Thank you, also, to both of you!
The Baathist's Iraq was rejected by all its neighbors. It was isolated. About the oil, is this a war to control our oil supply?
was saddam an immediate threat to America?
I will wait for your answer--I am asking, what are we doing in Iraq?
What are we doing in Iraq?
Where are the weapons of mass destruction?
It was a big mistake because Al Qaida and Iraq were unrelated. Iraq was Bush's and Cheney's personal agenda, apparently because Bush Sr. never got the job done. Now with Saddam (unpopular with all his neighbors before his fall) gone, Iraq will become a hotbed of Al Qaida activism as well as a scene of civil war and endless bloodshed.
I am no dove and was so happy to go after Al Qaida--still am. Of course now they are infiltrating Iraq in huge numbers and are responsible for killing our troops and innocent civilians.
Bush and Cheney, for whatever reason, did not state the facts right when they went into Iraq. They should have been concentrating on Osama, not Saddam. Saddam was evil, of course, is evil I should say. But he was no direct threat to us, only to Israel. We are now, as Mubarak says, hated in the Arab world, thanks to this Iraq venture, when prior to it, we were in good stead.
It is a shame.
Going into Afghanistan made sense. Going into Iraq is turning out to be a mistake, unfortunately.
I will avoid overseas travel and wait for the tensions to end. It may be a long wait.
You will see that our public freedom is going to be lost as the terrorists increase their concentration of attacks on us because of Cheney, et al. It is a shame, but mark my words.
Enjoy the deaths of our innocent soldiers and citizens.
Eek. Bush's policies are lamentable for our boys overseas.
Exactly! The ideal plan.
Ha! My daughter and I are on an shipping program for a seasonal kit they have. However I will not sign up again--have too much makeup now.
Me too. My husband gets very upset, too, if he sees TV shopping boxes arrive at the door.
You can so easily return things which is what I do if it is not right. What they are good at is often gadgets, things like that--plus cosmetic bargains, such as Smashbox.
Do not forget Home Shopping Channel too!
No wonder it is the Great American Pastime. What a super game!

Hmm--I don't know why. Let's investigate. She likes it, that is for sure! Matter of fact, she told me about it. j/k
Martha
Oh yes! Have found many unusual things there. Love it!
Martha
Chuckle!
Yes, true. She is so sweet--to some. Her purr is just like that one's.
Carolyn watches it quite a lot. I watch it less.
No Sophie is just that color although wider.
Cutest thing ever.
Better than I as my sister will confirm!
Martha
Thank you. That was a lovely post.
In my own experience I have had people close to me become closer to cyberspace people than people in their immediate lives. That to me is a tragedy of the internet.
Martha
The link that you provided does not work on my computer.
Martha
No--here is a QVC link to one of his books. His name is Art Ginsburg. I hope this link is not too long!!

A bearded chef (he used to be on QVC) who makes simple recipes that are delicious. He has a magazine too I think.
Yes Happy Birthday Rudi!
You are such a good friend to my sis!
Oh gosh no. I am not that type at all. Mr. Food's cookbooks are more down my alley.
She should have said "no comment," true. But they are going after her for covering up a crime they cannot prove she committed. I used to be no fan of hers but I admire the heck out of her for her talent and determination and wonder if she is being targeted for her sex, and her success and fame.
Hi Rudi, Hope all is well. Speaking of Marthas, Martha Stewart is being railroaded.
Hi you young folks,
What is up at the bar? I am about ready to retire. Do you people drink Bourbon and Branch Water? That is what we had when I was young. 'Night!
Thank you very much, Onebgg.
I shall. Thanks.
I am sure you are right. I have not had time to read the links. But this man will go down in history.
Thank you--I will check that out. He was a dear family friend and wise person. If you only knew how important he was.
