Didn't make it to 7-11 but did make it to Walgreen's. On the wall and shelves behind the cashier there was Blu and Fin (more Fin than Blu). There was also an empty area but area next to the Blu devices I could not make out clearly.
Agreed. Thanks Neighbor. Thanks to you as well Beamin. SS1
Finally upgraded to premium.
My mainstay was Isla Vista (College Point) before I left a 26 year life in the military (20 years abroad). I say S.B. as many folks have no idea where Isla Vista is... Lol. In the 60's and 70's, that was the place to be ofr MJ.
Cool. Madera outside of Fresno. I grew up in Santa Barbara so I know Ventura well...surfed every accessible beach from Torrey Pines past Lompoc.
Since I appear to be on the opposite side of the coast (CA) from you all, I'll check my Walgreen's here in the area today as well. SS1

Those good old days could have been good if the CEO understood FEDBIZOPs but he evidently did not. He also had the SBA on his side but evidently didn't take advantage. A changing of the guard and whatever we're heading towards is like wind in the sails (my humble opinion).
Beamin1,
Checking out the packaging on this product and it's got all the marketing pieces covered which I, as an investor, find important with the first-time buyers. Big plus here when it hits the retail outlets in my humble opinion. Would be interested int he profit margin regardless of what comes to fruition here.
Cheers,

If it were not for an already cemented retirement plan, I'd have opened one in my town. If it weren't for the legal aspects of putting these puppies in vending machines, I'd have went that route.
I use a Smok KeCig and am buying a few of these guys to test out. Just as point of reference, we had 3 Vape shops open in our area over the past 6 months. I frequent them to get my oils and asked about these products. They are now looking into adding them to their line-up which I thought was pretty cool. Most shop owners are going to tell you the product line's improving so they're changing battery and designs based on customer choice.
I wasn't aware of the MJ connection but it could make sense. What one does with these vape units is his/her own choosing. I dig 'em as my current job is "no tabacco products" and I can close my office door and take a break as the water mist fades like in moments. SS1
The love of growing up in SoCal and surfing my life away. Been 40 years now...and yes, I'm silver! Lol!
Thanks beamin1. What's the percentage? SS1
Just as a matter of interest. Which brokerage can actually execute in a timely manner? Jeesh. It's been 4 hours for USAA to do anything. Any ideas are appreciated.
Wow. Was that an ask or/and a fill at .012? SS1
LOw,
What do you make of this stuff on SPLI? It shot over a penny today and I'm not certain who's manipulating it. Thanks in advance.
SS1
Thanks M. Always great hearing from a sound contributor here. SS1
Great to see all these new folks interested in SPLI. Current brokerage won't buy MJ-related stocks which cost me a ton 12 months ago. Good to see that standing with commitment in one's investments can actually have a silver lining when you bet on the small business player. Being an Aerospace and Aviation professional, to see this kind of relationship between SPLI and Vapor is truly a bit of a mystery to me...I guess MJ and flying are relative terms. Lol!
Thanks again...I've held a significant amount of this stock with Boeing predicting they'd be selling some 24,00 aircraft over the next 20 years. Boeing aircraft actually constitute some 75% of the current aircraft flying these days. Those aircraft obviously need to be refurbished by Federal Aviation laws or be decommissioned once the airframe reaches a certain flight hour threshold.
Anyway, for those interested, that was the primary business of SPLI before this merger was announced. Let's hope the guru's commenting here are right about a $15 a share landing at some point. That'll be a great story for the Silversurfer to tell his grand kids...over an adult beverage of course.
Cheers,

Low,
Trust all is well on your end. Haven't been on the board for 14 months due to work and no time to do any serious homework for investing. When I left, I left holding a few dogs (e.g. SPLI and EFIR). Looks like SPLI (an Avionics salvage business) is now merging (agreement announced 22 Jan 14) with a Vapor business that makes E-Cigs, an odd business compliment but I'm sure there's benefits to both. Anyway, SPLI jumped some 500% this week then retracted back 200% indicating a potential reverse hammer if my terminology is close. I did a little more looking into this Vape and E-Cig deal and it appears there are multiple uses for these guys...to include other substances beyond nicotine.
Any thoughts on what one might expect with the merge? I owe a ton of shares of SPLI which I didn't dump when it went from .001 up to .005 ... call it sentimental reasons or a needed tax break if needed to sell off the losses. Anyway, Thanks in advance for your insight and recommendations.
Cheers,
SS1
Any crystal ball predictions on what happens to SPLI shares during this merger...reverse split perhaps?
Where are we headed with REN? Thanks.
Thanks DIG4SLVR.
I've had SPLI for 20 months now and these are glorious days... Stop tracking it over a year ago and was please to see the tripple digit jump in my portfolio yesterday. I'm not a big Vape guy so I have to ask...any ideas on where this is headed? Thanks.
Not to worry. I'm in this knee deep as well (no pun intended). A lot of noise in this market right now and I'm focused on my DD. I'm definitely not the guy to follow as I've only returned an 11% profit so far this year. Not stellar by reading a series of posts out hear since January. Best of luck. SS1
Paying dividends and Cit opening coverage at a buy should be helping MHR over $4
I gather from what I've read there was a software of "technology" glitch.
Nicely put and totally agree. With the 36 known and accepted economies linked so closely together, it's hard to imagine thank if one region tanks, it won't have a ripple affect. All that said, what do you make of the oil price increase?
SS1
Flat,
Part II. The younger generations are hungry, intelligent, and take to IT like ducks to water. I grew up with pencil and paper, the underwood mechanical typewriter (no power). When think about the means or results of an innovation, I think, it has to be something new--a new item that revolutionizes a business opportunity; a new process that changes the old way of doing business for the better; or introducing a process or program that is already in place in one industry and introducing to another to improve the outcome.
I'd be interested in what the board thinks about how they perceive what innovation is and how they would determine how it appears?
Cheers,
SS1
Flat,
Makes you wonder doesn't it. We have the most diverse work force in man's history in play here--folks born prior to 1925 (pre-vets), 1925 – 1942 (veterans), 1942 – 1960 (boomers), 1961 – 1979 (gen X), and those born after 1979 (gen Y), and those born after 1992 (gen Ms; or Me's). With each generation comes a new set of cognitive norms, values, and beliefs that form the basis for what they cherish most at work, at home, and at play.
The generational influences on this market are telling and the environment will change drastically as 70 percent of the boomers discover (if they haven't already) that they'll never be able to retire on what they have right now. One thought might be that this jam creates a logger head for up and coming Gen Xers and Yers who'll sit and wait for their parents and elder siblings to un@$$ the lower and mid echelon positions they need to move up and grow. Another, those bright young folks will think their way past their less adept and hungry elders creating a whole set of business models, market sectors, and blue ocean opportunities across the global landscape.
Just my two cents.

Not a lot of activity this past weekend. Still trying to track down how oil and gold went up last Friday. We have a glut of oil and it goes up $6 a barrel. I'm thinking it was the last day of the quarter, the silly notion that the Spanish and Italian bail-outs will hold, and that no one really cares if Greece ends up back in their own currency.
From what I've culled from multiple articles on the Chinese economy, things aren't looking much better with small business owner's facing high interest rate payments and demands from workers for increased salaries. It's hard to build the M2 if there's no cash flow to support a consumer economy which is what China and the world needs at this point.
Low, I know you have a great handle on the penny and big boards, but I think your call to sit on the side lines is perhaps the most equitable move right now...and for the next 6-12 months. The looming question is whether or not the folks in the penny world can sit on the side lines with you during these tumultuous times. I sold all but four stocks today (CLDX, PPP, OEDV, and MHR--oh yes, and the two dogs I'm holding over 500k shares each, SPLI and EFGI). Will most likely dump OEDV and MHR; perhaps PPP and LDX tomorrow as well while I'm still ahead.
It's great to see you still have a devout following as well--if folks have listened to you here, they've made some coin. I for one, have learned more than the coin I've made and that's a lot more important for a journey person like myself. Thanks Low.
Cheers,
SS1
Wow, that sounds like a lot of self-gratification. 1.3 billion on a sub-penny? Pichejitisu, what say you of UNQT my friend?
Sweet. Thanks.
SS1
Serious? What is it that you all see in this stock? I bought in based on a friend's advice and it's clear I'm a bag holder now and not feeling all that confident there's not a tax write-off here. Please share your optimistic thoughts here and if I'm missing the blinding glimpse of the obvious, please enlighten me. Thanks in advance.
SS1
Silver,
I like your thoughts here. The European solution and Obama-care will make things a little fluid over the next 6 months. MHR a cycle play between 3.75 and 4.10. I have a day job and won't trade on the government and taxpayers time so I'll sit on the side lines to see how things pan-out. Beyond my normal holdings, I did keep a wild card (oedv) to see how oil fairs over the next few years. Bought that stock when it was .04 and kept a nominal position--it off-set the loses I had on ATRN (learned a lot on that journey, LOL!). Happy 4th.
SS1
The Jimmy poster has a good point. Several folks, including myself lost some coin here --some new to pennyland (myself) and accept the lesson learned (well paid for). There'll come a day when the shoes on the other foot and several of us who took a beating and experience the better half of the deal will still feel for those who did not.
Peace
SS1
Wow, I see a few of the regular's 3 months ago but don't see the guy with the red 924 Porsche in front of his garage here anymore. What happened? I don't see Dr. Pennystock's board up either. Go away for a few months and anything can happen in Pennyland. Sorry to all those (including myself) who lost capital here. I learned a lot form this one and the realities you can't trust what folks post here, even if you gut tells you they're mean the best. Just my personal opinion, but learned to avoid the hair of the dog with the chin an the those associated.
SS1
Thanks Silver bug. Guess we'll see some further retreat while the price of crude reaches the $70 mark. I'm adding to my position in both MHR and OEDV and would like to see some potential fills in the 3.30 - 3.40 range (perhaps a little lower if the barrel does drop to $70). Are you looking at precious metals and rare earth? Might be some opps there.
SS1
Had to do some reading after watching this thing break the surly bounds of the blue sky and quickly retreat like the last 3 seconds of a Roman candle on the 4th of July. I'm hearing rumors (700 Club Finance; some Profs I work with, and some blogs) that crude's headed for $70 a barrel. We're accumulating so a beat down to the mid .50's would be welcome in my book. Regardless of the current glut, oils a winner and oedv postured to follow MHR if Slawson can deliver. Just my humble opinion, but Mar-Apr next year, we should be in better shape.
SS1
pot,
There will be some available manana as this is nothing more than a lot of hype with little revenue. Good luck with the Vodka adventure as well.
SS1
Really. Appreciate your insight here but these kind of posts really send up a red flag for me personally. There's a lot of "hear say" or "opinion" with no verifiable data points. With 47% institutional ownership, PR should be supported with references (Just my humble opinion).
