Fun fact I discovered today.
"TubenoseAlbatrosses belong to a group of birds known as tubenoses; the group also includes petrels, shearwaters, fulmars, storm-petrels, and diving-petrels. They have a special salt gland in their head that extracts excess salt from their blood and excretes it through a pair of bony tubes in the bill. This remarkable adaptation allows tubenoses to drink seawater without becoming dehydrated. In this great clip, cut by volunteer Susan, we can see the salty water being secreted through the nostrils."
Unfortunately I cannot post the YouTube clip in this post.
We had a discussion on April 22 in which you mentioned your
son's service in the Marines. I frequently go to YouTube to
explore the world and I never fail to discover gems I least
expected. I don't think I would have found this one by its title
alone but since it was in a collection of military feeds I clicked
on it and think it needs a broad coverage in this country. I am
posting it now in hopes you will get a chance to view it during
your trip. I would probably forget about it if I waited until your
return. Meanwhile this board can view it and help me remember
if you don't see it. Reserve time, once in it for five minutes or
so, one wants to see it to the end. As a infantryman in Vietnam,
I am still haunted, and nearing my lifes end I am finding it gets
worse. Reasons why are in this film project.
More of the same stupidity, Obama says he can't comment
on the Baltimore mess because it would be inappropriate.
And then of course he does. What a loser.

This may have something to do with it too. It doesn't matter
if we believe it or not. If Mr Market believes it, it happens.
Personally, I blame Greece.

German Government may be taking lessons from Obama on
how to destroy companies they may need to save their liberal
ass when the bad guys come.

Looking at the tape for today, I noticed some unusual things.
There was a sale trade at $8.06 at 14:22. The next trade wasn't
until after 3:00 and it was $8.25. All of the real gain was in the
last hour but most of it was in the last 8 minutes. And the last
trade was a sale higher than the bid by a penny. Was this JJ
doing the buying? Shorts covering? Who knows.
As for the acquisition dreams, It wouldn't have helped me
much if one was announced, and it isn't even rumored. Any
premium that would be given to AEMD stockholders would
hardly restore my initial investment. And I would expect pps
to decline as they usually do after acquisitions and the summer
stock slump. Maybe I'll regret selling yesterday, after holding
out for months waiting for a turnaround. If closing in the green
today was anything other than a fluke, I'm wondering what it
was caused by. Certainly not the withdrawal request?
Lieben and Fredrick (the great) woof their appreciation for
the tip. Woodchucks are getting thin. Too greasy anyhow.
Cross Click Media is the ticket.
Thanks. I have enough to add some more. Waiting will just
cost me more $$ that can be profits later.
Can't read that on iPhone, where are we in ranking?
Got my first milly today. Looking for that penny.
Having been screwed five times in twelve months by reverse
splits why I thought this might be different if I waited it out I
couldn't say. But Monday I set a stop that would give me a
50% loss and today was the magic day. The management
flubbed big time by not capitalizing on the Ebola outbreak
when it was in the news and that was the genie out of the
bottle moment that is not coming back. Putting on watch list
so that as it goes down I can be happy I sold when I did.
GLTA
You probably caught a muskrat, LOL. I'm trying fabric softener
sheets as a repellant. Per Heloise or somebody like that. I am
guessing they have to be refreshed by replacement fairly
often. In my experiment, the sticky will be cut to fit inside a
metal box.
The sticky I was looking at says it has a chemical in it that
puts them to sleep? I won't bother to find it again and link
it, but that takes the humane reason out of it for me. The box
has a window on the top so I can check it. I want to see if I
can catch more than one at a time also. I think I have whole
mouse families dining together!
That's the trap I selected from the lineup I saw on Amazon.
I have a order ready to go someday soon. To save shipping
I am building an order of smalls to go with the joint medicine
for the dogs, $63.50 alone. There is a small metal box mouse
trap for about $10 I will try also, and I am buying a box of the
sticky sheets with it. I plan on cutting a sheet to put some
on the floor of the box, so I can dump out any caught, in the
trash bin. I don't believe in catch and release, lol.
As for the septic system.. My water softener has been bypassed
for a couple of years now because even after two new drilled
wells, the water table may have dropped so I run dry now and
then. But the grey water system it runs into was built to take
the salt. We do have clay soil and hard water and my septic
leach field was constructed in the '60's or early 70's when I
was in the Army. It runs from the tank, across the back yard
about 150 feet, and under a woven wire fence to a calf pasture.
It gets pretty marshy and smelly some years so I know that
something isn't quite right. Put it on my list, I guess.
52 week high today $2.29. Earnings announced May 7 AH.
I may even have one of my dogs buried there! In 1964 on my
way to Hawaii I drove from Ft Benning to San Francisco to
take a ship. I stopped in Denver and left a beautiful Blue Merl
American standard collie with my parents. I took a female
with me but Hawaii required a four month quarantine that
cost half a months pay, and my dad had lost his dog to a car.
My dog, Sabre, died about six years later and I remember my
mother telling me they had put him in a cemetary.
I think my location is safe as if future owners want to build
something there they will block the only view to the valley
to the South.
Yes, I know the feeling. The ground is bare around mine and
everything is quite visible from my kitchen door and picture
window. I have 70 years worth of pets there, plus more in GA,
HI and NJ. I have a big dog sized grey monument of a seated
dog that I picked up at a local dealer. Everyone that ever came
to look at puppies when I was breeding Weims wanted one
but my dealer had picked it up as a sample at a trade show
and he couldn't find who made it or if it was one of a kind.
I bought it for $65 which was cheap even at the time
considering how much resin was in it. It looks like a Weimaraner
But I believe it was a chocolate lab cast in grey. Someday I
may be able to post pictures on IHub.
I know I kill a bunch of the good guys every time I use a bowl
cleaner. And this winter there has been a big buildup of slime
in the toilet tanks, especially in an upstairs bathroom that
doesn't get used very often. Another of those things that I
dread looking forward to this summer is to have my whole
system checked and pumped out. I have pumped the tank
about every 6 years, not enough by the chart in your pdf link,
but I also have a separate grey water system that all of the
sinks, showers and laundry drains go to. Also a water softener
that is a big water user. But the weather stayed so cold, days
went by with temps below zero, that I think the drainfields
got clogged as the bugs couldn't work. Constant code revision
and EPA rules plus inflation have made septic systems very
expensive. They can't seem to understand there are people
that live miles from a neighbor. They will ban outhouses next.
Give EPA workers portapotties, I say. Or burn barrels and
make them pull the detail, lol.
Depends if it brings up hair and old toothpaste on its way up!
Ugh, enough fun. I meant to ask you the other day. You said
something to TTT about using yeast in a septic tank. I use
RidX all the time and it is very expensive. But surely it is more
than yeast. Where did you get your information?
I'm buying two of these to fill in some missing markers for
my garden pet cemetary.

Then when it blows up and gets dripping from your ceiling you
get your exercise by cleaning it off? LOl.
This, from a PR in the iBox, answers your share question.
As previously reported, readers should be advised that in November 2013 the Company changed its fiscal year end from September 30 to December 31. As a result of this change, the Company’s annual 2014 results include consolidated financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2014 (“FY-2014”), with comparable figures for the 15-month period ended December 31, 2013 (“FY-2013”) and, accordingly, the results shown are not fully comparable. The Company also completed a consolidation of its common shares, effective November 5, 2013, on the basis of 50 pre-consolidation shares for each post-consolidation share.

Uranium Producer Energy Fuels to Buy Miner Uranerz
By Simon Casey - Jan 5, 2015, 9:52:57 AM
(Bloomberg) -- Energy Fuels Inc. agreed to acquire Uranerz Energy Corp. for about $150.6 million, consolidating two uranium producers amid a prolonged slump in the price of the nuclear fuel.
Investors will get 0.255 of a share of Energy Fuels, the second-largest supplier of U.S. uranium, for each share of Uranerz, the companies said today in a statement. The offer represents a 37 percent premium to Casper, Wyoming-based Uranerz’s Jan. 2 closing price. After the takeover is complete, Energy Fuels shareholders will own about 45 percent of the company and Uranerz investors the rest.
Both companies have posted losses over the past 12 months. The price of uranium has dropped more than 25 percent since the March 2011 earthquake and tsunami that hit Japan, leading to a meltdown at the Fukushima Dai-Ichi nuclear power plant and the suspension of the country’s other reactors. Four U.S. reactors shut in 2013 because they weren’t profitable or needed costly repairs.
“Given the depressed state of the global uranium market, we expect management teams have been actively assessing combinations and think this could jump-start a sector that is ripe for further M&A,” Daniel W. Scott and Bryan C. Bergin, analysts at Cowen & Co., said today in a note.
Uranerz announced in September that it sold the first uranium from its Nichols Ranch mine in Wyoming. Toronto-based Energy Fuels accounts for about 20 percent of U.S. uranium production from its White Mesa mill in Utah.
Shares of Uranerz rose 2.6 percent to $1.18 in New York while Energy Fuels dropped 15 percent to C$6.25 in Toronto.

Thanks for pointing out the illegality. I know how no sane
Coloradan would think about breaking a law. I do remember

saw such a group of clear headed, focused and law-abiding

Bud and Breakfast? Now there is a clever idea.
I have been to a few concerts. I'm not far from the Woodstock
location. I was pretty busy for the 1st one, I had returned to
Vietnam from my home in Hawaii. I was back in NY for the
2nd one, and have a t-shirt. Lol.
I wish them good luck searching those crowds at night at
Red Rocks. Let me know how it goes when the season starts.
It was snowing all AM here in central NY. My dog caught and
ate a woodchuck. They seem confused.
With the merger coming up, which stock, URZ or UUUU
is the best to buy? I own equal shares of both. Scottrade
will charge a $20 transaction fee I believe. But since I already
own shares I'll have to pay that anyway. All the talk about
the Clinton's deals with the Russians might have more
interest shown to this sector.

Ready for another story to make you want to choke the left?
Long but important. This may become a bigger story yet.

This Clinton affair about the Russians sure set the Fox people
off. They have been pushing it all day and may well stay on
it for quite awhile.
Well, I finished it. And I am still trembling. With anger. And
I had something like that happen to me in 1994 and it changed
my life too. I have seen the dirty cops leave or retire, the
Sheriff be forced to resign, and the prosecutor not get re-
elected. But the damage they did over their reign of terror
affected many families. I bookmarked that article and will
email it to my list of contacts that follow this sort of material.
I think you should post it on the Liberal Free Chat Board.
Or I will if you want. I post there all the time. Did you look
at the Sober clip? I want to hear some sighs of how wonder-
full they are. Or is that just me hahaha.
I know but I thought the normal people in the state must have
some discussion about the ramifications of the new laws.
I haven't seen much discussion in the national news except
for some Puritan conservatives. Like O'Reilly. This new news
about Hillary will keep their attention for awhile. Poor Gen.
Petraeus. Compared with what the Clintons and Obama have
done concerning security, for him to get punished is criminal
in itself.
I have a serious question. What is the scuttlebutt in CO for
residents, er parents, who want to take their kids to concerts
and other outdoor large venues where the vast clouts of pot
smoke can be hardly avoided by the kids? Example, here is
my favorite group at one of the places I loved to visit when
my parents lived in Golden. I love this video, look at the faces
of the crowd, especially the young ones. I even know the
guy with the knitted pull down cap and reddish beard, who
is looking up to the left in the center of the frame, halfway
through. He used to live in Littleton, married girl with 3 kids
and I lost touch. He was a smoker but I bet he had second
thoughts when his adopted daughters started to develop.
I never heard of this guy, but I want to explore his work a
little. After the video you posted ran, I clicked on one of the
four choices in the window "It's Bad You Know." Lot of old
film of motorcycles, some look to be from the 30's even.
One brief clip was spectators at a fair looking down at a
bike rider that started at the bottom of a big barrel and went
round and round until he built up enough speed to start
climbing the walls. They would ride to the top, giving the
spectators a thrill, then work their way back down back to
the sawdust floor. My dad did that in HS one Summer working
at a carny (carnival) for $5 a night. He was born 1916 so I
suppose this would have been around '31 or '32. He owned
an Indian, I see many in this video. Strange to see the bikes
with no windscreens and the old style football helmets.
I can't post a link with an iPad with out losing what I just
typed, so readers interested can search on YouTube by the
title and R.L. burnside. And while I'm here, you can click on
my favorite song. And place to hear it sung, except I would
not take my grandchildren to Red Rock now as they would
surely be overcome by 10,000 pot smokers. I wonder what
they will be doing about that this summer. A real problem
for parents!
"The first black woman" is all it takes to get a job in any DC
office now. Qualifications don't matter. She'll go out with the
rest of the sewage when Obama gets flushed.

The youth of Russia would revolt if Russia seriously looked
at war with America. They love everything American and now
so many Russians have emigrated here they don't have to go
far to be able to find out the truth about what is really going
on. The Internet is loaded with daily examples of people to
people that I see all the time. I like to read comments left on
YouTube and news articles, use a translator app if necessary
to get a basic idea. My brother and sister now both live in FL
and there are huge colonies of Russians there they intermingle
with all the time, my brother is married to one, although long
separated. I follow Russian TV on line sometimes to get their
viewpoint and am surprised to believe their version over the
one fed to our media lapdogs by Obama people.
Thanks for posting that. It's a long read, but worth it as it
covers the whole background very well. I've been watching
Fox and reading Twitter and various news for the past few days
about this uranium story and didn't understand the implications
as I have long known of the scrapped warhead deal we had
with Russia. Too be fair the U.S. And Russia have a great deal
of commerce together that benefit both of us on the citizen
level, I have stocks suffering since Obama's sanctions started
to get imposed. For which I blame Obama for his weakness
and foreign policy failures that encouraged Putin to make a
fool out of him at our expense. Uranium is just another
commodity for sale in my mind, I'm far more concerned about
the Chinese buying our companies and the patents that go
with them. This story will make the case against Hillary getting
the presidency better as most Americans will think she sold
a piece of the State of Wyoming and the Russians will make
a bomb out of the ore from there and use it on us.
I went to the Amazon app for my iPad and put Tomcat in the
search block, then clicked on mouse traps when it came up.
They have a whole line of traps, three are white plastic. The
one that looks like it would be good for me, disposable, has
jagged teeth. I don't see any red, the trip pan is black, the rest
is white. Two in a bag for $3.99. Is that the one? I usually use
Victor wooden mouse traps, they have been around for years
and usually set well. Chinese knockoffs don't set properly
most times and I got a bunch of beige plastic push to set
that frequently let the mouse get away, unless it's baby mouse.
Our country mice eat wheaties and I've had a lot pull out from
even the wooden Victors. In the garage I have had a bunch
disappear, even rat traps. That may be red squirrels that have
gotten in and taken up residence, lol. I have a lot of shelving
and farm parts and supplies out there. I think I'll order some
when I reorder some Cosequin DS for my dogs. I swear by
that brand, read years ago it was better because it was more
absorbable than the hundreds of brands on the market for
prevention and treatment of hip problems. I comparison shop
and always find it cheapest, around $62-65 at Amazon, and
the traps would ship free. So thanks for the post.
My in-laws in Wyoming tell me REAL Cowboys always pack
lube in their saddlebags when they summer in the mountains.
You never know when you'll run across a stranger. I've got
to ask, are sheep self-lubricating because of all that oil in the
wool, or no?
OMG! Am I talking to MOVIE STARS?
Supposed to get down to 31° tonight. Expecting rain, but
snow flurries are possible. Day temps have been cool, but
alright most days. All due to global warming of course.
Hope he has no lasting effects from his service that will be a
big consideration healthwise in the future, like Agent Orange
turned out for me and possibly your father. Sooner or later,
we ran out of beer and had to drink the water. Which became
contaminated all over the country. In Iraq there are potential
problems with depleted uranium, insect diseases, immunization
shots, and untold numbers of chemical and biological rounds
that Saddam had buried, just for starters. My son did ROTC
at Rice, finished Abn, and got out before any of it started. My
daughter is a RN in the VA hospital that is mainly chartered to
care for mental patients.
Your father looks to be receiving a Vietnamese medal from
the Viet General on the left. Can't see his rank, CPT maybe?
USMACV patch, Armor Branch. Do you have the medal?
