That sounds rational, but what about this stock has ever behaved rationally?
How huge?
Last exit and the off ramp was blocked.
Right, this stock (and more specifically, the sketchy management) didn't pull a rabbit out of the hat out of thin air. This smells like somebody running smoke and mirrors and reality will set in soon enough.
That said, I hope I'm dead wrong. lol
So where is this going ultimately? What are we to expect from all this?
Same story, different day.
I should've taken my money in the $5's and ran. Words can't express the aggravation.
This stock won't let me be happy for more than 5 consecutive minutes.
He's the one that first made me aware of this stock. For a while, I'd say listening to him got me in this mess. But now, I'm finally in positive territory on this stock, so I'm much more bullish. $18-$20 sounds good to me.
Ok, so if this thing doesn't fly tomorrow, I don't know what to say. There shouldn't be any more shenanigans.
What IS the upper limit? Say, if the good fortune keeps on rolling.
How quickly the mood changed around here. This was the deadest of dead stocks a couple months ago. Still is really, but you wouldn't know it reading this board the last several weeks. lol
Same old story. Wake me when something different happens.
I can appreciate that normally, but when I see the same pattern over and over, I tend to stop falling for it. I'll believe it when I see it that today will break the typical Vringo pattern of opening up high, then falling back within hours or even minutes. The Force is strong with MMs on this one.
I'd have no problem being proven wrong though. I look forward to it. lol
It's already beginning the slow roll back. This is what it always does.
It's always something, isn't it.
I refuse to get worked up over anything that happens with this stock until it holds some gains. I've seen this movie before Vringo.
Did anybody see the CEO of Activision/Blizzard on Squawk Box this morning? I saw he was guest hosting, but didn't stick around to watch I'm wondering if he said anything interesting.
What did you expect GOOG to say? No response they give is going to be good for VRNG. And they pay lawyers good money to make the response sound omnious.
So how much higher is this really gonna go before we started sliding back under 3 again because nothing's happening?
Key word being "little".
In and of itself, it's 19 days, but it's just kicking the can down the road so they can delay it again, and again, and again after that. So it'll be 6 months regardless. lol All the short delays add up to big ones.
Conceding that author posed it as a question, he didn't really give much reason to think that the workaround doesn't infringe. If he's going to pose such a question, the crux of the article should've been about why and how the workaround no longer infringes. This leads me to believe he doesn't really know what he's talking about.
I totally agree. The judge has done next to nothing for me to have faith that'll he'll do the right thing, let alone do it in a timely fashion.
I still think this iWatch idea is gonna be a miserable failure.
They said at the beginning it was aluminum.
They had some swirling liquid animation that turned into the IPhone 5S. Doesn't mean anything . . . yet. lol
If the 5S doesn't have LQMT, it'll just be confirming what most people thought already. I think most realistic people knew the 5s wasn't going to be LQMT. It's the 6 that'll be the real question. I know there'll be sell off cuz knuckleheads will have gotten their hopes up when they shouldn't have.
This doggone judge. I guess "any day now" is a euphemism for "never".
You're absolutely right. I'm not delusional enough to think that somebody's not going to crack this thing in 2 minutes. That's all some people do is sit around looking for challenges. So there's no such thing as an unhackable/uncrackable program. But if people THINK it is at least for a little while, then that's good for all us longs.
When it comes to computers, there's always a way. It's not a matter of if, but when.
Shareholders only have themselves to blame. Too many people sit back and let management do whatever they want. They're not held accountable by enough people. Laura knows she can get away with it because of the apathy of NEOM shareholders. Her email box and voice mail should crash every day cuz it's inundated with angry shareholders.
With all the shenanigans that have gone on with this judge that defy common sense and logic, why would that surprise you? I'd be seriously shocked if there WAS a ruling today. lol
That does seem weird.
That Microsoft settlement announcement amounted a whole lot of nothing, for the timebeing anyway.
But I really didn't see anything in the article that would impair a company like Vringo's the ability to get recompense for their patents in the future. So for VRNG, VHC, and the like that have actually had their patents validated and have won in court to be down seems lame.
This whole thing is like if you owned a piece of land somewhere, and some random person just came and built a massive, money making machine of a luxury hotel on it without their consent. Vringo owns the land, Google built the hotel on Vringo's land and wants to say they did nothing wrong. And Obama wants to make what Google did easier to do.
But the market expectations and the relative quality of the settlement deal are two separate things. If the market expects something they shouldn't have expected to begin with, that's on them.
What did you think was going to happen yesterday?
So what's the updated timeline on rulings and filings and whatnot? When is the next shoe supposed to drop? I say "supposed" because nothing ever happens like or when it's supposed to with VRNG.
Tell us, what does it mean?
