Scam artists know how things work that's why a lot of them know how important image is (not accusing anyone of being anything, just talking in general). Haven't you ever heard the phrase "dress for success?" The phrase doesn't include pajama pants or beards/hair with a birds nest. If the marijuana people want change then they're going to have to change people's perception of it's users. Wearing purple pajama pants just helps reinforce the people's stereotype of the typical marijuana user.
Tell me the first thing you think when you see that photo of those two men. That's my point.
I know your post was mocking mine, but you helped proved my point. Scam artists are successful because they understand how the people view things.
edit: As for Angel, if I recall with that Jet picture of him, he still has a pony tail. Sure a pony tail shouldn't matter, but it does in other people's judgments.
It's amazing to me how people still fail to realize that image is almost everything in business. If you want to be taken seriously you basically have to dress in a suit and look presentable. The only important thing is your message and if your audience is distracted by what you look like then they will fail to receive your message.
People will take the ones pictured 10000000x more seriously if they look clean cut and wore suits instead of wearing purple pajama pants.
Did you send him another email? Just curious because you posted the same thing earlier:

Private communication is the only problem I have. JR has chosen to email a select few with promises of PRs and he actually provided someone last week with the current share structure.'
The communication we get should be from investor relations not from the CEO himself.
Why wouldn't you bet against it? It's win win. You would win some money if they don't release news, but if they do you would make tons more.
It's a very smart bet, afterall news will be released "next week." It's always next week. ;)
Is "next week" something JR says every week? It would be best if JR let the IR handle the IR... it's their job afterall.
My comment was made with tongue in cheek. Using the lawyer excuse is something that I've seen in pinkies before and it usually doesn't turn out well.
I would think if another company is posing a threat against your company you act swiftly, within one week. Not take your sweet time.
Emails are nice, but official filings are infinitely times better.
We'll get the filings as soon as the lawyers give the okay... It seems like everything with KMAG is being held up by the lawyers.
Where is KMAG mentioned at all on that link? Why not link the original source instead of the wikipedia page?
Why would the TA charge him for something he has no control over? It doesn't make much sense.
He was able to read his email and update an individual investor. Doesn't really matter, he'll get to whatever when he feels it's time.
What did the email say?
I hope you're right and the people at 1 do change their bid when the time comes.
You're assuming that the people bidding for 1's are willing to pay more. There's no way to know for sure, but I'd guess those wanting 1's are wanting to get the shares then sell at 2.
People could have sold at 2 for months, they're waiting on at least 3 if they are selling. The problem is there is no bid support at 3.
There's been 1.2 billion shares on the .0001 bid for a couple of months now, has it not?
You are correct.
I'll repost the question.
If a CEO and a company were selling shares, could they tell an individual investor that they were doing so before going public with the information?
The answer is no as it would be inside information.
It's neither positive or negative. It just is.
Do I think the company is selling shares? No I don't, if I did, I wouldn't have bought more today at 42. I was just wanting people to know that there is certain information that a CEO can't say in his email. The CEO would only be lying if he was in fact selling shares, which as already mentioned, I do not believe that to be the case.
Is it different than what was posted earlier about the buyback being announced this week? Link to the post is below:
http://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=76282596
In a personal email, no, no he wouldn't. It would be inside information.
Why not? Whatever happens during lunch will not impact my long term decisions.
Sounds great.
It's funny how a simple question/statement like "If a company was selling shares, could they actually tell investors in an email before going public with it?" can make so many people irritated.
The answer is obviously no. Is this CEO selling? No, he's not, but he couldn't say if he was to an individual investor.
So far, everything that has been emailed by the company has come true. Sure the PR about the financials has been delayed, but that isn't a big deal. They said they would post financials 2 weeks early and they came through. There is no reason to doubt any email the CEO makes at this point in time.
I guess the only discussion that is "tolerated" around here, is KMAGGERS get em gators squash those chickens..
I'm not planning on going anywhere for a while, this seems like a company with tons of potential, that is actually recognizing just a little bit of that potential.
All opinions negative or positive are welcomed on the KMAG message board. I posed a legitimate question. If a CEO was actually selling, he/she would not be able to tell an investor in an email before making it public.
My last post was not negative, it was, as was already mentioned, a legitimate question. It was not a negative statement on KMAG or the CEO of KMAG. So please do not "talk down" to me, because I actually ask legitimate questions.
If the company was actually selling shares would he have told you?
Someone's selling, and like many others I'm buying at this pps.
It conflicts with the main duties of a CEO.
So in your opinion, the CEO is purposely trying to lower the pps so that he can buy more shares? Hopefully this isn't happening as it would be pretty unethical.
Anyone who invests in RIGH and in other pinkies, should only invest what they can afford to lose.
True manipulation is obviously present in the stock market, I just thought there were certain rules in place to stop a CEO from doing it. Not accusing JR of anything. Just actually looking for someone to correct me if I'm wrong.
I wasn't aware you could get rid of them. Aren't they like roaches??
I doubt they would do something like this. Withholding news to gain a better price is manipulation is it not?
Yeah, I don't understand not releasing a PR either. JR is allowing the shorts to cover today with no PR.
Yes, that email from Angel has been posted many times. It sounds good and all, but we've been told soon about the symbol change 3+ months ago.
Emails don't matter, results do. Let's get some before taking an email, from a CEO, at face value.
Hopefully so, but what could be in the email besides what was in the Q1 report and forward looking statements? Will it mention the bought shares by JR, since it wasn't the company but JR personally?
Price might reflect .0003, but we aren't back there. We have been fluctuating between 2 and 3 for a while. Until we see a ton of buys in the threes, I don't think anyone can really say we are back there.
Due Diligence is something that is factual. Something that comes from a CEO that has no track is something that can't be backed up with any facts. Until Angel comes through with some of his promises, emails coming from him do not count as DD, at least when I do DD. :)
Angel really needs someone else handling IR. He probably spends too much of his day reading emails from investors.
Speaking of emails, has anyone received a response regarding the move to another building that was supposed to take place but never did?
How long was the delay, because of the lawyers, last time?
edit: Just was curious, I know it doesn't matter.
I'm hoping for after the close, that way I have plenty of time to go through it myself.
How does the "most read" take refresh? Does each refresh count as a read?
Having a basic skill set is nothing to brag about.
