They won't handle the stock...USAA.
Anyone out there watching this ALSE?
Yes. My brokerage had a similar message that they didn't recognize the ticker. Was thinking, if this does take off (or not), I'm pretty much screwed anyway. SS1
Saud, that would definitely be a nice way to close. That said, you may have another few weeks or months to give up on this one but IMHO, you be richly rewarded. Cheers, SS1
Vid, I'm be happy with 16 and some change on the buyout. Per JB, my DD coupled with that scary and often troublesome gut feeling that this is a little longer hold than I'm accustomed too with this industry. Gives me the heebie jeebies. SS1
So Watts, what your proposed reentry point for those who've exited? Thanks, SS1
G, with the EU so reliant on Russian fossil fuels, one has to wonder how this will impact our side of the pond and players like FST. I saw oil and natural gas prices edge up some today. Should have seen this stock benefit from that? Interesting how it didn't. SS1
Agreed. Might see some good opportunities for adding here. SS1
Gorgol, future looking pretty red right now. It's a shorters day or two for sure and I'll probably be helping them out on a few stocks buying some dips. SS1
My humble opinion...Hold what you have. SS1
Ahhhh...have you heard of the Aurora? Since we're speculating here, there's a major concern with narrow body and small aircraft...SWaP (space, weight and power). Providing acceptable tensile strength at a weight savings is priceless in the these aircraft markets.
Great put by the way. SS1
Itwood, if I may offer a solution...iHub does not drive what happens with this stock. This is a small forum of folks interested in exchanging ideas and thoughts--some positive and some negative. IF folks ignored some posters, they may just go away and the odd one or two hang out for various reasons (as the one you mentioned in your post). Just my two cents. SS1
Watts,
This lines up with some programs I worked in the past for use in aircraft and aviation which typical have rather large and robust handsets. Since 75% of the aircraft in service today are Boeing products, they own data rights to anything that touches the avionics network. With folks installing their own comm systems for cabin and customers, I can see where things might have stalled. Just my humble opinion since we're all speculating. SS1
With all due respect, you've made your position clear. Please note that I've asked the moderators to intervene since these posts are wasting my time and no value-added. Thanks for your consideration. SS1
Thanks. Do you have a link to the Finra site?
elkonig,
To be honest. I hadn't found that in my DD yet....still digging. Sounds like you're familiar with this stock, reverse merger deals, and revocation. I'm not. Can you please point me in the direction as to where you found that, what was the likely cause, and what it costs to get their revoked status back in good standing? Thanks. SS1
Doc, betting that's at 470+ by next Friday then. Integracer posted a pretty good article on reverse mergers that could be a very good prelude to where we're headed. Just need to identify the suitor who'll be buying up the majority share if they already aren't well on their way to getting there now. Cheers, SS1
Nice post intergracer.
Quoted from the Investopedia site, "The process for a (private company to public) conventional IPO can last for a year or more. In addition, during the many months it takes to put an IPO together, market conditions can deteriorate, making the completion of an IPO unfavorable. By contrast, a reverse takeover can be completed in as little as thirty days." This would be an easy kill for any MJ stock in my opinion.
Further, "At the closing, the shell company issues a substantial majority of its shares and board control to the shareholders of the private company. One way the acquiring or surviving company can safeguard against the "dump" after the takeover is consummated is by requiring a lockup on the shares owned by the group from which they are purchasing the public shell (Investopedia, 2014. n.p.)". Be prepared but this appears to be a common practice to protect the private company's interests. Further, market conditions have no bearing on this type of move.
There's a lot of opportunities for private companies to take this COA (course of action) as 30 days is a pretty quick way to get into the public sector and expand their investment capital for growth in my humble opinion.
Do your own DD on this but the reverse merger may lead to a reverse split of current EFIR shares held. Nope, don't like that news either as it conjures up last events when I personally did not benefit from the R/S. That said, there's plenty of upside after between now in then if the stars align and folks play their investments in EFIR right (timing is everything). Please don't make any investment decisions based on my post(s). They are my personal opinion and I use them to determine my own activities (Avise La Fin). SS1
Thanks for the sanity check Gamesc. This spawned for LQMT cannards. See prior posts.
Thanks Blu. I hold a pretty good sum of EFIR now. Have done for 2 years. SS1
Thanks Doc. That's about where I'm at right now in my DD. In my humble opinion for what it's worth, the 8K is a pretty good indicator we'll see a ticker change at some point and some definite restructuring of the share component by necessity if the company wants out of the cellar. Add the speculation and some helpful PR and it may attract a few folks and flippers to the revival party. Cheers,
SS1
Doc, I have my feelings on why there may be a potential MJ connection which I posted earlier. What's your basis if you don't mind sharing. Helps me better triangulate if that makes sense. Thanks. SS1
That is definitely interesting. I'd like to see how next week pans out. Should be a telltale sign of the following week's run-up if it's truly in the cards. Just my opinion, but changing NRCC rules will have a bigger impact than just sub pennyland. Wonder how many folks on are the edge of there seat this weekend sweating bullets or perhaps checking the market value of the BMW they bought feasting on others! Lol! You reap what you sew regardless if you're stomping on the little investor. My personal opinion. SS1
Thx true. I'll check it out. SS1
OK. What's your source please? Do we know when earnings will be reported? Thanks, SS1
Agreed. After DD there has definitely been some sell-offs and downsizing of their exposure, most likely from growing too fast and finding the expected ROI (return on investment) on some ventures proved too much to either take advantage of or over rode the potential money they could make to cover their investment. Doesn't sound like their business strategy and plan was followed or updated as they added to the stables either. That's a recipe for bad results. All just my humble opinion so don't make any decisions on my information please.FST will have to be on the monitor list for news and volume now. I'll monitor and look for possible reentry at some point since I bailed at 2.05 yesterday afternoon. Left it to fate, if the sell went, so did I. SS1
Wish the MMs would let this move up some to solidify the stock. Discarding the speculation here, with all the factual information provided here this should be in the .30s in my humble opinion.SS1
LGL,
Guess it's a matter of chartsmanship and what"s available. I tried to move this and move the right hand ($) scale over and reaccomplish in scale. My apologies, these available products don't allow you to scale the chart in equal increments (above a certain number they all crunch up on each other. tried reaccomplishing with the high number being 30, 40, and 50. Not very usier friendly like my SPSS and analytic software. SS1
Thanks Blullish. Send me a PM or share publicly the source. I see a few discussion boards outside of iHub chatting about some options here. This is just some folks opinion so take it from that reference please, nothing more: Some MJ start-ups are looking for cheap established ticker symbols as merger opportunities that will reduce their time and entry to outside investors and legitimization. Others are interested in alternative investments to natural gas and energy stocks that are already mature s that industry is at the height or stale due to natural gas reserves. Again, a lot of opinions out there so this is just speculation for now. Still looking for a solid foundation here if that makes sense. SS1
Link, finding anything worth sharing? Also on the DD but not wanting to share yet until I get some additional data points and validation. SS1
Slingwing, you called it. I haven't seen this volume on EFIR since 2012. There must be something going on... SS1
LGL, with all due respect, you're distorting the chart which is a little misleading bringing your assessment into question. Hitting .12 might be a reach in my humble opinion. SS1
Yes, I can confirm the wolf has been on for around that time as well. SS1
Had to stop watching in my investment here for awhile and find some other boards to watch for awhile. Guess we'll finally start moving to .10. SS1
Crude, not sure filing a civil against anyone at this point would bare any fruit if the tree is bare. What we need is for whomever controls this shell to find a suitable MJ endeavor seeking a less expensive way to enter the market. As hot as the MJ market is and will be this year, a stock or bag holder like myself might find some solace in knowing "they" have a conscious and actually care(d) about the folks who trusted and invested in them--if that makes sense. Cheers, SS1
Wildog, you look like an influential force here. If you can draw an MJ movement into this puppy I'll buy you a cold one! Cheers, SS1
Oh, wait a minute...I missed the blip to .0003 there. That's reminiscent of the amateur investment I made 15 months ago... Go EFIR... SS1
Come on georgmjunge2011. I'm betting there's a few bag holders here (me included) that deserve some right to an opinion since we paid for it. One might wonder why you're here on the board...if you don't mind sharing I'd be interested. All due respect. SS1
Wow. Guess I better get some glasses...I see a flat line.
Perhaps I'm dreaming, but why doesn't an MJ or Ecig company looking for a shell pick this one? Sorry, just woke up from a senior moment and tired of seeing this single red reminder of a blunder I made 15 months ago buying EFIR on a P&D movement. If I had .10 cents for the shares I have in EFIR, I'd retire a second time! Lol! That said, it's a constant reminder of a bad DD on my part which led to an intense education process that's garnered a 22% cumulative return on all my investments since. OK, I've learned my lesson now I'd like to see this do something... SS1
