Gorgol:
Can you provide links other than Mr. Hauck's blog post to
show us verifiable evidence that these parts are being made NOW?
Who lives nearest to the plant?
WATTS…..don't you live in SoCal? Hell, I'd send you a check for a tank of gas if you wanted to
toodle over there.
We could all pitch in and call it…wait for it….. the WATTS UP fund……. : D haha
That too!
I'm reminded of the episode where Ethyl and and Lucy are working in the chocolate factory and as
the production line is sped up…they can't keep up ….and start eating the bon bons……..
somehow, this too, seems to be an analogy that reflects our fates as LQMT stockholders……
perhaps kind of obtuse…..but the words futility and exhaustion come to mind……..
"Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow…it's ONLY a day AWAY!"
Since we're on a Pop Culture kick (last night we were discussing GILLIGAN'S ISLAND you'll recall)
I thought invoking this song from ANNIE was appropriate…….
when discussing our collective fate as LQMT stockholders.
As it turns out this was a very famous PR (or was made famous by WW)……
https://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20120306007019/en/Liquidmetal®-Technologies-Begins-Shipment-Commercial-Parts-Customers
see the second line…"in the midst."
I'm hoping this yacht thing doesn't turn into a Gilligan's Island scenario! Shipwrecked by a chunk of liquidmetal!
Although…depending ….if Ginger was stuck on my boat too…..hmmmmm….
I might be able to endure!
Thurston Howell III
I was thinking more like Grey Goose…..
Yeah…that'll be cool. When we hit IT ...and all own yachts after hitting IT…my yacht can pull alongside your yacht and we can walk the plank!
P A R T Y T I M E!
It's so sad when the Bond LQMT Pump Team falls short, eh?
Buy to sell share count at 9:20 was:
85,000 buy / 9000 sell
Someone driving price down to buy cheaply
Meaningless until we see a contract or revenue.
If Li is producing these for an automotive company why can't he tell us?
Muy understanding is that Apple doesn't have a contractual hold on Lugee Li's LM 105 formula.
It does not fall under the MTA. If Apple refuses to renegotiate with Li, he has the freedom to sell LM105 to another phone maker.
I think this is correct.
I also think that if Mr. Li has secured a deal with Apple to use Liquidmetal we will see significant price movement in the next two weeks.
Sorry to say it…but the Big Dog in this situation is Apple.
I suspect they're more concerned about the Chinese Government than Prof Li.
Fake News! Trump that.
It's meaningless.
These screen shots of "manifests" for shipped parts aren't real for me until revenue and income are declared on a quarterly report. This simply could be another ploy by day traders to make it look like something is happening with this company.
And god help us if Lugee Li got duped into buying a patent portfolio that in the end isn't worth much.
FDA approval will get us to revenue
Leads:
that was a hypothetical…..
Ok..thanks for that…then we should be expecting a PR from CoNextions (or a joint pr from LQMT and CoNextions) stating that CoNextions received FDA approval today for their (fill in blank) made out of a new material, Liquidmetal, that will prove to be more flexible, resistant to corrosion, harder, last longer etc etc. This is an exciting future for Conextion….etc, etc, etc
Have you seen such a PR?
Ok..if that's so why haven't we seen a press release stating so…and I don't mean a pr about biocompatability, I mean a pr about "We at Liquidmetal are happy to report that the FDA approved LM 105 for use in (fill in blank). We can now move forward manufacturing (fill in the blank) for our clients Leader Medical and CoNextions.
Something like that.
Can't access it….have to be a client of the FDA OR my browser won't allow it.
Can you cut and paste what you're trying to show us?
Thank you.
Let's remember: passing biocompatability tests does not mean FDA approval.
We still don't have that.
Let's keep our facts straight.
Eagle my man!
That was a 1-2 punch and then a KO!
Your predictions list has come back to haunt us all! Continually.
Said with humor.
Have a good weekend. All.
I'm very content with the fact we're still in the 22 to 23 cent range and NOT at 16 cents.
This feels like the bottom.
Did I just jinx us?
Gorgol:
You know right after you sell it goes to 5 bucks! Don't sell.
I'm with Eagle: this is boom or bust for me. I'm staying in until we either fly or crash.
Nice post, Cima. Thank you.
Do any of us have a purpose anymore?
A condition of modern life…as we stare at our screens.
Rage Against The Machine, I say!
Unless it's made of Liquidmetal of course!
The date is meaningless like all the other dates he's posted over the last year.
Hate to be a broken record here but I fail to understand why Mr. Li couldn't have manufactured these prototypes two years ago within the confines of his immense manufacturing empire in China and then shipped finished product to America.
His US sales force could have been pounding the pavement aggressively selling tire pressure gauges, gears, body parts and other various sundry items applicable to the medical field.
What am I missing?
I stand corrected: you are right.
If Li had attempted to sell any shares at 40 cents the sale would have signaled that nothing was on the horizon. Ironically, it would have taken us down to the price point we now find the PPS.
I give Mr. Li great credit for having integrity and not selling out his shareholders for a quick buck. He could have profited momentarily, as other members of his management team did, but he chose not to.
Can any experts here explain the differential today between the stock buys and sells for LQMT?
Does it indicate some form of manipulation? What exactly are the market makers doing?
Specifically it looks like 121,539 were bought and 1,052, 231 were sold.
And we only drop .0065 cents?
Thanking you in advance.
I, for one, was happy to connect with RAMP WORM over that Kerouac quote.
Clearly he's a smart, erudite guy. Important information to know when evaluating the
quality of a posters comments / opinions / input.
We were community building there I think.
I guess if you believe death is a bummer that's too bad. I'm neutral on the issue because it's REALITY. Its something we're all going to get to do whether LQMT succeeds or not!
Ramp Worm:
We're in accord philosophically.
Blue Highways is a favorite.
Try Least Heat Moon's Riverhorse if you haven't devoured it already. An excellent read as well.
And he made that trip without the aid of Liquidmetal!
Nice elucidation, Ramp Worm.
Question authority, question power, question what is true.
As a native SFer there was nothing like going into the Cafe Trieste in North Beach long before Starbucks became fashionable and having a cup of espresso..…..and then spending a few pleasant hours combing through the shelves at CITY LIGHTS. Haven't been in years but I assume gentrification has taken hold of that neighborhood now. I bet all the porno shops and adult theaters that give former downtowns "texture"… are all gone as well.
Man! Neal Cassidy would have flipped over the concept of Liquidmetal. When you think about it maybe those initial scientists who theorized about amorphous metals were early early adaptors of LSD.
Liquidmetal is a concept that could easily come to someone when your mind is temporarily in another dimension.

You're in the middle of one right now
Apparently "Made in Space" leaves us still "Lost in Space."
I always had a thing for Angela Cartwright!
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-01-09/small-company-has-big-plans-for-making-metal-parts-in-space
It’s not as outlandish as it might sound. Made In Space, a Mountain View, California-based company, plans to use 3-D printing to manufacture metal parts in space. The technology is already used here on Earth by companies such as General Electric Co. and Siemens AG to build components for everything from jet engines to rockets. Cosmic applications are expected to gain traction as space travel expands.
Well this link should stir some debate…
http://www.patentlyapple.com/patently-apple/2018/01/apple-was-granted-40-patents-today-relating-to-new-liquid-metal-materials-apple-watch-activity-app-apple-pay-more.html
"On December 19th Patently Apple posted a report titled "Apple Wins an Interesting Patent Today covering Customized Metallic Glass Alloys that Offer Advantages over Liquidmetal." The report covered Apple's acquisition of patents from a company called "Glassimetal," a company that made liquid metals with a 'hardness factor' higher than Liquidmetal's alloys such as LM 105. Today Apple was granted two more patents that were originally from Glassimetal. Is Apple looking for new metal composites for future iPhones or new iDevices?"
I see know that that this was originally posted on December 9……but does this "replacement of LM 105" seem to say that Apple is doing an end run around Lugee Li's LM 105 formula?
Just asking the equation…I don't know the answer…perhaps someone out there does.
