Agreed. It'll be gorgeous.
Really is mind-blowing! When we go from 4 products to 7...??? Then where will the price be? .20s? .30s?
Lol agreed Helo. I'll be mad at myself once the price starts rising, I just know it!
If news is to hit in September, its gotta be this week, right?
You didn't though. Making a list doesn't = an explanation.
GLTA Longs
Prove it.
Sure we are. Go through your list and explain which patents are specifically related to the type of microtablets Elite is working toward. Its your list, after all. If you can't do that, just admit it and drop the argument. No need for excuses.
*Simply having the words compressed and microtablets in the patent text doesn't count, sorry.*
Glad we are in agreement about the unrelated patents list!
I'm just glad we finally got the list of unrelated patents clarified. No point in diluting the board with false info.
I'm sure we will be reminded again at .18. And again at .28. And so on and so forth.
LOL. Comprehension is key.
Eager for this coming week.
GLTA Longs
If about half the size of the current smallest microtablet is considered a "minor improvement", then yes.
The example that comes to mind is:
A pill can be similar to another pill.
A microtablet can be similar to another microtablet.
But not all are the same.
Hondas and Ferraris are both cars. Are they the same in terms of performance? Obviously not.
Anytime. It was never the argument that they couldn't. Only the smaller size that is unnattainable.
Simply incorrect.
Lets start with number 1 of the "176 microtablet patents" list.

Patent 8,258,159 - Inhibitors of the .alpha.2.beta.1/GPIa-IIa integrin
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to small molecule inhibitors of the .alpha.2.beta.1/GPIa-IIa integrin, as well as methods of production, use, and therapeutic administration thereof.
Later on in the patent text..
In addition, dosage forms of the present invention can be in the form of capsules wherein one active ingredient is compressed into a tablet or in the form of a plurality of microtablets, particles, granules or non-perils. These microtablets, particles, granules or non-perils are then placed into a capsule or compressed into a capsule, possibly along with a granulation of the another active ingredient.
These are the only times these words are mentioned in the entire patent. It is obvious that this patent is not directly expressing intent to cover "microtablets", "compressed", or any combination of the 2 and to argue otherwise is nonsense.
Once again, Elite and everyone else on this board are not claiming that microtablets do not currently exist. They are applying for a patent for a smaller size of microtablet than what is currently being produced successfully, as stated in the patent application.
Please stop posting misinformation.
So any patent that states a word like "liquid" or "tablet" is specifically related to those words? C'mon.
And yes, the first list you posted had a patent about X-rays. Lets try to stay on topic. Still want to argue that an X-ray patent was about microtablets?
Yes CH, I'm definitely excited to see how the next few weeks and months play out. Approvals of the new products and facility should considerably raise the value of this company and subsequently, pps.
I'm relatively new to investing and I had a question I've been meaning to ask you guys on here. Anyone can answer..
I'm just throwing this out as a hypothetical, but let's say we receive a PR on Monday that states Elite has completely paid off the NJEDA debt, one way or another. Is there any technical way to know or guesstimate what that would do to the stock price? Any formula to calculate this?
In no way am I meaning to infer that this will happen soon, I'm just trying to see how their removal of this debt would affect the price. Obviously it would increase, but by how much?
Thanks for all the DD Tang. Important to focus on the company and ignore the distractions. Looking forward to the coming weeks/months and approvals. Hopefully we can all snag a few more shares before the volcano erupts.
We are covering Elite's micro-tablet applications, not X-ray patents as you posted previously.
C'mon .11s! *kisses the dice*
Likewise Lasers. And I still have the feeling that I'll be kicking myself later on for not buying more!
Regarding ELTP, I have a few quotes I'd share with the longs from a book I just started reading:
"The more right you are about any one stock, the more wrong you can be on all the others and still triumph as an investor."
"What the stock price does today, tomorrow, or next week is only a distraction."
"The true contrarian is not the investor that takes the opposite side of a popular hot issue (i.e. shorting a stock that everyone else is buying). The true contrarian waits for things to cool down and buys stocks that nobody cares about, and especially those that make Wall Street yawn."
-Peter Lynch, author of "One Up On Wall Street"
Most Famous For:
Peter Lynch managed the Fidelity Magellan Fund from 1977 to 1990, during which time the fund's assets grew from $20 million to $14 billion. More importantly, Lynch reportedly beat the S&P 500 Index benchmark in 11 of those 13 years, achieving an annual average return of 29%.
Personal Profile:
Lynch graduated from Boston College in 1965 with a degree in finance. He served two years in the military before attending and graduating from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a Master of Business Administration in 1968.
He went to work for Fidelity Investments as an investment analyst, eventually becoming the firm's director of research, a position he held from 1974 to 1977. Lynch was named manager of the little known Magellan Fund in 1977 and achieved historic portfolio results in the ensuing years until his retirement in 1990.

So because studies haven't been performed, that automatically makes the product(s) ineffective? How would any drug ever be started in phase trials or approved if that was the case?
"Because consumers in emerging markets outside of the US often pay out-of-pocket for medicine and cannot afford the expensive brands, pharmaceutical leaders like Sanofi-Aventis and GlaxoSmithKline are by-passing the American market and heading straight to Europe, Asia, and Latin America where they can offer lower-priced, lower-profiled drugs to consumers who aren’t biased against generic branding (advertising influenced Americans often associate generic brands with lower quality, even though we all know they are every bit as effective and FDA-approved with the same active ingredients).
"As part of its branding strategy, some drug companies are using their main brand to associate with generics, while others like Glaxo have purchased local overseas generic companies to sell their products under a different name. Either way, the drugs are subject to the same quality and control checks that the non-generic ones are, and simply having a reputable company put their stamp of approval on the label offers consumers the best of both worlds – quality, trusted drugs at affordable prices.
“We are able to create different tiers of products at prices they haven’t previously seen with our stamp of approval,” Andrew P. Witty, the chief executive of GlaxoSmithKline told the NY Times.
If branded generics catch on in the US, we could end up seeing a dramatic shift in the $89 billion brand-name drug market as companies come to realize a smarter way of generating more market share for less. “It definitely represents a change in thinking,” said David Simmons, the president of Pfizer’s established products business unit, whose company has already added over 200 generic products to its portfolio."

^^ You mean like that kind of branded generic? Okay you're right. LOL LOL
"I think the 8 includes 4 that were yanked from the market as ineffective, so I am not sure why any attention would be called to them. Also, these are GENERICS, no big achievement to get these approved. Mylan has about 1000 generics."
Well that is 2 pieces of false information.
A) The products weren't pulled because they were ineffective, they were pulled because the FDA changed the rules on efficacy studies. These Lodrane products were also pulled along with almost 500 other products by the FDA.
B) Lodranes were and are, in fact, brand name drugs.
Facts only please.
Naturally TD-A is taking forever to approve my funds!!!
"Exactly. Traders flip for dollars. Longs hold for millions. I'll take the millions."
Sound familiar?
The stock price could've landed anywhere though.
LOL!!!!!!!!!
I think its hilarious that it stopped precisely at .143, my average. LOL!!!!!!
Anyone have any idea if we might catch some drug approvals posted on fda.gov prior to any official PR from Elite?
Cheers to that Andrew! I'm hoping to hold until I can cash out and buy a house in full! lol. Good luck to you and everyone else.
ELTP!
Gordon, PM me your email address if you have that function. I'd love to hear a little more about our little avian friend.
Do me a favor and copy over the next earnings report they file with the SEC come November or whenever the next CC is.
LOL LOL.
At least we agree it has the potential for $4-20$ pps.
Skydog,
I just set up a TDAmeritrade account and am in the process of funding it for the first time. I have been using Sharebuilder until now and according to their list of fees/prices, it will cost either $15 or $75 (not sure) to transfer all of my shares over. This is tempting because I usually pay anywhere between 20-40$ commissions everytime I buy a 4-5k block of shares for around $500-600+. I placed a sell order just to see what it would cost in commissions to sell my 120k shares the other day and it was going to be like almost $800 in fees for any share price less than $1.00. I could wait for pps over $1 but I'm thinking I might try to start trading the rises and dips soon and would be in a much better position to do so with TD-A.
Case in point, the brokerage you are transferring from should be the one that charges the fee(s), if any apply.
Yeah, this inching up in pps makes the rise feel so much stronger and less likely to drop again like in the past. Seems like its solidifying at higher prices. Hope I can use my new TDAmeritrade account soon to buy more while the price is reasonable! Hurry up funds and transfer already!
GLTA, Go Elite!
Lots of shares traded already for this time of the morning eh??
What an excellent point! LOL LOL.
Glad we agree it has to potential to be 4-20$.
Thanks Lasers. I keep hoping that I'll flip a pill package over and see Elite Pharma printed on it! Where I'm at in the hospital, I usually don't give any of Elite's drugs that have been approved so far though.
Thanks to whoever mentioned TD Ameritrade when I asked about brokerages, can't remember who it was. Just got my account set up, just gotta move funds to it and I'm ready to load the boat again!
Anyone bought more today by chance?
Perhaps thats why you posted 50 patents that weren't really related to Elite.. =/ I posted why your Tramadol patent wasn't related but you couldn't seem to grasp the facts and dropped your argument.. Not surprising.
I'm a nurse, good try though.
Let me know if you hear an answer back on this one!
Poorme, sell me some 5k at .12. You don't want them anyway right?
