be deserving if this pans true. I can't imagine how much money you've spent in researching information and you are kind enough to share your knowledge to the rest of us. THANK YOU SIR!
If the 75/25 is not applicable, then how would the distribution be? Let's say $30 billion appeared. How much would Ps, Ks and Qs get?
Did any of you have experience this as well?
This allegedly happened from Blue2boy who posted it on another MB ----
Although this is my first post, I have been here since January 09 as many others. I don't post because I don't know enough to enter into conversation. Although I have been sitting on what I am showing you for over 5 years. I am curious if any others have had the same experience. One afternoon in 2012 I logged into my etrade account with my iPhone. I about fainted when I saw what I did. Thinking it was some kind of fluke, I logged out and then logged back in. The same thing showed up. I quickly took a screen shot that you see below. You will see the date, time, escrows for K's and Q's. This lasted for about 15 minutes, until I logged in and out and then it went away. So my question(s) to the board are:
Has anyone else had this experience?
Could this be what is coming in the future?
How does this happen in a brokerage account?
What do you make of this?
Do the amounts play into any of the scenarios that people have speculated
I have shaded out some of the personal information. But I assure you this is for real.
whoever wants to do so can share it on Ihub. And I probably wont be answering any questions. My only reluctance in sharing this with the board is that it may mislead someone to thinking they have monies coming when we have yet to see it. Please do not go out and buy something that you can not afford. My fulfillment and happiness does not depend on WAMU so I am good either way.
The image is attached. (Attachment did not work so he posted the link instead. https://www.dropbox.com/s/ek2q81l7qejmvqh/ETEST.png?dl=0
Thanks a lot.
Is the audio still available to listen to? If so, link please!

Just got off phone with JPM invester relations

I asked the gentleman i spoke to if i could share this information and he said this all was public information. :)
So i just got a return call back from jpm invester relations about my questions on the r203. He started by saying jpm bought the entire bank etc etc.
So i then explained off balance sheet and sent him a email with this green text as i was on the phone with him.

So then he did say these mortgages r203 are not jpm and the fdicr is holding them. (I am 90% sure he did say the R at the end of fdic)
He told me to refer to pg 300 http://investor.shareholder.com/jpmorganchase/secfiling.cfm?filingID=19617-15-272
in my opinion = My take on the conversation is jpm is trying to get the r203 MORTGAGES and are in a fight with the fdicr.
Is Mike Willingham currently an employee of FDIC?

Then that was the day Steve Susman argued for an annual shareholders' meeting. April 21, 2010. Thanks!
Do you remember the date of this hearing?
Thanks!
What is the date of record on ownership to qualify as shareholder voter of existing common stocks?

Thanks! I was just wondering if Dr. Acharya was still in touch with you.
Btw, I'm loving these powerful arguments from several posters on both sides of the aisle here. They get me excited with my feet about to take off, and then I get pulled back down again and keep me grounded.
It's been a long time since those court hearings. I don't remember. Was Dr. Acharya's valuation ever been disputed?
