Take a look at my past posts. I think positively of BPAX. I'm not trying to scare anyone. I'm sharing what I think may happen and what stratey I am thinking about.
I think it is realistic that it could reach the 70s. Look where it was two days ago.
I do think, however, that if it reaches those levels it will certainly rebound.
I'm waiting to see if it reaches the mid to low 70s. I think it very well reach those levels. I will consider buying back in at that point. I think there will be a lot of uncertainies over the next several days. So I am kinda just gonna watch and see what turns out.
I believe he is purposely trying to scare people to lower the PPS. His tactics may work today. I believe he did another one of these and the PPS fell quite a bit.
When he says the cancer vaccines are a complete zero, and that Libigel is a complete zero, he is clearly being overly pessimistic.
Oh really indeed! I've been watching BPAX everyday for exactly 2 months. There have been a lot of days where it just kinda trades sideways. What I was referring to is that it will likely close up 10-20 percent or more, or down that same amount and not trade within a range like it often does.
You are absolutely correct. I really like BPAX a lot and I will be watching it closely. I will consider taking a position again after I see how it trades for a while. Or if an ubeatable dip occurs sometime within the next few days.
This may go down, but it certainly will not stay down.
I encourage everyone to have patience and they will certainly be rewarded. I think for quite a few people this is a neat learning experience. It certainly has been a great learning experience for me.
Many people are now watching BPAX closely. I think you are right. People will definitely snatch this up as the price goes lower. I wouldn't be surprised to see another big day sometime within the next week.
I think this will either go down quite a bit tomorrow, or up quite a bit tomorrow rather than trade sideways.
I suspected greatly that CBRX would go up significantly today. One of the reasons I believe it is having such a strong day is because people are exiting BPAX and putting their money in CBRX.
I am not ready to put my money in CBRX, I just haven't done enough research about the company yet. But I will be watching and may jump in at some point.
Good luck to you all.
Thank you. I come from a poor family so I was always wise about how I spent and saved my money. I've been accumulating as much money as possible over the past 5 years or so. This helps tremendously!
I am a senior in college and a finance major. I sold today 27,000 shares at 1.16 for a profit of over $18,000 and 140% gain.
I sold not because I do not believe BPAX will not get to $2 and above. I strongly believe it will. After the rally last week and the subsequent fall I knew I needed to sell at the open today, because I felt this would fall after open.
It very well may turn out that it closes today above what I sold for. It also may not, however. Either way $18,000 even after taxes is a big boost for me and will help me to begin my life after I graduate. I could not turn it down this morning.
I am strongly considering buying back into BPAX. It's hard not to at 1.04, where it is at now. But I need a break for a bit.
I think from now on it will stay mostly above $1. But it may happen that it drops below at some point. I'll be ready to snatch BPAX up if it does.
Basically I believe BPAX will continue to trend upwards. I just need to take a breather and think about various options. If I miss out on another huge rise from BPAX I won't be disappointed.
I will be following BPAX for quite some time to come. There is a lot of good in this company. For those who have yet to take their profits. Good luck. For those who have just boughten in, I believe you will likely do just fine. BPAX will be a winner this year in my opinion.
I am sure I will be joining you for a ride once again soon.
If there is a short-squeeze it could happen very soon. But let's say there is no short-squeeze whatsoever. I think over the course of the next couple to few months there will be an upward trend. I see no reason why there would not be. I think BPAX could be stable around $2 within the next few month.
It could happen a lot faster than I think. Or it could take a bit longer. It's hard to say for certain. But I think anyone who is buying BPAX at these levels will easily see very, very nice returns. All they have to do is wait.
I also absolutely think $2 will be reached in the near-future.
BPAX is a gem. I think BPAX has an outstanding future ahead of it. The more one learns about BPAX the more one realizes the great possibilities.
I think sometime in the relatively near future BPAX could be trading in multiple dollars. And I personally think there is the potentially for tens of dollars.
This will be over $1 again eventually, whether there is approval today or not. No need to worry too much at this point. It's annoying to see it in the low .70s yes, but no need to worry in my opinion.
It'll get past 1.39 certain. I am not certain how soon. It may not even be after next week. But certainly within the next couple to few months the general upward trend and pressure will get it past 1.39. Hopefully though, it happens next week for you.
All in all, this was a very good week. Last week we were in the .60s and low .70s. This week we are gonna close in the mid-.80s. That's not a bad gain for a week at all. It may be that after what happened after Libigel many people are just too nervous to hold this stock through an event like PDUFA. Quite honestly, for a fleeting moment at some point this week it crossed my mind that I could get out this week and enjoy an 80 perent gain or so. I suspect numerous people could be feeling the same way.
When I initially bought BPAX around December 15 it was purely a play for what I thought would be a pretty quick flip. It hasn't turned out to be so quick, but that's quite all right.
As time has gone on I have increasingly been thinking about BPAX as one of my long-term holdings. Looking at the company one can see they are a solid company. They really are doing a lot of things right. There is certainly a lot of potential with some of their pipeline. Their pipeline isn't weak either. They've really got some very solid drugs they are working on.
Regardless whether there is approval or not, over the longer-term BPAX will certainly continue to go upward in my opinion. If one was lucky enough to buy in the .40s or .30s they were able to snatch up extremely cheap shares. Even if one is just buying now they are able to get cheap shares. I think this might be a stock people might want to consider some longer-term investment in. Your intention might be to sell soon, and I don't blame you, but it could be wise to keep some of your shares.
I know I will be following BPAX for quite some time to come. This summer will be very interesting with more Libigel news.
It's up about 7 percent now. At the end of the day if it closes around this level or even a bit lower, a 4-7 (hopefully higher) gain for one day is not bad.
I am going to have an early lunch. Usually when I do such things and get away from the computer I find that BPAX has risen once I return.
I was about to say something similar. BPAX will continue to go up, no doubt, but it takes its time doing so.
Of course I have no idea, but my best guess is that either Thursday or Friday we will see a nice increase in the PPS. I wouldn't be surprised to see it rise above 1.06, which was the high on Monday.
You did well!
I thought a pullback was likely, but..
I thought a pullback was likely, the gains were just so much so fast. I wouldn't really be worried about the pullback all too much. I am quite certain that BPAX will soon close higher than it did yesterday.
Just be patient and don't worry too much is my advice.
There is a possibility that the drug could be approved sometime this week, otherwise we will know the news for certain next week.
I could have sold my shares at over $1, but I feel very confident that this will be quite a bit higher than one dollar as time goes on.
Maybe we will be lucky and close green today? Who knows?
Now presents a very good buying opporunity if you are looking to get in (or back in) in my opinion.
Good luck and relax!
Will this be at $2 soon?...
I think it should come as no surprise that BPAX is now over $1. I encouraged along with numerous others encouraged people to be patient with BPAX. It's now been nearly 2 months since the 80 percent drop, but patience pays off.
Still at $1.05 this stock, to me, seems quite cheap. One writer wrote that BPAX could soon approach $2. Perhaps it might, especially if there is the drug approval. People who are just buying now very well may see a double or perhaps more.
What do you think the stock will be at if there is approval? It's hard to guess, but certainly it seems, at least to me, that BPAX really could recover a lot, lot more from where it is at now.
It will be very interesting to follow BPAX over the next several weeks and months.
I own 27,000 at under 50 cents and I have not sold a single one.
Good luck to everyone. Unsurprisingly BPAX is turning out to be a very wise investment for quite a few people.
If it gets to $5 I will have made well over $100,000. I personally think 5 dollars is optimistic. But I would of course love it.
Personally, I am not certain were this could end up. But all things pretty much point that it will go higher from where it is now.

February 14th is getting closer and there is not much time left to buy below .70
This has risen more than 60 percent since the bottom.
Patience certainly is key. This has risen 60 percent since it was at .39 and its risen more than 30 percent since I got in at .48. That's quite a rise in only a month or so. This will continue upwards certainly, but it takes time. If one pays attention this has been holding steady at a higher rate.
Eventually this will start holding in the .70s. Some people will begin to become inpatient once it holds in the .70s and will once again start saying this is a POS. They'll do the same for the .80s, .90s and so on.
This will continue upward...
It's great to see that BPAX has made it into the .70s. Many of us knew that the .30s and .40s was far, far too low for BPAX. People who are just now buying the stock in the .60s or .70s are also in for what I suspect to be a very good deal.
If you're looking to buy, the next few days might be the time to do it.
I personally think BPAX will continue upwards significantly from the .70s. I am not sure exactly how quickly it will make it past a dollar and beyond, but I think it is a near certainty that it will quite soon.
If you look a bit longer term $2, $3, $4 could very well be in reach. Especially with some positive and exciting news.
If you look even longer-term one of more of their cancer vaccines could turn out to be a huge success, which could drive up the price past $10 or more.
At this point I am up about 50% I realize I could take a handsome profit, but I feel personally that the level it is at right now is too low for BPAX.
As I always like to say there could be some down days over the next couple of weeks. Try not to get discouraged or nervous, because the trend certainly seems to be upward with BPAX at this point
I do think there are a good amount of people who are buying this stock back after selling for tax losses. People sold on various days throughout the last couple weeks of December. So over the next couple of weeks everyday more people will have their 30-day tax-loss wait expire. Because a good amount will be buying back I suspect this will continue the upward pressure. Additionally, there will be upward pressure from the upcoming FDA announcement on Feb. 14th.
I definitely think the next several weeks could be quite interesting and quite exciting for BPAX. I truly think it is a great strategy to hold this stock right now instead of trade. One could make a lot of money buy deciding to hold.
I think a lot of us will make quite a bit!
This will rise much further...
I also am in since I bought at .48 back in December. This has so much potential and I do not plan to sell anytime soon.
There will still be some down days, but nothing to worry too much about because over the long-run it will continue upward.
Tax loss buyers next week...
I think there is a good chance that the price could begin rising quite a bit next week. Especially since the price is temporarily depressed again. Next week and beyond, people or sold for tax loss reasons will once again be able to buy. I think quite a few of them will have an interest in adding this back into their portfolio.
As I have stated before. Over the long-term this will rise. This is just a short-term decrease. Much like we just experience a short-term increase.
Logic dictates that this will once again begin to rise. Don't worry too much about the current downturn, no matter how annoying it is.
Patience pays off
I've stated before that I personally think BPAX will recover quite a bit from their 80 percent drop in stock prices. I am virtually certain the stock price will rise above $1 and perhaps considerably more.
The key is patience. One has to have patience and not necessarily put so much into the minute by minute movements of the particular stock they are watching.
Last week we had some people selling off their shares due to the downturn, I didn't sell off share because I know this stock is much more likely to recover than to go downward.
Like I said in my posts a few days ago. Sometimes I just walk away from my computer when the stock declines and often find the stock has recovered when I return. I do this to not get my emotions in the way of my logic.
This stock could go back into the .40s again (although I hope not), if it does however, I wont sell because I know it will very likely recover much higher when I ultimately decide to sell.
The general trend with this stock should be to trend upwards. It may not do so everyday, or even for a few days or perhaps a week. But over the long-run I think we should all expect the stock to trend upwards.
In my opinion, and personally, I will be waiting to sell a single share until this stock recovers quite a bit more. I think there is much, much more potential in favor of an upward recovery.
Exactly, you don't want to be left behind. It's unlikely that this stock would drop too much further. But its quite likely that the stock will rise quite a bit. One never does know when the rise will begin. That's the reason I am holding tight. There are many examples of a company like this making quite a rebound one just has to have the confidence and patience to allow it to rise to a more appropriate level.
Although I do sometimes watch BPAX by the minute if I have some free time or I am bored I tend to think that doing so is not always the best choice. It can cause anxiety when there is a brief downturn and that anxiety could lead to selling before we really want to.
Sometimes when the stock is down I stop looking at the stock and then I find it has returned or exceeded it previous levels quite often.
I feel confident that if one has the patience they should see some nice and perhaps very, very nice returns with BPAX.
I've got 27,000 shares at 48 cent average and I'm holding tight. The current down week doesn't worry me too much. This happens with all stocks all the time. The stocks ebb and flow in different directions and with a solid company like BPAX there is not much of a concern when it dips slightly like it is currently doing. I know that it's all part of the up-down-cyle and that BPAX will soon return upwards; and most likely significantly upwards.
If you don't mind I'd be interested in hearign how well you did with HGSI and SOMX. At what level did you get in with the two stock and what price did you get out.
January Effect
If there is a January effect for BPAX when do you believe it is likely to begin? Would it likely begin this week? Or do investors have to wait a certain amount of time to buy back this stock so that they can can claim tax losses?
I do believe that longer-term BPAX will rise significantly higher than it is today.
I have been a bit disappointed today seeing BPAX decline, while the market as a whole is up. Why do you think its down at the moment compared to the previous close?
With the stock market one really never does know. We can make educated guesses and wise assumptions. However, the stocks really do tend to go on a random walk.
I see so many predictions on this board saying the stock is going to go up today and then it goes down. Similarily when some say the market will go down, it tends to go up.
For the most part most of the predictions on this board don't come to fruition and thats to be expected.
However, there are some wise people on this board and I value hearing their substantive opions and thoughts.
Any thoughts on my above questions would be much appreciated.
There is no reason to sell at a loss
There is no reason to sell at a loss unless you need to sell out because you need the cash. I got in at .49 and bought 20,000 shares. Sure, there hasn't been a gain today. There may not be a gain on Monday. But over the long term the price will undoubtedly rise! I think anything under a dollar will generate some good returns. That's if you are willing to hold until the price rebounds above your buy.
If you bought yesterday at .50 and are selling today, I'd say you're being short-sighted. It might take a few days, or perhaps a few weeks, or maybe even a bit longer. But anyone who bought yesterday should easily be able to see some nice returns.
I think there is a good chance of a nice bump in the short-term for those have trouble waiting more than a day.
