Well that is 2 pieces of false information.

A) The products weren't pulled because they were ineffective, they were pulled because the FDA changed the rules on efficacy studies. These Lodrane products were also pulled along with almost 500 other products by the FDA.

B) Lodranes were and are, in fact, brand name drugs.
