All the coverage is great, but I would guess most people haven't connected the vending machine to the company who actually make it.
They have been talking about the machine, but with small market cap, many stations won't be saying the stock symbol or that it even trades on the market.
I'm new to pot stock plays and truthfully, my first guess was $MDBX is who put it out. After a little research I saw it was American Green. Then had to look up to see if it was traded- again new to pot stocks.
So I grabbed a decent size at 0.0132 near open yesterday to see how it plays out. Even if we do go down the next few days, I think it could be a very good long term play. JMO
GLTA and long $ERBB
If you notice any big companies that lose suits and pay billions in fees, they usually go up in price. $1-2 billion is a drop in the bucket for $GOOGL.
1.37 on the ask right now on L2. Wow
Sorry on phone. What I meant to say is I'd almost put money on a ruling next week to send shares well over 4-5. I say this cause my august $4 calls will have just expired by then (close to 200).
Same thing happened to my Jan $3 calls this year- less than 2 weeks after expiration big ruling came out.
Here's to a ruling tomorrow! Cheers.
Is almost put money
I was wondering if anyone had heard anything on this as well. I thought I read it was supposed to take place in New York (may be wrong on that)- but had to do with ZTE talking openly about past settlement talks with VRNG.
Was looking for news but nothing yet.
Does this have any truth in it?
http://bit.ly/1l2ARTl
In reference to The Delhi High Court- "The court lifted an ex-parte temporary injunction against certain ZTE products,"
Volume and heading up- any news that anyone sees?
Same fears I have-I was just over a week late on my Jan $3 calls this year from catching a very nice win- ended up being a pretty decent $$ loss- in heavier on the $4 calls and letting them ride- 155 call
Is anyone expecting any significant news to occur during the August 14/15 hearings with ZTE?
Not exactly sure what or how those hearings are conducted. Won't be surprised to see them delayed like so many of the other hearings have been in the past.
Loaded heavy in the August 4 calls and need some good news since my cost basis is around 0.4- been buying these since January and averaging down over the last couple months.
Surprised that a seeking alpha article hasn't been written on if the CAFC rulings uphold the courts decision what VRNG will receive based on actual quarterly results GOOGL has had since the trial.

This is the article on etrade out at 7:04 AM.
"ZTE Corporation has filed an antitrust complaint with the European Commission, requesting it to investigate the licensing practices of Vringo Inc. and its subsidiaries in light of concerns that these practices are impeding fair competition in the telecommunications market. As the owner of numerous standard-essential patents on telecommunications standards, Vringo is obligated to license its patents based on fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory (FRAND) terms in the interest of safeguarding competition in the European telecommunications market. Despite ongoing efforts by ZTE to negotiate since 2012, the company has been unable to reach an agreement with Vringo on FRAND terms."
Especially since they just put out a release upping their guidance for next year to 80 million units (had been 60) and said they also expect 100 million in 2016.
ZTE to ship 80 mln smartphones next year, up from 60 mln target in 2014SHANGHAI/HONG KONG, June 9 (Reuters) - ZTE Corp , the world's seventh-biggest smartphone maker, aims to ship more than 80 million of the devices globally next year, a company official said on Monday.Shenzhen-based ZTE, which shipped about 40 million smartphones last year, also aims to ship about 100 million in 2016, executive vice-president Zeng Xuezong told Reuters in an interview.Zeng also expected revenue from the company's terminal device unit, which sells smartphones and tablets, to grow more than 15 percent in 2014 from a year earlier. At home in China, the world's largest mobile phone market with more than one billion subscribers, ZTE competes with both Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and Apple Inc, as well as domestic makers Lenovo Group Ltd, Huawei Technologies Co Ltd and privately held Xiaomi. Well when this board is dead, 2 or 3 posts before the spike, people posting all day there still. I take everything with a grain of salt and look at multiple sources before I state anything as a fact.
Looks like chatter about possible ZTE/VRNG settlement on stocktwits. Would think if that was true though, more than just a 0.10 PPS jump would have occurred and news would be out by now.
Up nice today with volume.
I have one question that I've been wondering about for a bit- let's say we lose the appeals on both past damages and the jury calculations- theoretically we shouldn't go down since that is already factored into the current PPS. But realistically how far do you think we would slide?
It seems this should be a win win for VRNG, if they get both in their favor would be very nice- but I'm sure shorts would find a negative about it.
Any thoughts?? TIA and GLTA!
Usually in larger PPS equities it can foreshadow a move going in one direction as well. Held true so far- started a few days ago.
I was looking more at the parts that talked about denial of appeal when $FB filed.
New decision out from CAFC relating to damages for patents plays-

Could be promising from the skim reading I did.
**Long calls here**- but personally I doubt the new partnership will be for a hydrogen powered car with PLUG. Could be totally wrong, and I really hope I am, but think a GM or TSLA would have bought them out if they had those plans in work.
How great would a Tesla with a fork lift be though?!?! Haha
$PLUG
Looks like Joseph Re of Knobbe Martens will be leading the appeal for VRNG May 6th against GOOG. Anyone familiar with him?

Nice volume around 3:30. Was hoping it was going to continue but back to slow volume again.
I had to work today, but read the supply came in at 250 vs expected of 251-257. Saw the initial drop after the numbers and the the spike to the mid. 27s. Only to fade late in the day.
Can anyone explain the spike? New to trading NG and wasn't expecting the mid day spike but was able to pick up a few more puts to average down a bit more.
Fully agree. If we get a good number in and start to warm up think it could head back down sub 20s- but I'll be out before then.
That's why I got the July puts. I would have hit august, but no options in that month. Seems like august is usually one of the lowest months on the chart
By buying further out, I'm paying a higher premium but gives be 5 months to be correct and I think in the course of 5 months this will be in the low 20s at least once- all I will need to sell for a profit.
If options or shorting aren't attractive and anyone thinking a reversal is going to occur-- look at DGAZ- it's the ultrashort for NG. Can run hard either way very quick though.
Got some July 24 puts yesterday and averaged down again today. Average is 1.3 and will continue to buy if they head lower - (UNG heads higher). Think next week may be one of the last big freeze we get this winter.
Or at least I hope for both of us. Haha.
GLTA
Got out yesterday at 0.00404 near the eod. Took a hit but glad I came out 4x ahead of what I was at last week.
Now that I'm out, I'm sure it will head back up the 0.xxx or 0.xx range. Haha
GLTA
We have volume!
4.09 level seemed to hold well. I added to my august $4 calls at 0.85. New average is 0.77.
Don't think those are actual trades this AM unfortunately since one was for 16 shares and another for 84. Pretty sure AH and premarket have to end in the xx0 like someone mentioned earlier this week.
I sold some of my May 2.50 calls yesterday at 1.5 (in at 0.67) to take a little profit yesterday near close. Currently in the Feb 3.5, May 2.5, Aug 4, and January 2 and 3 calls.
I was loaded, for me at least, in the January 3 calls that expired less than 2 weeks ago with 65 contracts. Took around a $4500 loss on those as I had bought the core position back in January of 2013 and averaged down when I could. Crazy how less than 2 weeks could have been a huge game changer in those.....GLTA and thanks for all the info over the past year and a half.
4.20 in PM right now on only 4 small trades. Hmmm. GLTA!
Anyone think this setup looks similar to the 2012 setup?
Volume at the end of the year with a price jump into the 0.01xx range. May see a decrease in volume over the next couple months before a pump, if the chart repeats itself.
Anyone hearing or seeing anything g on mechanical problem news?
Some things I've learned to stay away from when you're intoxicated- don't bet on sports, go to the casino, and especially trade! But that's just me. Haha
$357.50 + commissions, which like you said is quite a bit higher as it is based on how many shares you trade. So in this case, not to expensive.
Interesting why a fund would spend so little, especially since they could buy it in 1.5 hours for probably 0.10 cents less. JMO
What strike in the Jan 2015?
Thanks for the info. Guess some that scooped off the bottom flipped for a profit.
Could also be shorts and short call sellers getting some protection or hedging their bet if it continues higher.
I'm long FB weekly $59 calls as well as the March $57.50 calls- but always like to look at all possible options.
Looks like someone got home late last night from the bars and thought it would be fun to open up their brokerage account- 110 shares @ 3.25 at 4:35 AM.
One of the earliest trades I've seen for VRNG.
I had to work today so didn't get a chance to check them out while they were actually trading. I got in the Aug MSFT calls on 8/8 when they mentioned the massive volume on CNBC. Those tripled after Balmer said he would step down- hard to believe someone didn't know something there when they bought those OTM calls.
I'd love to see those cash ITM next week, though. :)
OI hasn't update yet this am on my etrade mobile. Going to check later and see what the number is.
It could be people getting out of them as well. OI going into today for the Jan $65 strike was over 52K. Check the OI tomorrow- if it goes into the 80K range then someone was loading the boat expecting a big run.
If the OI comes out in the 20-40K range, someone was dumping them at what they thought they could get for them.
I picked to some March 57.5 calls near close today. If they run it up into earnings I'll sell and pick up some weekly calls with profits- if they keep it steady or drop it will prb hold onto the March calls.
Really kicking myself for getting out of the Jan $50 calls at $3. Bought them around 2 in November and they tanked off the start- sold for a happy 50% at the time- today would have been a sweet 300%+ win- but hind site is always 20/20.
Best of luck to everyone and would like to see a strong day tomorrow for a perfect "FB Friday" setup v
