Almost 0.50$! What is doing on with this thing?
Is the 8-K filing a significant indication that SRCH is ready to focus on the slag gold recovery? After it was filed, I see a steady climb in stock price at a high volume, so I believe investors would tend to agree with me that it is good news.
Annual report should be coming out in a week or so. I imagine it is in anticipation for some news, since we haven't heard any for a while.
You are always a source of entertainment.
WOW, 77% + jump so far on over 300k volume. Seems investors are anticipating the upcoming annual report. Keeping fingers crossed for the mention of a bank feasibility study!
Luxor is showing confidence in Searchlight. Very good sign.

A few quotes from it I find interesting...
"To date we have conducted 5 pilot autoclave tests which have resulted in the processing of approximately 1,000 lbs of slag. The greater quantity of PLS able to be generated with the large batch autoclave allows the use of multiple resins and multiple stages to more closely model a full-scale commercial system and optimize recovery of gold from solution."
"Most recent test results suggest that electrowinning may be the most commercially viable method of recovering gold from solution."
"A decision on allocating additional funds for Phase II of the Clarkdale Slag Project will be forthcoming if and once the feasibility study is completed and analyzed. The Phase II work program is expected to include the preparation of a bankable feasibility study, engineering and design of the full-scale production facility and planning for the construction of an Industrial Collector Road pursuant to an agreement with the Town of Clarkdale, Arizona."
Where is their quarterly report? Isn't it due soon?
I disagree. Sounds like they are right around the corner from the bank feasibility study.
"what is becoming zero sense in engineering terms"
How so, please elaborate.
What good is it for a large investor to invest millions in a company they know is a scam? That isn't going to work out for them or their clients in the end... Not really sure how that would be good since they don't earn a salary like the CEO, who also invested in SRCH recently for his wife. Of course, he could just hate her, but I'm going to give love the benefit of the doubt here.
Yes because the CEO buying a significant number of shares in his own company on Monday is a bearish sign... *sarcasm*
Yeah, in fact it would not surprise me if these negative comments are all coming from one grumpy, foolish, shorter, who placed the wrong bet on a winning company. This is the internet after all, and in my 20 years of experience on the web, I have seen far more deceptive acts, as I'm sure you have.
You just have to take it for what it is: negative voices, positive voices, and neutral voices. You can't weigh an argument from either side based on perception of the number of people backing it. For one, the people with the more extreme views tend to be more outspoken, and for two, there is no way of knowing how many unique identities actually exist in the argument. So what I tend to do is sift through arguments from both sides for FACTS and try my best to ignore the BS.
That being said, when it comes to SRCH, yes there are a few questions that need to be answered. Yes, there is still risk that it won't be a commercially viable process, or one as good as we hope. Yes, they have made huge progress recently and are almost at the stage of producing some real gold. Anything beyond that is just BS, and in reality we won't know their progress until the next news release. So until then, I'm going to ignore these boards and hold long.
Signing off until the next news release. Good luck to all who are holding long and if the shorters keep driving the price down, hell, I'll grab some more shares for the long haul.
Didn't you already say goodbye 2 months ago? Shorters are rampant now that srch is ready to takeoff.
Sorry to hear that. Best of luck to you on all of your future ventures. Stay in touch. I voted no but I'm holding long, just in case these guys pull it off.
They better give us some news before the meeting in the next few days... I may just have to vote no on everything in protest of their general lack of communication.
Did a message posted by the "disser" get erased, or am I losing my mind?
I do believe you are correct. All these negative comments about SRCH sound very bullish to me... probably just one person desperately trying to get in at a lower price before the next big news.
"Leprachauns and the Tooth Fairy" are not scientific processes. I do resent your tone but am assured that your job title is not chemist or material scientist.
You are the only one making this process "magic". In your many years of life experience, have you not seen the skeptical perception of "magic" surrounding new processes like: space travel, the personal computer, cellular phones, the internet, etc... I'm sure they all seemed like magic at the time.
Just because it hasn't been done yet does not mean it is magic when somebody achieves it for the first time. It is called technological development and progress.
Oh by the way as an example, if you had invested 10k$ in AAPL when the personal computer was laughed at as an impossible dream, it would be worth about 4M$ now, not taking into account inflation.
It doesn't even say that anywhere.
This ehwest guy already spammed the yahoo forums a couple days ago. Just report him.
IRLD and SRCH
I'm seeing some strange trends between IRLD and SRCH, two stocks that have been pumped together on the yahoo message boards. If you plot their percent change on top of each other over the past few weeks, it appears that whenever one goes up, the other goes down and they are both very volatile. Could this be the result of some kind of "pump n dump" network of scammers, or is it just a coincidence?
Any thoughts on the voting decisions? To be honest I am very lost on the pros/cons of each decision. Anybody had a chance to really dig into these voting items?
Pump and dump or anticipation? Thoughts? New 52 week high of 1.96 as of now.
Is this the first time they have held an event at such an expensive venue?
Up nearly 10% today on ~100k volume. Any ideas why? Is this just more noise?
This is a very informative message board! Much better than the vile crap over at Yahoo. Thanks for keeping it intelligent over here gentlemen.
