According to a just published review in the German scientific journal Deutsches Ärzteblatt International, scientific findings from over 100 controlled clinical trials involving either cannabis or its constituents provide “clear evidence that cannabinoids are useful for the treatment of various medical conditions.”
Investigators from the nova-Institute and the Hannover Medical School in Germany reviewed over 100 controlled trials assessing the safety and efficacy of cannabis and cannabinoids. $CBIS

The Therapeutic Potential of Cannabis and Cannabinoids

Background: Cannabis-based medications have been a topic of intense study since the endogenous cannabinoid system was discovered two decades ago. In 2011, for the first time, a cannabis extract was approved for clinical use in Germany.
Methods: Selective literature review
Results: Cannabis-based medications exert their effects mainly through the activation of cannabinoid receptors (CB1 and CB2). More than 100 controlled clinical trials of cannabinoids or whole-plant preparations for various indications have been conducted since 1975. The findings of these trials have led to the approval of cannabis-based medicines (dronabinol, nabilone, and a cannabis extract [THC:CBD=1:1]) in several countries. In Germany, a cannabis extract was approved in 2011 for the treatment of moderate to severe refractory spasticity in multiple sclerosis. It is commonly used off label for the treatment of anorexia, nausea, and neuropathic pain. Patients can also apply for government permission to buy medicinal cannabis flowers for self-treatment under medical supervision. The most common side effects of cannabinoids are tiredness and dizziness (in more than 10% of patients), psychological effects, and dry mouth. Tolerance to these side effects nearly always develops within a short time. Withdrawal symptoms are hardly ever a problem in the therapeutic setting.
Conclusion: There is now clear evidence that cannabinoids are useful for the treatment of various medical conditions.

On October 9, 2002, the Coalition for Rescheduling Cannabis filed another petition.[41] The new organization consisted of medical cannabis patients and other petitioners who would be more directly affected by the DEA's decision. On April 3, 2003, the DEA accepted the filing of that petition. According to Jon Gettman, "In accepting the petition the DEA has acknowledged that the Coalition has established a legally significant argument in support of the recognition of the accepted medical use of cannabis in the United States."
Gettman speculates that if cannabis is removed from Schedule I, three possible outcomes are that cannabis could be:[42]
Regulated as a Schedule III or IV prescription drug, similarly to ketamine or anabolic steroids;
Regulated as a Schedule V over-the-counter substance; or
Removed from the Schedules and regulated similarly to alcoholic beverages or tobacco.
In a footnote to the majority decision in Gonzales v. Raich, Justice John Paul Stevens said that if the scientific evidence offered by medical cannabis supporters is true, it would "cast serious doubt" on the Schedule I classification.[43]
On May 23, 2011, the Coalition for Rescheduling Cannabis filed suit in the District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals to compel the DEA to formally respond to its 2002 petition to have marijuana rescheduled under the provisions of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA). The writ of mandamus filed alleged that the lack of decision by DEA, "presents a paradigmatic example of unreasonable delay under Telecommunications Research & Action Ctr. v. FCC."[44] In response to the suit, the DEA issued a Final Determination on the Petition for Rescheduling on July 8, 2011.[45] The Petition for Writ of Mandamus was subsequently dismissed by the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals as moot on October 14, 2011. [46]
In response to the petition's denial, medical cannabis advocacy group Americans for Safe Access appealed to the D.C. Circuit on January 23, 2012.[47] Oral arguments in the case Americans for Safe Access v. DEA will be heard on October 16, 2012.[48]

Arkansans for Compassionate Care needed 62,507 signatures to get the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act on the November ballot. On Aug. 22, 2012, the official Twitter feed for Arkansas Secretary of State Mark Martin stated, "Our office verified over 69,000 signatures for Arkansans for Compassionate care. They will be certified to the ballot." $CBIS
Medical Marijuana is legal in 17 states and Washington DC. At least seven states have Medical Marijuana on the ballot for Nov. 2012.
My question is: Will Legal Marijuana be an issue in how will these states vote? Will we see more or less on this issue in the next 60 days?
If 50% or more states legalize and/or decriminalize marijuana will Federal law change? Will it be changed from Schedule I so that more research can be done?

Positive posts help others when it is true. I don't lie to push a PPS in one direction or the other. I usually just post reminders from PRs for new investors to see. Some don't take the time to do much DD and therefore all they see is what is posted to IHUB.
I agree, I've loaded up. $AFPW
It is close enough to Halloween. Good timing of TITA. The stores have already put out their Halloween candy. I've been buying candy corn already. $HHSE
Maybe you could do some DD and see that they have several products. I don't believe Dept of Defense, USAF or any other government entity buy from scams. Hydrogen generation is a big deal to our government and the movement to "green" power.
"Upon a Midnight Clear" is one of nine feature titles licensed for USA home video release by Hannover House from Phoenix Releasing Group. Some of the other titles in the package include the gang-drama, "Deceptz," the action films "Beretta's Island" and "Abraxas" and the sci-fi horror titles "Dark Stalkers", "Cowboys and Vampires" and "Frankenstein: Day of the Beast." Hannover House has increased its slate of new releases and catalog promotions in 2012 by more than 400% over the company's release activities during 2011 (which was otherwise a record sales year for the Company). In addition to home video and video-on-demand activities, the company is also launching several theatrical titles, including the September 7th launch of "TOYS IN THE ATTIC" and the October 19 release of "THE WEATHER STATION." $HHSE
I think it is the perfect time for the release of "Toys in the Attic". I think kids will love it. Then when it comes out on DVD in a few months, kids will take it home. A lot of DVDs are sold at Christmas.
Turbo34, no point in arguing the same thing over and over and over. You've made your point. You can disbelieve and I will believe. I'm a positive person and I refuse to post negative junk to any of these boards because I would be hurting others. I'm not sure of the purpose.
However, lets agree to disagree about certain points and move on.

Why do you say that? They are amending tax returns before filing with SEC.
The trailer on "Paranorman" should target the right audience.
Remember all the scary movies from many years ago? Swamp creatures, the blob and all the cartoons with cats hunting smurfs, etc. Kids love scary movies as evidenced by Paranorman and Frankenweenie. Look at all the teens flocking to Zombie and Vampire movies. Dark Shadows from the 70s has even made a comeback. It's what kids like and parents will have to decide if their kids are old enough to see them. I think age 7 to 8 and up will enjoy "Toys in the Attic". $HHSE
$HHSE = One week 'til blast off. "Toys in the Attic" = kids love it.

$AFPW - This transition to fuel cell systems for back-up power is being driven by a number of important factors: (1) Lower fuel cell prices -- 80% reduction since 2002 and 35% reduction since 2008. (2) Cheaper life-cycle costs -- 25-50% over 10-15 year period. Verizon reports that use of a fuel cell back-up power system at its New York headquarters saved $680,000 over the first year of operation. (3) Higher power density and longer continuous runtimes. (4) Easier maintenance. (5) Remote monitoring capability. (6) Cleaner -- no dirty lead-acid batteries and no harmful emissions. $AFPW
