SAPX dn >40% since 1:70 R/S w/ 800k vol. Who is buying at this point?
LOL R/S was supposed to keep PPS above a buck to stay on the QQQ; even a 1:70 R/S couldn't do that. PH is being done in by his own misdeeds, having overplayed his hand.
Delisting should move forward with haste. We would all be better off.
No position, took a big loss back in .025
Glad to be out of this, despite the $7k loss. I just didnt see any upside. This was my all time worst trade. GLTA and aloha.
Since we know insiders don't hold much stock, why can't shareholders just vote down any additional R/S? It seems as though us shareholders need to take a stand. There are ~110 MM shares o/s; who owns these shares?
Theoretically, PH can issue another ~150 MM shares for let's say .02 average PPS, giving him up to $3 million purchasing power. So then he squanders that money rather than creating any value in SAPX. Concurrently, time is running out regarding the NASDAQ listing, with the only option of a R/S to maintain that listing.
But even a 100:1 R/S might not be enough, even if approved. A R/S certainly doesn't benefit shareholders; so why vote your proxy for it?
I'm struck with how little respect SAPX has shown for its stockholders. Why should we support anything management recommends?
Does anyone know of a link in which I can see the day to day o/s share change for TVIX? Everyone is saying CS is adding shares, but how can I tell?
Yeah, the swings aren't as great; no longer acting like 2X VIX, but it's at least back to moving enough to be tradable
Well maybe the dilution is slowing?
Wow TVIX starting to act very volatile, much like the "old" TVIX. Just look at today's swing. Wow!
I guess the fact that SAPX isn't down at this point in today's session is something. Maybe no shares given out today?
Every day down 2-5%. It's just frustrating to watch your investment melt away day after day, helpless to do anything about it.
I guess I, like all the other investors, are just waiting for some kind of miracle with this stock. So far the bashers have been right. And have you noticed the continuing diminishing expectations on pps?
I'm down about 60%, with no end in sight. The chart says it all. It seems we investors are the big loses here.
I just don't think shorting could cause this steady drop in pps. I think dilution could though. Isn't it plausible folks have been given shares in lieu of cash, and they are just selling them for whatever they can get? Vendors don't care about pos; they just want their cas for services rendered.
Next Q I think we might see 75mm shares, IMO.
So LTG why IYO does this stock continue to go down, if not due to dilution, which you have said isn't occurring?
Next week, next week, next weak, weak. . . maybe never? Soon Mr. Hoffman won't even be able to give this stock away.
I have an idea: post some earnings. I know it's old school. Selling hype has totally run its course on this stock, IMO. long from .243 (averaged down)
What WILL move this stock up? NAS extension didn't do it (sure pps moved up briefly, but then right back down): these PRs aren't moving the needle either. What does SAPX have to do?
After the blood letting, could TVIX be returning to the way it's supposed to act, +5%; long
Wow, I feel bad for my losses, but at least I didn't buy TVIX on margin. Don't get me wrong I lost money, but it could have been worse. Still hoping for a bottom and some kind of turn around.
So you will be riding it out rather than jumping ship (maybe the word 'jump' shouldn't be used in a TVIX context)?
Does anyone see a bottom here? I thought the NAV, but it keeps dropping too.
I appreciate your comments on TVIX. I have a small stake as well. Like you, I'll ride out the down turn. I like your explanation because it's constructive, observing how us longs went wrong.
I too interpreted CS's action back in February as a positive rather than a negative, especially since CS quickly resumed selling shares. We retail investors got caught whilst sell signals were present, but not obvious.
Apparently there is no requirement to give investors a reasonable heads up for resuming share sales. Notice was given a half hour before AH close on Thursday. But word was already out. Of course insiders & MMs had ample time to sell earlier that day.
For me, I will monitor TVIX price as it settles in around NAV. I'm hoping it will return to trading the way it's supposed to. So my trade here isn't complete yet.
One concern for me is investor confidence. Will it return or is it lost? Only time will tell I guess.
I don't take pleasure in losing money, or watching others lose money. But I'll take the loss if TVIX doesn't look like it will recover. I can make back the $6k loss.
Being from Hawaii I have to know when to fish or cut bait. The trade is still on.
Now that TVIX is nearing NAV, won't that act as a "bottom" of sorts, or does NAV keep moving down too? Assuming ppl haven't lost confidence in TVIX, won't it start moving the way it was designed to move? Maybe pps will recover some.
Why isn't anyone commenting on the implications of CS re-issuing shares? Look I'm as frustrated as everyone else regarding the TVIX plunge, but I can't undo my long position; I lost money too; I don't like it.
What I need to know is how to proceed forward. One thing I know is panic selling is a sure loser.
Should I ride this out, or sell? What impact will CS's actions have on TVIX pricing short/long term?
Rather than wasting time playing the blame game, or "could a should a would a" game; we need to be thinking about how to move forward from here. I don't know about you guys but I'm reading your BB posts for ideas and recommendations, not whining.
Can we get back to helping one another? I appreciate everyone who is sincere in their posts
I'm sure others posted today's CS PR, but here it is:
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/credit-suisse-plans-reopen-issuance-232400592.html
Wouldn't it be nice if SAPX had some kind of PR in addition to extension news? This would also help boost pps. It's all about timing, imo.
Good job on the DD lovetthatgreen; I for one really appreciate your efforts. Mahalo.
Just added @ .164 for the bounce
Thanks for your gamer's insight; no catalyst aside from earnings through Christmas? I just wish MCZ management was on their game. It just seems like for a company that's been around awhile, they blew it last holiday season, imo. I was hoping they could permanently get out of "penny stock" status, especially considering last year's pps performance.
I see you're accumulating MCZ. Other than earnings I don't see a catalyst. Christmas sales were disappointing, also product delays hurt them. As a gamer, maybe you can add some color to why you like this company long term. I'm up on my investment here, but the stock seems to be trading sideways. Any opinion short term? long term?
Thanks for the follow up. You know there is so much nonsense on this BB I find myself questioning everything I read here.
Well if you feel that .38 pps basis is sound, I'll so stipulate; my job is to challenge unreferenced facts for validity. I see Hoffman's holdings at ~$73k. Thanks.
How do you know Hoffman's shares are at .38 pps basis? Doesn't he have the power to give himself any amount of shares, thus causing endless dilution? When other CEO's purchase shares on the open market there is a PR, which in itself is newsworthy.
The last insider purchase I see is 8 Dec 11 for 96k shares @ .0938 pps. Hoffman put down ~$9k. Not exactly a confidence building purchase from a shareholder standpoint.
I monitor this bb, it's hard for me to tell who is credible. I have noticed that you seem to be confident in your posts. You seem to also have a calm about your posts too.
I have about 11k shares @ .362. I certainly don't want to take a loss. Any advice?
Thanks in advance
I'm long @ .51 & I'm expecting a gap up. I'm hoping MCZ behaves like last year.
Peeps buying this on margin is the problem of those frustrated, imo. TVIX is too volatile to trade on margin. I'm in for 1200 shares. My loss thus far is just on paper, so I can wait. I think I might be freaking out too if I got a margin call on a TVIX trade. It should be obvious not to trade this on margin.
I hear ya brah, this stock behave crazy
I'm waiting for someone to sell 100k right about now, but I'm hoping the gains will hold.
I'm sure you meant .62 right?
What makes you think this? Shouldn't your buy alert have a basis or catalyst?
Dude, and some people can do both. Happy New Year!
FTR 5.40 . . 5.01 Is this stock squeezing here? No one cares about this stock? No post for two weeks
I wish someone would explain this trade action to me. Is someone "dumping" shares, or is someone picking up a large lot at a discounted price? And why AH? I don't get it.
I concur with your opinion about the +/- 4 cent buy in / accumulation, especially if the target is a $1+. What I'm interested in Is what needs ti happen for the stock to go up? If dilution is occurring, why and when will it stop?
Also I noticed on this board people suggesting there are those who want the stock to go down; besides shorts who would want that? Who cares about .004 pps when the stock could double or triple? Everyone understands this kind of profit taking. I just don't get such precise flipping.
Well now that I've vented I'll learn from the SAPX "wise men".
