This is very similar to what Coupons.com now faces. After moving up the court date in a press release last Friday, Document Security Systems announced its new court date against Coupons.com will be in August (http://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/long-ideas/12/07/2743404/lawsuit-could-be-a-catalyst-for-small-cap-name-document-secur). Could have a big effect on both companies just as RIMM was affected.

It looks like you're right! Up 3.6% already with over 2 hours left! Let's see how the announcement (http://www.trefis.com/stock/dss/articles/132614/document-security-systems-sues-coupons-com-for-three-times-its-market-capitalization/2012-07-16) continues affecting DSS throughout the week.
Thanks for the timely update...this new date could drastically affect share prices sooner than later. More info here: http://www.trefis.com/stock/dss/articles/132614/document-security-systems-sues-coupons-com-for-three-times-its-market-capitalization/2012-07-16
It's very possible. However, after the court date in August (http://www.scribd.com/doc/100198499/-Strong-Buy-for-Document-Security-Systems), the price could hit something as high as $8-9 IMO.
Previous close of 3.89. Should be interesting to see how the lawsuit announcement (http://www.benzinga.com/trading-ideas/long-ideas/12/07/2743404/lawsuit-could-be-a-catalyst-for-small-cap-name-document-secur) will affect the share prices today.

This earlier date should definitely affect the stock price before the actual court date, I agree. Not sure it'll immediately boost up though. Still, it's been performing well so far today.
Company Profile: Learn more about Chromadex
To understand the full scope of ChromaDex Corporation (OTCBB: CDXC), it is best to start from the beginning. In 1999, in response to a growing demand for natural product reference standards, materials, and services, Frank L. Jaksch Jr. founded the company and has served as CEO since 2000. ChromaDex is an innovative natural products company that provides proprietary, science-based solutions and ingredients to the dietary supplement, food & beverage, cosmetic, and pharmaceutical industries. In particular, ChromaDex develops and markets phytochemical and botanical reference standards and materials as well as novel and natural products that have a positive impact on health. It also brings safety and quality to the market with specialized services and scientific rigor.
ChromaDex gained national attention when Jaksch appeared on Dateline NBC this past March to discuss “dry labbing,” a term referring to fraudulent analytical testing practices in which lab results pertaining to the potency and identity of ingredients as labeled are manipulated or fabricated. ChromaDex exposed a company who was “dry labbing,” and furthermore established itself as the gold standard for phytochemical testing. The company even publishes a detailed manual with specifications for nearly every phytochemical in the world. So what exactly does a company that tests phytochemicals do? Every year, businesses, colleges, and laboratories pay ChromaDex to test the authenticity, purity, and consistency of their phytochemicals. In addition, they often pay the company to produce the substances themselves. ChromaDex has been operating out of a large laboratory in Boulder, Colorado for many years, generating cash for the business’ other operations.
Due to the fact that so many companies rely on ChromaDex for testing and that so many universities approach ChromaDex as well, the company has a unique advantage and infrastructure. They are presented with phytochemicals to test years in advance of the chemicals’ production, so they end up being able to make accurate market predictions if they receive large orders from established companies. For example, ChromaDex knew years in advance that the sugar-substitute Stevia would gain national traction after they received large orders to test the chemical components of the ingredient. ChromaDex took advantage of this when a research institute had them test a compound known as pterostilbene, which ChromaDex subsequently patented as pTeroPure.
pTeroPure is the key ingredient in the company’s first (and so far, only) product line, BluScience. The BluScience line is a dietary supplement line that contains five products, each designed to aid a specific ailment. The line consists of TrimBlu, EternalBlu, HeartBlu, MemoryBlu, and Blu2Go; more information can be found at www.bluscience.com. The company is already in the testing stages of another product they hope to use soon in their second product line launch. ChromaDex has received attention from billionaire stakeholder Dr. Phillip Frost, who owns 19% of the company. To learn more, visit www.chromadex.com.
Yes, the article is from June 2011. I posted it to provide anyone who was unaware of the study with more details. Still, the results will be available within a few weeks.
Low Volume, Big Results in today's trading
Today, perhaps in response to anticipation of the results from the University of Mississippi human study that should be released within the next few weeks, Chromadex (OTCBB: CDXC) shot up 9.27%, shifting closing share prices from 0.55 cents to 0.60 cents. At one point, shares were as high as 0.6750 cents. While volume remained somewhat low, the company still performed well and leaves a lot of questions open for how they will perform in the near future. Do you think now is a good time to invest before the studies findings are revealed?
Dell disappoints yet again with 1Q
I'm wondering when Dell will exit the industry? It's been awhile since they were a positive household name, and have been nearly completely replaced with largest technology businesses. Apple has undoubtedly played a role in this. How long do you think Dell can survive for?
Chromadex's BluScience Offers a Natural Alternative to Weight-Loss
With their BluScience dietary supplement line on shelves in GNC and Walgreens, you can expect to start seeing it more as it pops up at Target and Wal-Mart within the next few months. The line offers 5 variations of dietary supplements: TrimBlu, EternalBlu, HeartBlu, MemoryBlu, and Blu2Go. Each variation utilizes Chromadex's USDA patented nature-identical version of pterostilbene, pTeroPure.
You can learn more about the product line here: http://www.bluscience.com/
Initial findings from Chromadex's study of pTeroPure at the University of Mississippi should be revealed within the next few weeks. Depending on what can be inferred from the data, this could mean big things for the company. After high volumes of over 50,000 being traded earlier today, the company is obviously gaining awareness by larger investors.
