Dew, if you don't mind me asking, what is your cost basis like in RVNC?
Typically, October-December is a strong time for coffee bean futures. Farmers are not making money with prices under $100. Unsustainable. With all these newer boutique coffee companies forming, like BRCC etc, should be strong buying coming into the Holidays
Last major run was because of a surprise frost in Brazil. Seasons are opposite the U.S.
Back in again today at $8.72
Blind Squirrel method.
Seems to be the market cap of all the other stocks you've put money into.
Woof woof.
Did they meet their deadline?
Seems you are confusing the ECOC crowd with the investment community. Attending peers are not penny stock investors
Lebby is very conscious of his own reputation, to pull something like that would go against what I know about him. The ECOC crowd would see right through it.
Speaking of zero. I was just thinking about how I've spent so much time on the message boards of stocks I've made a bunch of money off of, or expected to and usually did. Then I thought, how much time did I waste on stocks I didn't own? Zero. I don't consider my time to be totally valueless.
2017; what you can do with polymers, polymers have a chance. "we're trying too" :
Good question. And was this stunad really at ECOC? Huawei could easily perform a Razzle Dazzle on him and get our secrets.
I'm surprised it still exists! Avita let everyone convert to Y shares at no charge through BNY Mellon years ago
Well, it feels good. I didn't go out of my way to keep saying how I spotted this stock early. I roll my eyes at people who do that. Thanks for the recognition. If anything, I was too early, but this stock offered a handful of trading opportunities over the years.
I've managed to be early into a few solid performing spec stocks and made some great friends in the process. Avita was my favorite though. Only one other person I know thought it had merit and invested. Most of my stock friends thought I was crazy carrying around over 100,000 shares into fda. I've really knocked my position down in size but I still believe the company will be acquired at a premium.
236 was here somehow via LPC. Possibly the LPC relationship is ending and we don't know it yet, or 236 forgot to post before ihubs 90 day cutoff so he wouldn't get booted as a moderator.
Either way, all of us Moderators need to follow the rules closely so we aren't vulnerable if he tries to get us removed again. (He was able to get rid of two in the past to make room for himself.
He's done it on multiple boards. Don't let anyone outsmart you here.
I wonder that too. The patents take a year to come through so if that is part of it, it creates a delay. Also, with Tom and Jim's trade secret plan Lebby may have walked into something severely unprotected.
I do find it humourous that the company is often so guarded with what they tell investors but they will open the kimono infront of Huawei.
Good choice. I was hoping for SKIN lol.
New Patent Info
Courtesy of a close friend who has experience navigating the annoying USPTO site.

15/857336 - PROTECTION LAYERS FOR POLYMER MODULATORS/WAVEGUIDES - Becker; Richard; (Cupertino, CA) ;
Lebby; Michael; (San Francisco, CA) ; Yi; Youngwoo; (Louisville, CO) - Published 7/4/19
Abstract
A polymer waveguide/modulator including a lower cladding layer, a polymer core, an upper cladding layer, a
first protection/barrier layer sandwiched between the lower cladding layer and the core, and a second
protection/barrier layer sandwiched between the core and the upper cladding layer. The protection/barrier
layers designed to protect the cladding layers and the core from solvents and gases and to prevent current
leakage between the cladding layers and the core. The first protection/barrier layer is optically transparent
and designed with a refractive index less than, greater than, or the same as the refractive index of the core
and approximately equal to the refractive index of the lower cladding layer. The second protection/barrier
layer is optically transparent and designed with a refractive index less than, greater than, or the
same as the refractive index of the core and approximately equal to the refractive index of the upper cladding layer.
15/812630 - GUIDE TRANSITION DEVICE WITH DIGITAL GRATING DEFLECTORS AND METHOD - Lebby; Michael; (San Francisco, CA) ;
Leonberger; Frederick J; (Sarasota, FL) - Published 5/16/19
Abstract
A guide transition device including a light source designed to generate a light beam, a light input port on a
first plane and coupled to receive the light beam from the light source, a light output port on a second
plane different than the first plane, the light output port designed to couple a received light beam to output
equipment and plane shifting apparatus coupled to receive the light beam from the light input port on the first
plane and to shift or transfer the light beam to the second plane. The plane shifting apparatus including one or
more digital gratings each designed to deflect the light beam approximately ninety degrees.
The plane shifting apparatus is coupled to transfer the light beam to the light output port on the second plane.

I will re-read
Have to keep in mind, the 2k/5k was for the new material. That is separate from testing times of the older material infused modulators.
Did anyone notice who the highest paying sponsor was for ECOC??
China's infamous tech company; Huawei...
I'm surprised Tom Z let Lebby travel there. The Chinese IP Boogeyman has lived under Lightwave's bed for a long time. Wonder if it was controversial for ECOC to take Huawei's money?
I purchased shares today. What we've learned from the ECOC presentation is meaningful. Speaking at ECOC, I can understand why Lebby didn't include anything about business development. That is what he will discuss off the podium.
Yes, but Michael released all this new information in a package designed for peers and that leaves investors in the dark. Without Photonics Guy, we would not have this helpful interpretation from someone who is looking through the eyes of both an investor and a peer in the industry.
Thank God for Photonics Guy.
I wish. Smiling shareholders was directed at about 95% of investors I've seen speak with Lebby. The tough questions seem to wash away or get severely curbed in person.
I'm glad you finally came around to asking for an alternative to LPC. That would have been a great conversation to have with Lebby about two years ago. At this point, a stepping stone partner, suggests we will not be ready for a partnership with a company or to be acquired for a while longer. Which may be the case, but not what anyone is expecting.
You're finding out why his name isn't Pronto
Unfortunately, decerning investors (who are taken seriously) asking pointed questions are a minority. Most shareholders who have some real power with MGMT sit with smiles and avoid unpleasantries.
Picked up 10,000 shares of this stock yesterday. Anyone here communicate with Investor Relations regularly?
ECOC and the share price are not connected very much. Being in Ireland this time, there will be no peripheral meetings between Lebby and the European investors.
Wasn't easy to buy shares today, bids would get pinged for low odd lots to screw up your offer.
Proto said "In what year did this occur? This is the first I have heard of this, do you have links to the "evidence" that proves/supports this statement?"
Proto, look at the shares outstanding when LPC showed up in 2011 and then the shares outstanding currently. Tens of millions more shares. Most going to LPC and later resold, otherwise they would have crossed the 5% threshold long ago. It's very easy to figure out.
What proof do you have that indicates what they are currently holding?
PG, LPC is a sore subject. I 100% agree with your opinion. Years ago when I was suggesting LPC was flipping the stock, some well respected investors
believed that LPC was a convicted shareholder... It wasn't until the shares LPC purchased far exceeded 5% (with no SEC filings) that we had evidence. And it wasn't until just recently that the majority seem to agree LPC needs to go.
Most investors' understanding of capital markets and the benefits that come with real financial partners is minimal.
Our problem currently is that Jim is somehow beholden to LPC and Lebby somewhat contemptuous towards the savvy investment community that will want a say and/or some accountability on progress and maximizing value. Furthermore, what motivation is there to make a change when your larger investors aren't raising it as an import issue?
My realistic expectations precede me. Like a bad smell. Able to enter the nostrils of anyone, be their head in the sand or the clouds.
Very unlikely Motley Fool would recommend any companies financed by Lincoln Park.
It's mostly because the share price is the same. No one would care what happened 6 years ago if the company added some shareholder value while making technological progress.
Bintz left or was let go because the LSS testing at the time finished and the relationship between Lightwave and the LSS wasn't going any further.
Land of Lincoln. .67 cents for the 13th time, on Friday the 13th.
The market doesn't seem to care yet.
He was dodging my and RKFs offer to buy all his shares before "we hit the .20s"
I'm surprised that Largo has responded positively to Mark being replaced by another CEO. I wonder, internally, what they are touting the reason/benefit of a management change will be? Regardless, it will benefit Nio.
