Completes Name Change and Acquires Significant Intellectual Property Assets
Friday January 7, 9:51 am ET
MELBOURNE BEACH, FL, Jan. 7 Biotelemetric Signals Inc. (BTLGF:PK) formerly V-Loan Financial Services Inc. (VLNFF:PK) has completed an acquisition of certain technology and intellectual property of Success by Association, of Wyoming, dba ELF Labs.
The new combined entity will seek to fully exploit the marketing and franchising opportunities presented by the revolutionary technology developed, patented and trade marked by ELF Labs.
As apart of the transition, Biotelemetric Signals Inc. will be redomiciling to Delaware and will operate out of ELF Labs' Miami facility. An announcement regarding management reorganization is expected in the next few days.
In order to better utilize its resources in pursuing the new market opportunities, the company has liquidated its real estate loan business to the existing management team.
Success by Association is an established provider of breakthrough technologies with several products offerings and will continue as a private entity.
Information about the combined entity and the technology being acquired is available at the company's new website, temporarily located at www.lightbeamgenerator.com.

One of the many content to quietly do their own thing - lot out there that have great numbers but no PRs and don't do much of anything
Nice, congrats! Market is definately pro-biotech but investors are highly confused on how to value them - pricing is speculative and subject to psychology. I guess thats why you see BZET go up 30% on bad news just because it says "FDA" and "response" haha - hey I'll take it! :)
BZET up on FDA news for no reason, this is actually not good news - its not really bad news either, its worthless news :) Just an excuse to say "FDA" in a PR
BZET up on FDA news for no reason, this is actually not good news - its not really bad news either, its worthless news :)
Wow got my BPUR sell filled today up 250%, with margin that was 500%. Great flipper there, was expecting more along the line of a PARS flip but I'll take it! :)
Well before anybody "slammed" us (indirectly) we only made $4 million available and President Bush didn't even make a public address on the tragedy and flags weren't even lowered to half mass - there was no show of solidarity. After the "slamming" we raised it to $35 million. But at the time the comments definately seemed justifiable and perhaps are still so...
Consider this, the amount we pledged was even at that time eclipsed by the $96 million promised by Britain, a country with one-fifth the population, and by the $75 million vowed by Sweden, which amounts to $8.40 for each of its 9 million people. Denmark's pledge of $15.6 million amounts to roughly $2.90 per capita.
The US donation was 12 cents per capita.
Anytime we relegate ourselves to be equivalent in generosity to countries like Sweden and Denmark we shouldn't chafe at being called stingy.
Now we've since raised it again but I think the comment seems appropriate. That being said, I understand our generosity is heavily limited by the wars and tax cuts that Bush has afflicted on the dollar. Thats hardly an excuse though.
Anyways, my $0.02 - Happy new yrs!
Haha thats great! eom
Agreed but I don't get why it counts up, shouldn't it count down? :)
Either way, Happy New Year TGL! WHAAT!
10x the average volume and won't budge eom
Irvine Sensors Corp. ( IRSN ) reported that it shipped its first small production lot of Personal Miniature Thermal Viewers(TM) ("PMTVs(TM)") to an unnamed customer for use in the global war on terrorism.
The proprietary PMTV is a hand-held, battery-operated thermal video viewer, complete with display and eyepiece, which weighs less than 0.5 pound and fits comfortably in the palm of a user's hand. Using Irvine Sensors' proprietary Cam-Noir(R) infrared uncooled camera technology, the PMTV is designed to provide users with the ability to see in total darkness or in other adverse viewing conditions, such as smoke or fog. Because of its small size and weight, it can be stowed easily in a shirt or pants pocket when not in use.
Nice, .0021x.0023 - spread is tight on the run
PARS dipped enough previously to get me half out on my stop so I am bitter about the gain today haha but BPUR and PARS and SIRI have proven to be good plays for an edgy market that is willing to sell quickly on bad news and re-adjust rewardingly
Could still have wings - volume is not that high and trading is generally light this week - may have a run after the long holidays when people come back and this gain shows up on radars depending on how much value people place on other george foreman products
Very nice action today on this one, congrats :) eom
I think the coincidence of having mass phony faxes go out at the same time that a PR is released is too much to be unrelated. thanks for the info!
IFLB may be one to watch for volatility - the fact that they are still demoing the phantom system rather than having it rolled out a few months ago for this christmas as originally planned doesn't seem to have worried people today haha
MLXOV - without the squeeze and as an actual investment it should be most concerning that the best consultant they could find is Todd Violette who owned a shell that acquired Tango printing company, which he then fired the management of in April and has since announced has lost its one remaining major client and been forced to delist to the pinks as it rethinks its business strategy. The stock has fallen from .14 to .004 in 6 months - sound like a resource for a business strategy consultant?
MYMX up big today - wonder why? eom
Its unbelievable that even Somalia had deaths because of this thing, so far reaching - there was a washington post reporter in Sri Lanka who happened to be among the survivors. He said he was on the beach and that people noticed the "ocean looked funny" and he went back to get a camera so he had a head start when a few minutes later it was an all out sprint to get inside.
In an instant it can all change I suppose
Agreed great company, was a great buying opportunity after 3rd quarter earnings showed the verge of profitability
SSP/Jim: MWEX might be one for the shell list, interesting filings and only recently active since then
Haha I know those bastards! If only they could compromise... all the CRPPs of the world could merge with all the MLONs of the world. Let the hypers hype real companies, and everyone would be happy - it'd be a beautiful thing.
I have a dream...
Yea but not a PRer so like you said probably won't trade much soon because no one will care
I'll bite at these levels - but analyst downgrades could be bad news for selling pressure from here, only putting in what I can afford to lose, but thinking the clinical trial phase 2b announcement will buoy the stock.
Head up - you have as much chance of a penny stock plummeting as you do of it sky rocketing - because even the best DD is based on what the company tells you in filings and PRs and we all know how much thats worth. The next PR makes or breaks... so head up
TNGOE down huge today with the latest news - when you have only one major client and they are starting to refuse payments thats a pretty bad news... price is way down now though

Only concern is the loss of rights to the only product the company seems to have - this is normally not a good thing unless the terms of this are highly favorable, but without knowing terms, thats a toughy
OT, what a sad twist to what seemed like a strangely romantic story:

Strange that this news didn't have the impact I would've expected
Wow! Oracle announced this morning the signing of a definitive agreement to acquire PeopleSoft.
From press release: "This transaction puts together under one roof the best and brightest talent in the enterprise software industry, and further enables the combined companies to accelerate investments in innovation and offer customers a superior solution at a lower price. Together we’re forming a company with more applications and database customers than any other company in the world. This marks a significant turning point in the evolution of the software industry.
While the last eighteen months have been intense and often passionate, the boards and management teams of Oracle and PeopleSoft have jointly agreed to complete the transaction and pursue a timely integration. During this integration process, PeopleSoft employees will be treated fairly, plans will be clearly communicated, and all uncertainty will come to an end. We will not be restructuring Oracle’s operations as a result of this acquisition."
How can the PR say:
Usurf America, Inc. announced today that revenues for the nine months ending September 30, 2004 were $5,098,714 compared to $236,448 for the prior year. Gross profit for the nine months ending September 30, 2004 was $2,626,745 compared to $105,378 for the prior year.
When the 10QSB of the same day says:
NET LOSS
For the nine months ended September 30, 2004, we had a net loss of $12,448,539, or $0.0799 per share. In the comparable period of the prior year, we had a net loss of $1,990,795, or $0.0240 per share.
I don't get it? - OOHH gross profit, tricky bastards
BTWO has some interesting news eom
CNES benefits from some newsletter pumping eom
WLSF - marketing responding well to a pretty crappy 10QSB/A
Couple big buys, but a couple big sells just went through
PTSC bounces eom
Volume is way above average, wonder what is going on
5 day chart on ZICA is interesting, MFI and MACD are also suggestive
